Let me give a brief report of my visit to Lilongwe. I stayed at Cross-Roads Hotel which happened to be girl friendly. The bar is very small and inactive mainly because the owner is a muslim, so I was told. However, in my one week stay, I had good girls with nice action from Diplomat Bar and Chez Ntemba. Plenty of girls in these two places. I also used the facebook strategy of contacting some beautiful girls prior to my arrival. And I had some success of meeting a young polytechnic student who spent 2 nights at my room with mind blowing, tsunami causing action.

Overall, my trip to Malawi was full of action. Though it cannot be compared to other countries.

I suppose if you go on a Friday night to some areas you might meet some chicks. There are plenty who hang out in bars but most are not high quality and the pros will rip you to pieces.

In Blantyre I had awesome times with Wild Horses or whatever that place was named. (some western vybe).

People in Cape Maclear said Friday night would be wild but I didn't see.

I suppose on the whole, Lilongwe would be boring to the visiting monger, but then again, having not been to Kenya I'm only basing my guess on places like Tijuana, Angeles City, etc.

Still, I'm far happier here with the opportunities then I've ever been, I'll be explroing more of Africa in the next few years (Lusaka, Zambia, is coming up!)

You are very safe in Malawi but only compared to other countries in Africa.

Basically, you can walk down the street with your wallet and not have to worry about being mugged. Except at night. It's not as though people here have guns. They're too poor to have guns! The people you're more worried about are the people at night who live outside of poor towns and wait for walkers or bikers to mug them.

I don't think this is something you'd have to worry about. As long as you have transportation to / from the club you're fine. Keep in mind that a taxi ride is like $7. Probably more than the cost of the BJ!

Some things about the girls here;

I've met some other travelers here, and one, while in Blantyre, was thoroughly disappointed. However, he was overall a cheapass SOB. The kinda person we all are at some point; always wanting to get a freebie, really not caring too much about the looks and more about the free ness of it.

I've had a few pickups at bars but generally I've found a few really satisfying girls.

One is my nurse. She's sweet. She gives a great massage. She knows how to please me. She doesn't have the most smoking bod. But it is definitely reassuring to go back to her.

One is a pickup I have from the club from time to time. I have her phone number and could give it to you. The first time I was drunk as a skunk and thought of her as a goddess. The next time, noticeably sober, I realized that she wasn't exactly a beauty queen. She was extremely tall (taller than me) , had nonexistent boobs though (meh!) , but incredibly, she was probably the best kisser I've ever gone out with! I enjoy kissing (and the nurse doesn't) , so for me this is a totally different kind of pleasure, and totally worth it.

There are two other girls but both didn't amount to much. I'm more working on my long term game since I live here and well, I'm not really even horny on a night to night basis.

As the monger I meant said, girls here aren't stacked like in Kenya, they aren't really afro-queens. They're usually a bit thinner, and have very small boobs (.). I have to agree with him.

Before I go the distance I usually stop at a clinic and get an HIV test just to feel a bit more cautious.

It's really just too easy to go to the bar and pick up a girl.

Or to meet a girl, offer to take her to your house, give her a few beers, then strip her and have fun (happened twice to me, though one turned out to be a starfish!).

Here are some pics of what girls look like here.

Girls here are very friendly, but poor. They generally speak okay English. A very laughing, loving, happy attitude among many people here; a lot better than most of the countries I've been to (about comparable with the Philippines on that end).

Bwandiro is probably the best area to pick up girls if you need a short game pick up. That's about Chez Ntamba, a bit north of old town.

I've been working in Lilongwe for a few months now, and I'd have to say that the opportunities here are fantastic.

Before I came, I hopped on Badoo and Facebook and attempted a bit of conversing with the locals. The things I found were great. Basically, the girls here are pretty friendly.

Online: Those who manage to get online access are usually middle class ladies who have enough income to get internet (not an easy thing here in Malawi!) or get it through their job, and look to meet people. So going online is a fantastic way to make connections. I did it before I came and practically every girl I took an interest in responded quite well and offered to guide me around. The first girl I met was a pretty, quiet nurse / midwife. Whenever we meet, she's very friendly. She enjoys getting gifts and I've grown in her the expectation that whenever we hang out I'll give her a few thousand kwatcha (usually about $20) for sim card, or whatever (little gifts like buying her a 5L bottle of cooking oil). In return, every time we meet she stays over (or I stay at her house) and we rub each other crazy all night. I'll post a few pictures of her, but I must admit she's not a stunner she is the most willing and friendly girl I've met, who has awesome boobs and a nice juicy butt. A great intro to Africa and a LT companion. Perhaps most importantly, she's not clingy; she rarely texts me, and she understands I'm very busy (aka, I'll go a week without texting her without complaint).

The main areas to monger in Lilongwe are in an area called Bwandilo, where the nightclub Chez Ntambo is located along with a dozen or so bars in less than a block. There are BBQ stalls outside bars and it's a very relaxed local vibe, with dozens of hot girls strutting their stuff and pulling in locals. Locals speak English well, and the prices are around $20-30 depending on the rate of exchange to the kwatcha.

Overall, Malawi is not the greatest economy at the moment, having just gone through a harsh period of rapid inflation and fuel scares. It's recovered quite a bit but that might bust out when the harvest season is over and the elections come up. Right now there are some elections coming up in a neighboring country which may cause Malawi to become more prosperous (as that country is more likely to have violence and some kind of revolution). This could be good or bad for Malawi, depending on your attitude. In general, it's pretty safe. Though never walk out at night. Taxis are around, but they're pretty expensive (around $5-10 bucks depending on your bargaining ability and your willingness to walk away, cheaper if you find a local taxi who charges less but still ridiculous due to the insane gas prices at about $8.50 a gallon.

Will pump more information as I get used to the country, along with some pics of local girls. Have to admit I'm enjoying my stay. Probably because I lived in China for two years and found the girls there to be so ridiculously greedy, money-focused, inhibited, controlling, and unable to have fun.

this story does not faze me. it is the same thing as a few [CodeWord124] or murders happening in a given location won't deter me from visiting that place. the one thing that would give me pause is some imam or other group issuing fatwah declaring open season on people of my nationality or a place where most everyone is an undercover moral police, and where the penalty of violating their sharia laws is death (yes, that means i won't be visiting certain middle eastern or north african countries anytime soon).

that being said, i would be interested in knowing how that businessman met such an encounter as i never felt threatened while visiting malawi back in 2011.

I do not post very often, but I have spent the past two years in Blantyre (with a four month gap from Oct 12 to Feb 13). I am now back in Blantyre for 3 weeks closing up my financial and personal affairs before I move on to another country.

Most of what Bogknib reports is very very accurate so I will not go into detail about things he has already covered. Badoo is the latest thing in Malawi for meeting people (just like afroconnections was at one point) , but there are very few ladies on there who are looking for a good time (and most of them are older and larger). It takes a lot of work to score on Badoo.

For those that like massage with fun and in a safer environment than the street you can go to China the Restaurant and Lodge at Ginnery Corner with Chinese women. Door fee 2500K for 30 minutes of good massage tip is 5, 000k plus for extras. The more you frequent them and the more you tip the more milage you will get. They are pretty open minded.

Last comment (and perhaps a little bragging) is about the facebook technique first mentioned by Bogknib. Most young urban Malawians are on fb and many have no clue about privacy or security. I began searching for young women who attend the polytechnic here in town and who are attractive (from their photos) and who choose single, it's complicated or nothing as their status. I then sent a message to about 10 young women asking them if they were interested in meeting an older generous white guy for some fun. Out of the ten one replied and within four hours I met her. I set it up like a date and took her to the cinema and then back to a lodge for the night. She is 20yo about 170cm and about 60kg. Very attractive. It turns out she was a virgin to boot. At my age I thought I would never have another virgin. Anyway I will continue to see her until my time is done here in Malawi.
