These black marks are most likely the results of traditional Eastern medicine - heated suction cups which help facilitate blood flow. Apparently it is very helpful and will leave large, dark circular marks for several days.

For instance, a lady with very short skirt on had a large black mark, which looks very similiar to a bruise, but I'm 99% sure it was not a bruise. Some ladies also had the marks on their arms, and even both. Could someone please tell me what the fuck that is? The color is very "black" not pink or purple to it at all. It looks very similar to one, but it actually looks more disgusting then a bruise, like some sort of disease. And is it fairly common for prostitutes in Seoul to have that mark? Is it possible to come across a lady with that mark in a well respected anma bang in Gangnam, such as "ACE"?
