You have not been misled. Madrid was a great Street Walker city, but that was a decade ago. Where for a week I brought a gem to my apartment every night, and there was an abundance of them. Eventually it became a routine where I chilled somewhere during the day, go back to my apartment to freshen up and go prowling in the dark. But with each passing year the quantity and quality diminished. 2018 was the last time I went to Madrid and I took only 1 walker to my apartment the whole week, maybe 2 walkers but they weren't really gems.
