How do you manage your travel and currency? Preebookings of hotel and female company? Where do you get good quality female companions? More like upscale providers?

I used to just book directly with Spririt when I lived in Miami since their rates couldn't be beat. Since I no longer live in South FL I now typically use Google Flights to try to find cheap flights. For currently I always get colons from an ATM once I'm in Costa Rica. I usually stop at an ATM in the airport to get some and then for the remainder of my trip I usually get it from one of the banks near the Del Rey (I typically use one of my banks that don't charge foreign transaction fees by the way). For hotels I always try to book directly with the Hotel Del Rey since I find their price is usually cheaper than if I try to book one of their rooms via Hotels.com or Agoda (which I've used both in the past). I only get girls from the Hotel Del Rey so can't comment on places to get girls since I like to be able to see girls in-person and pick out whom I like.

Well, I got to Costa Rica for my first time in late November, 2018. Thanks to everyone on this board for the information and education about San Jose! I booked my first three nights at Hotel Del Rey, and that was a good choice. Although the ride from the airport is long (about $40 at night), I like the hotel a lot. I've seen some complaints on here ("it's a dump," etc.), but it's an old hotel (maybe from the 1940's), and I found it charming. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big, the showers are hot, the AC works, and you can't beat it for being close to the chica action (walk down to the bar, hang out, get your chica, and return to your room. Easy!) It also seems to be quite secure, with the security they have (that neighborhood is a bit sketchy at night).

Keep in mind that if you take a chica to your room, you have to check in at the elevator, and pay an $11 chica fee.

I enjoyed three chicas over my three days. Here's a run-down:

Well it's hit and miss during the holiday season.

You will almost definitely find fewer girls at the likely places.

But you can still find one if you want one. You might have to settle for less than a 10. Or not. Depends.

If you have a choice of going later in January or February etc then sure, that would be better. But I've gone during Christmas-to-NY and gotten some nice talent. Like I say, it's just a matter of fewer to choose from, but that doesn't mean you can't find one to satisfy your desires.

I book via Expedia. Choices for hotels that allow female company are on this forum; not all allow it. I like the Taormina, it's one of the most upscale but the price is not that high. You don't want to walk around down there at night but otherwise it's fine, and the other chica-friendly hotels are pretty much the same as far as not being in the SAFEST areas. Most of San Jose is a place that is not really "dangerous" but also not a good idea to walk around at night.

Once you're familiar with it, maybe but not as a newbie. Some others can chime in with their favorite hotels. I only have experience with the Morazan (low end) and Taormina (higher end). The Del Rey is not cheap but it is the heart of the action so it's an option especially for those with the money and who don't want to risk walking around. It's all right downstairs.

You can get high end chicas at the Del Rey Hotel. If you're talking about call girls who come to your hotel, I have no idea other than the usual internet sites. But have never done that. I like to go see 'them and pick 'them, live! Currency you can change at the Del Rey or any bank. What I do is just get colones from a bank ATM from my USA bank card. There's a Banco Costa Rica right down the street from the Del Rey. Don't advise using any ATM at night but it can be done.
