So, I took one for the team and visited Oxyzen. As mentioned before, mostly for practical reasons: it was super close to where I was staying, and didn't have the possibility to go very far. The feedback is simple: I didn't like it. There's too much 'upselling' and a lack of discreetness. The ladies are not amazing. The sex. And massage. Were not super bad, but certainly not something I'd go back to in a city like Barcelona, that has much better options. I'm not going to detail the lady and the experience now, and I'll leave it at 'go somewhere else'. If more information is wanted I'm happy to oblige.

Take a couple of hours to read back through the last 20 pages of the thread, and you will find a tremendous number of recommendations. I mention five places in my post, and Chuzby recommended one in the post he just did.

The reviews do not strike me as being as consistently good at these two places in comparison to the more commonly recommended Barcelona venues of Vecinitasbcn1, Vecinitasbcn2, teensbcn, El Eden53, and Sinners.

Not sure why you would have chosen these two lightly reviewed places in comparison to the many places with a lot of positive reviews.

I felt pretty comfortable. The older lady / mamasan that let us in made us feel at ease. At least for me. And Linda helped too. There's no Uber right now in Barcelona. They were just banned a month or so ago. For the taxis you're going to have to flag down one with solid green light cause those indicate there's no passengers. I say solid green light because at night the reflection can play a trick on your eyes and make it look green. I made sure with the taxi driver how much the ride was going to be. I didn't want to be taken advantage of and one guy in my opinion was going to overcharge me so I got off. BTW thanks to the poster who put my report in the reports of distinction. It takes a lot of work to write one so much appreciated. Makes me want to write more reports in the Tijuana section. Still debating over that.

I think the taxis in Barcelona have an app called "my taxi" which is similar to Uber.

Thank you. I'll think about it I'm now also pondering to visit Oxyzen. I can't find any recent reviews, but the place looks decent. And it's pretty close to where I'll stay, so I can just walk. I'll try to search a little more, and if I go I'll report back here. Any experiences with Oxyzen are very welcome of course!

For both places you don't need an appointment. I believe both of them are 24 hours. The first one I'd be comfortable going late at night. Is near La Pedrera so there's a lot of foot traffic cause tourists want to take a pic there. The second one I wouldn't go if I was going alone though is near a metro station. I think the metro runs longer Friday and Saturday so maybe I'd consider those days if I was alone. When I went with my buddy it was basically a ghost town except for two drunks that kept staring at passing girls. And interestingly when we got near the Asian place I flipped out the phone and called them. My buddy who can take me anywhere I tell him is running the other way and I had to run him down because I had seen the address. We go back and get let in. It was a bit stressful and all I'm trying to say is this is not an area you want to be lost.

For both Asian places, can you comment on the quality of the environment, and if you needed to make an appointment? I'm looking to visit Barcelona again soon, I have a thing for Asian girls, but I'm looking for a late night spot (after 0:00) and will not be able to make an appointment first.
