Refering to EE in general (even thought the Stans are a different ballgame and every region unique) it still is evident that nobody really likes foreigners fucking the locals "sisters". A few years ago when the local boys had no money and little perspective, it was perfectly understandable that the girls sought escape from their droll lives, even if just for a night. Yes we are still alive here in Kaz, but not so much action to report recently.

As for Taxi’s – well 50 you are fully aware that the situation in Atyrau is totally different to the kingdom of Aktau. There have been repeated cases of ex-pats (worse for wear late at night) getting into local taxis alone and being taken out of the city to a place where other locals are waiting then having the shit beaten out of them. The locals are not content just to steal your money and watch, they want their pound of flesh as well.

The company referred to operates transport free of charge 24/7 so the advice is sensible, unlike the behaviour of one bling ex-pat who is currently going out at night with 62K US of diamond watch on his wrist – naïve and foolish- the consequence is pretty much inevitable.

I sense things are on the change here in the 'Kingdom of Aktau' too though.
Sat in a well known bar with my Kazette on Thurs evening, not at our usual table, but near to Pool Table observing several Ex-Pats playing Pool accompanied by a bevy of Russkis and the odd Kazakh girl or so. Reason was that my Kazette wanted to see how the game is played, but not necessarily participate.

We knew it was going to be one of those wild nights as the next day was a holiday so all the Kaz Guys were out to drink as much as possible etc etc.

Table next to us occupied by 6/7 Kaz guys around 25 -30 age group, also observing the Pool Table. However it was not the game that they were watching as my Kazette carefully listened to and translated their conversation for me.

They then proceeded to manouvre their chairs around so as to attempt to seperate me and my Kazette, effectively cutting her off in the corner as if to make a territorial stake. When she asked them to move so she could go to the bathroom they made some nasty comments to her directly, including asking her why she had no self respect for being with me.

When she returned the nasty comments continued so we got our Bill and left.

It pisses me off to know that these things go on here and that the locals seem to think it is acceptable for them to carry on in this way. I can understand some resentment to the situation, but I cannot recall it happening anywhere else in the world on such a scale as it does here.

In the UK if a foreign guy walks into a bar with a beautiful english girl, we would all admire his catch, we wouldnt plot to kill him ????
What makes these guys think they can do such things, just because ??

Yes, it is a Girl Friendly hotel.

If you are staying in one of their room, unless you walk in with a really cheap looking broad, they let the girl reach your room or let you take her to your room and quietly add a few dollars, (around 15-20$), as guest charges. I am sure you won't mind that.

That was pretty normal in Soviet System. Rarely would a girl get involved with some one at the work place, unless ofcourse long term relationship / marriage took precedence. Its not so with ex-pat bosses and Russian / Kazakh staff.

I am from Turkey and I am second time in Almaty. I want to talk about my first visit which was 2 weeks ago. One of my colleagues took me two different hotels which I do not remember the names, sorry.

The first one was pretty good with a bar full of working girls and lots of guys bargaining. The standard price was 5000 tenge one hour and 1000 tenge for room. Girls were young and there were stunners. I took a russian, sex was good, girl was very friendly. But the room was not so clean.

Have just returned to a normal life after a most interesting time in Almaty. Whilst not on every must visit list, I would recommend should you have the chance.

The city itself is most interesting, very green with trees lining every road. Almaty is quite a confusing city and even after 6 days it was different to get ones bearings.

Spring had just arrived and the girls on the streets were just gorgeous and interesting. There is a complete mix of people and cultures there. Some girls are very Asian whilst others are so Russian. It was often interesting to see 2 friends walking together from each culture.

Stayed at the Hyatt. Hotel is ok but expensive for the quality. However, very girl friendly. No problems for the girls to come to the room during the day and at night security just ask them to leave their Passport.

I had made some research before my departure and had read the few postings on this forum. It is quite strange when you make an internet search as there are virtually no hits. Just www.almatycallgirls.com

Surely not, but come to think of it, very few other Posters these days.
