You can get a girl just as quick if not quicker at la cafe. She may not be a stunner but she won't cost you more than a couple of thousand peso and you don't have to buy a lady drinks. I usually stay near Robinson that way I can get 2-3 girls from la cafe every night and the total cost won't come near Burgos street prices. I also troll the dating websites all day long. I keep my messages short and ask them if they want to meet right after I say Hello,. Girls respond better if they know you are in the Philippines and not wasting their time and if things don't work out la cafe opens 24 hours.

Burgos bars are expensive and the quality sometimes hard to find. I haven't used them anymore as much as I did maybe 3-4 years ago. Now I think pinay pussy is so easy to find elsewhere wihout too much trouble anyway so why bother. For a firstcomer it might be ok if you don't know pick up places like Havana etc.

I just spent 10 days in Manila. I ended up once in Rogues and Burgos playing pool and buying 2 girls some tequilas and myself too. Those 2 girls were actually found in Tinder and met in Havana. I didn't feel like having sex at 8 pm and wanted to get more drunk, play pool, eat foods etc. Of course it is annoying a bit that that Tinder girl from Havana had to have a friend with her (rather ugly one) but I said it was ok because on holiday I don't want to count every piso. The bill from playing pool drinking tequilas with 2 girls in Rogues was about 4700 p and it was many games and quite a long time. Of course this is splashing around with money but well. You can't just enjoy having sex all the time and I didn't feel like drinking alone either.

A couple of nights before I also got drunk at Havana chatting with some random girls. One ugly girl at the same table with us got annoyd as I was just drinking with her friend and she asked angrily "are you taking her out because I need make money" and something like "it looks like you are with her and no customers can come here". I was a bit drunk already and pissed off. She said "move to another table". Wouldn't even be easy and all the tables are pretty much reserved at 11-12 pm. I said "no, fuck, you go to another table" and there she went mad. I felt I was a paying and drinking customer there, she is no-one to tell me to move ffs. Then I was approached by a decent looking new girl from the same table the angry girl went. She told sorry about that and that she didn't like that girl either. This new girl was wearing loosely fit grey pants, like sporty style. I finished my drink and another. I was not planning to take a girl out but was feeling good with her so I went to my closely located AirBNB condo with her.

We showered and as I was drunk I wanted DATY and ate her nice pussy. Then she said "fuck me doggy style" and moved to that position. She said "you have condom?" but I said something like "you like condom?" but I was eager to fuck her from behind and in I went. I was drunk and needed to rest a couple of minutes beside her but then I was fucking her missionary and after sometime was finally able to finish inside her pussy. She went to toilet and of course I was worried about BB with a Havana girl and of course she promised that she was not sick etc. But maybe quite stupid getting drunk and barebacking a Havana girl? I asked if she worked many days she said no but when leaving she said "come see me tomorrow night there".

Other days I was drinking in Raffles happy hour of Friday with a girl met online. She had tattoos (a bit turnoff for me) and decent looks but at the same time I was texting with a teenager 19 yo looking for a BF. So I said I have to go meet her so I paid the tattooed girl her happy hour and ubers from quite far maybe total of 2000 p. I met that teenager in Greenbelt and asked if she comes with me and she said yes and to the condo we went. I was drunk too and couldn't finish but with a bad hang over the next morning I shot my load inside her small pussy. Things good in the Philippines. I was planning to see her but she said she couldn't during my last days there because she went staying with a friend, a guy, she said just a friend and no sex. I have been vibering her and she said something "see you next year". Why not, but she seemed a bit distractive and always facebooking or maybe I as a 40 yo are not enough same type as her.

In my final day I hosted a MILF type girl in her 30's from Bicol as she came to do some errands to Manila for a few days. The following and night we had sex (really good BJ) and also the next morning a couple of days. I came on her body. Things good in Manila. Then I took a uber to the airport to Bangkok and Pattaya for 4 days (reporting from Pattaya). Here it might not be a good idea BB but it seems widely available. Just met a girl for ST for 900 bahts and she would have been OK and even tried to remove my condom but I wasnt drunk as after drinking 1-2 weeks in Asia a couple of beers is not enough so I kept going on protected and shot my load from standing doggy into the condom with this 30 yo big breasted mom. She said she works in a bar Pattaya soi 13/2 which is a quiet beer bar so she not have many customers.

Agree with ED and why when I first visited many years I wold go this route and / or Havana Café. Now I have contacts who have friends and know how to use the web sites etc if I really want to but rarely as why bother when I have friends with friends.

Time is the key and a week in Manila means limited time to chat and play the games you may need to get lucky. And there if you play the game you still need multiple back up plans etc.

And why some think Makati is cheap for girls in bars I another conundrum for me. Plus once you have chosen she cold be a starfish, chubby (but well hidden) etc.

So many variables and if limited time is a pot luck sort of situation so can be expensive and disappointing at the same time.

    I agree with E D here.

For a first-timer (who is actually coming to Manila to work as a priority), keep it simple and stick to P4 P.

Any deviation from this will require a lot more planning and research and if you are focused on your work and, like me, it takes up most of your time, then it's a no-brainer to go with the simple, structured approach.

    JMHO.

It's a big city, so don't try to do too much. For the fake dating scene, you need time, perseverance and some understanding of the culture. Suggest you stick to P4 P first as it's more efficient.

Need to get my head around all the options, would appreciate any general as well as specific advice on that front (it'd be a bit like a punter's first-time visit to Singapore but maybe x100). For example: bars, massage parlours, dating sites, Blendr / WeChat hookups, and even those casual 'at the shopping mall' pickups.

For example: I'd be happy for a simple fun casual dating / Blendr hookup as long as they 'get' that it's casual and that I won't be there for more than a few nights, won't be taking them and their extended family to dinner, and definitely won't be coming back to marry them! Some of that makes me think that unless I can 'find' that before I get to Manila I might be better off with the straight P4P option.

Am of course going to do some solid reading here but if any experienced Philippines punters might want to share some 'Cliff's Notes' to help me get up to speed, that'd be hugely appreciated!

Except for the digital trail that you leave when you use the app to order the Grab or Uber taxi.

I think it's virtually impossible these days to travel anonymously. Maybe you can avoid paper trails but your cell phone and / or laptop leaves digital trails whereever you go.

Making calls outside the United States is 20 cents per minute in most countries and usually free to call back to the States on WiFi. But double check that on their website. Only other thing to know, they have a relatively small selection of Android phones. No iPhones. I'm very happy with the pixel. Go to the website and check it out, if you're interested I can get you a link for $20 off your bill.

Thanks Charm City Dave for this information. I will check out the Google Fi website for sure. The service sounds good for someone like myself who travels to multiple destinations once or twice a year because it is such a hassle to have to buy a new local sim card in every country I visit, every time I visit because I am in country too infrequently to keep my local sim cards current. For example, in Thailand you have to present your passport in order to purchase a sim card and in the PI, you sometimes have to wait in a long line just to buy another sim card. So yes, a no contract Global monthly service would be very practical from my perspective. All I want to do on my cell phone when I travel is Line / Vibre chat with my girls, Uber, use the translater and map app occasionally, and take photos. Everything else I prefer to do on my laptop in my hotel room.

    Google Flight

I did not have enough miles to pay for my flight in miles, but if I had the requisite miles I would have. After following the link to the United website from Google Flight, I logged into United and had the option to pay for the flight with a credit card or with miles the same way as if this flight had come up on the United website search. But this flight does not come up on a United website search, only on a Google Flight website search. That is what impressed me. So I made my purchase and it is a 100% United ticket and I am getting full miles credit for the entire flight which I will use at a later date.

Give it a try. Go to Google Flight and play around with the input variables ie cities & dates and see if you like any of the combinations and prices. Google Flight lists all the viable flights of the major carriers not just United Star Alliance flights. My particular United Flight is MIA to ZUR on Swiss Air, ZUR to BKK on Thai Air then my return flight is HKG to Newark on United and Newark to FLL on United. Alternatively I could have booked the Ana flight from MNL to Japan / United to the USA and stayed within the Star Alliance or I could have selected some other combination of carriers and been directed to their respective websites to make the final purchase, but the United HKG flight is of much shorter duaration than the alternatives, the price was really good, and I figured what the hell, it will be fun to cap off my next trip with 2 final nights in HKG. I haven't been to HKG in 4 years and I do like Chinese girls. LOL.

Can I Line or Viber text one my sexy little friends? Can I arrange for an Uber pickup? In other words, can I access the internet straightaway using Google FI and at no addtional cost other than the monthly subscription rate?
