Premier has the best and maybe only WiFi that actually works. I used to put my phone on airplane mode and never had a problem with a signal there. M20 had the most modern room that I've seen. It reminded me of a decent Vegas room but the location is further from the border. Mansion is the quickest ride from the border. I used to like it because you didn't have to worry about too long of a cab ride. But I'm not sure it's the safest because it's more wide open and they don't even call you to confirm your guest. I wouldn't look too closely at the sheets at any of these places.

And just because it's high on my agenda when choosing a hotel, I'll selfishly ask if anyone has ever actually had a *good* experience connecting to wi-fi at a love motel? If so, which one? In my experience, wi-fi at most love motels is pretty abysmal.

For me, La Mansion has better service than Premier & I think the rooms are set-up more nicely. However, I've had chicas complain about the floor being dirty at La Mansion.

Like Jinx said, Premier does have some really cool theme rooms. But I've also had chicas say they don't like going there because it's not safe.

During the week Motel Via is 500 mxn for 12 hours, with no 4 hour option. Weekends it's 500 mxn for 4 hours, don't know about price or option for 12 hours. Speaking of the basic rooms I'd pick Motel Via over La Mansion and Premier as it's nicer and more modern looking imo. I haven't used the big baller rooms yet so I can't comment on that, but Premier has some pretty fancy options if you don't mind splurging a bit. I think one room is fashioned like an ancient Egyptian palace with a pool all decked out, going for like 4000 mxn for 4 hours, something like that I don't remember exactly.

For love motels, my top experience so far is Marche, however, that's in Mexicali. I really like that place. For Tijuana, I now usually stay at Pueblo Amigo. However, if someone has a tip on a good love motel in Tijuana, I might switch it up.

La Mansion *used* to allow overnight during the week. However, I *think* they recently changed their policy, and now all rentals are in 4 hour increments. Somebody else here may have more current information, as I haven't been to Mansion for several months. I think it's poor value.

I refuse to use that deferred maintenance nightmare called Premier ever again after the last disaster I had with the jacuzzi that flooded the bathroom. So, I have no idea their policy and I will probably never find out.

I've stayed overnight at both La Mansion & Premier. In fact, if I recall correctly, (possibly not, because my memory sucks ass), I crashed the whole night at Premier on a Friday. I don't know how the fuck that happened. Maybe it was slow that night.

Anyway, just ask. Weeknights it is usually available. Weekends it is worth checking with reception just to see.

La Cueva del Peludo translates, roughly, to The Caveman's Cave, El Peludo in this case meaning a hairy guy. It caters to locals, the beers are very cheap, the girls are often pretty. They have an on-site hotel in the back of the parking lot, IIRC. IIRC the fichas are slightly cheaper than HK. All of this being moot until the bars are re-opened.

Very, very few (if any, at this point) agencies will send chicas to Zona Norte hotels.

Pueblo Amigo is my go-to hotel. Heard good things about Ticuan.

Many folks prefer the short-stay "love motels", of which, I've only been to La Mansion & Premier. There are several others, though.

Some words of warning on those:

They only book in 4 hour increments on weekends, including Fri. On weekdays, you can generally crash all night.

You have to pay an extra fee if you bring in more than one chica.

The wi-fi at most love motels sucks ass or is completely non-existent.

However, they're generally clean, service is decent & pretty inexpensive overall.

Both of those girls were long timers at H&SL. Never did meet Mayren. Reyna was a bit of a legend. Unfortunately, I did not meet her at the peak of her career. I have been to la cueva del peludo, it's out of la zona, they catter to the locals, it's ok, not better than HK or any of the bars in la zona, if you want to visit just tell any UBER driver to take you there.
