Last I knew prostitution is legal in Spain, but then I haven't been there in a few years. Menorca had a full-blown *****house just outside of the main port city of Mahon some years back.

As for Palma, I'd bet money that the old part of the city (the "gut") still has the bars where the pros are thick as thieves. There should be a "Tres Estrellas" bar somewhere in the middle of that area. Of course this was 20 years ago, but things generally remain the same in port cities such as Palma, IMHO. Just outside the "gut" is a restaurant with the best Spanish food you ever had. Big wagon wheel hanging outside above the door. <sigh>

An update from Majorca today

1. See the report in Archives for clubs - there are still 5 there; next street up from the Hotel Palas Atenea western end of the Paseo Maritimo.

Prices now in Euros; 6 for a beer; 20/30 for ladies cocktails; activity in the backrooms starting at 100/120 dependent on the place for 30 minutes and offers ov visits to your hotel for starting at 200.

Probably a wider selection of girls than before: Spanish, African, South American and Russian/East Europeans.

There is never any hassle in these places (as long as you pay for what you have consumed) and if you do not like what you see, just move on to the next.

2. Palma SW - during the day
Just off the Plaza Major is a square called Banc de L'Oli - some mature ladies (40s) for 30E in a nearby apartment

At the top end (furthest from the city center) of the Sindicat - small street called Justicia - few girls hanging around - the area is being redeveloped and the girls looks as though that should apply to them as well.

Thanks for the info. It looks that Ibiza probably has the better nightlife but is there any mongering at all that coud be done on Ibiza? I am going to start in Barcelona so I should probably get all my mongering out of the way there. I was just wondering if there is anything. I am not expecting much but I would like to be aware just in case.

Both (Mallorca and Ibiza) are major worldwide tourist spots, so both enjoy a WIDE variety of restaurants, and of course, some of the best beaches in Spain and maybe whole Europe. Ibiza well known for its clubs and night life (pretty wild if you are under... let's say 30), but you can find your share of nature and sun, but not as much as in Menorca (a smaller island, very close to Ibiza).

Mallorca is more focused in upper class tourism, "beutiful people" as are often called in Spain, politicians, royalty and a wide selection of celebrities from all over the world. Nice place, but not very popular in terms of non-pros hunting. Most of the girls I know, if the have to chose between Mallorca and Ibiza for a week of sex & sun with a bunch of class-mates, work-mates or girlfriends, they choose Ibiza without ANY doubt.

Definitely, I am with you, not considering neither one (Ibiza or Mallorca) a great place for mongering, but Ibiza has, again, a nightlife wild enough to make it pretty easy to score with some half-drun english girl, (or german, or dutch) if you know how to move, but certainly not much easier than in any other summer resort in Spain or western europe.

Thanks for your response. I did not thinks either of these islands were great place to monger on but Mallorca looks like the better one. What about the nightlife and picking up regular women on these islands? Which one is better? I know from reading Ibiza is great for clubbing and pretty expensive. I do not know much about Mallorca's nightlife. Which island has the better beaches and restuarants?

I have just been to both Ibiza and Mallorca and have to say that the mongering in Palma? Mallorca is more plentiful and easier and cheaper than Ibiza, which was a washout. Ibiza may be great for Clubbing etc, but not that hot on the basic mangering.

Well it seems the reports for Mallorca are pretty thin on the ground, well I have just been there for a few days and have the following information to assist others, firstly pick up a copy of the local news paper Ultimo Hora and the relax section of the classified ads has about two pages of ads for table dance places, knocking shops, and appartments with girls etc, there is no shortage of choice, I picked out one for oriental gorls, and there were a choice of 4 , two thais, one japanese and a chinese girl, all between 18 and 22, I had a great time with the chinese girl and was pleased €60 for 1/2 hour, then I went back two days later and took a thai girl for a spin, equally no complaints.
They didn't speak English and their Spanish was bad, but we managed, I have the address if any one wants it.

The other place I checked out was Top Models, which I remembered from about 4 years ago, it has changed a bit but is open 24/7 and seemed to have a lot of black girls, who tend to be pushy. this was also €60 for 1/2 hour but not as friendly as the oriental ladies.

Some advertisers in the ultimo hora say they speak english, so those of you who don't speak Spanish might try those, but it worth trying, once you have an address it is easy to work it out from there.

Happy hunting, there is loads there, I saw some street action but didn't sample it, some on the avenidas and others on Joan Miro street behind the port.

I used to travel to Mallorca a couple of times a few years ago and usually found pros waiting in the side streets around Zorba's night club in Playa de Palma. They were mostly older semesters but still quite sexy.

In the capital, Palma de Mallorca, there used to be a nice little street, about 1 mile or so south of the tourist market place (forgot the name of the street as well as that of the tourist market place) with a couple of girls (junkies?) waiting for customers past midnight.

Anyone with an update on the situation?
