Apologies for the delay in submitting this, as my St Petersburg visit was last month. Finding Salons

Unless you speak Russian, the St. Petersburg salons are notoriously difficult to find. The web sites often only mention phone numbers. Unless someone on the other side of the line speaks English, you’re stuck.

I had the addresses (even the GPS coordinates) of all the St. Petersburg salons. But that’s not enough. The salons are located in huge soviet-style building compounds and you’ll never be able to locate them unless you have precise directions.

Salon Experiences

Preparation

Resident guru Doctor Skank provided the following guesstimation about the services provided in St. Petersburg salons:

- DFK: 60%
- DATY: 50%
- CIM: 25%

Since these statistics were unacceptable, negotiating services in advance seemed to be a must. But you normally don’t get the opportunity to talk to the girls. And very few of them speak English.

The only site worth checking out for non-Russian speakers is Rus Dosug. It has a huge selection in all price ranges and offers extensive search facilities.

Final Words

Visa Invitation

The first hurdle to overcome to obtain a Russian visa is getting a visa invitation. I ordered mine from the following website:

BTW, my current Internet security software (Russian Kaspersky!) warns me about a Trojan when I click on “Order Visa Invitation”. I didn’t experience any problem when I ordered the letter. But that was months ago, on a different PC with Norton Internet Security installed.

Russian Embassy

I took the train to the Russian consulate in Ukkel. As I approached the right house number, I saw people queuing up... outside... in the rain. Great!

Once inside, they X-rayed my briefcase. After that, I joined another queue... to meet the cutest of Russian girls. She spoke French and English, but seemed as cold as a Siberian winter. But she did accept my application, even though I had no business going to the embassy in Brussels. Based on where I live, I should have gone to the consulate in Antwerp.

The visa application form can be downloaded from the Internet. There is a separate form for US citizens.

You must know your exact entry and exit dates before applying for a visa. Once the visa has been issued, those dates cannot be changed.

One of the requirements to obtain a Russian visa is travel insurance valid in Russia.

Getting There

Eurolines

I took the Eurolines bus from Tallinn to St. Petersburg. I called the Eurolines office in Tallinn to make a reservation the day before. The girl on the phone spoke perfect English and informed me that the schedule on their Internet site was outdated:

The bus left at 10.15 AM and arrived at 6.45 PM - 7h 30m travel time. The fare was 320 EEK. The bus made many short stops along the way, but never stopped long enough for us to have lunch.

At the Russian border, a woman came onto the bus, collected our passports and returned them a few minutes later. We had to take our luggage to get our passports stamped and go through customs, where our luggage was X-rayed.

Transfer from Bus Station

I’d booked a transfer with Oksana Apartments (15 EUR). They consulted the Eurolines website to find out which bus station I would be arriving at (final stop). The website was wrong and the taxi was waiting at the wrong bus station.

When Elena (from Oksana Apartments) couldn’t find another taxi at short notice, she finally picked me up herself.

The location was perfect. Both apartments were magnificent. Cleaning service was included, but the maid often knocked on the door at inopportune times.

- Fast Wireless Internet was available in both apartments. I paid 20 EUR for 8 days.

SIM Card

I bought a Russian SIM card (MTS Russia) for 180 RUB while waiting for the taxi at the bus station. That was the easy part.

Topping up my card proved a lot more difficult. You need to send an SMS to recharge your card, which won’t work if your balance is down to zero. They finally managed to get the job done, but you shouldn’t wait until you run out of money before recharging your card.

ATM Machines

On Nevsky, I noticed few ATM machines along the street. But there were ATM machines inside the entrance of every shopping mall. Of course, they’re closed at night! They accept foreign debit and credit cards. Some only give out local currency. Others dispense USD as well.

McDonald’s

The McDonald’s close to my apartment on Nevsky was hugely popular. At night or on weekends, when there is little personnel, you may have to queue up for 30-60 minutes before getting served!

The locals come in groups. One of them stakes out a table. The others join the different queues. The one who gets to the front of the queue first orders for everyone. The Russian system!

Russian McDonald’s don’t have menus. Weird!

Nevsky Traffic

One day, as I walked out of my apartment, there were 2 bodies lying in the middle of the street. One of them was already dead. They were trying to reanimate the second victim. To no avail…

This is a common occurrence in St. Petersburg. Only cross a busy street at a zebra crossing. Only cross when the light is green. Even then, watch out! Russians drive like madmen and some guys actually enjoy running people over!

Sounds like you had a great time! Kempinski Moika22 is my favorite hotel in St.Petersburg, friendly in every sense of the word and the view from the restaurant upstairs is great. That view has helped me get laid on a number of occasions.

Since I received a lot of help from the forum members, I thought it is about time to detail my experience. Nothing really new, but some of it may be helpful for newbies. Recently, I spent 10 days in SPB. Major interest was touring. We were kind of involved with a host russian family for the tour and did lots of normal stuff. However, we had plenty of time to ourselves for mongering.
The perspective of this report is from the standpoint of non-Russian speaking monger. Because of my extensive mongering experience in other countries, very soon, I determined that the best way to spend my money is to visit salons. Although, one night, I contacted one of the independents to come to my apartment. She was ready to come, but my telephone line was apparently a shared line [I complained to Oksana about that]. When another woman answered my phone, she got scared and that was the end of it. I never tried after that for any outcall. There are excellent reports posted in the REPORT OF DISTINCTION section, especially by Spangle and GandJim, regarding the salon scene. It is very easy to master the metro system in SPB. With a 34 P roundtrip cost, that is your best bet to reach the salons. However, there are other practical problems, even when you reach the buildings (mainly to get the door codes and the apartment numbers, since I did not have a cell phone and don’t speak the language properly). Make sure you have the telephone number of the salon. What I did was to look for a young Russian male, who speaks English, approaching to his car. I just handed him the telephone number and let him make the call. It worked every time. One time, I got so impatient waiting for a young man, that I walked into a store borrowed a phone from the nearest girl and in my limited Russian was able to get the door code. A word about the door code. Sometimes they give a code like 9B. B is like the star button (the lowest left button) in our phone system. After hitting the B button, wait for a while. The electronics takes time to take effect. Once it goes through the cycle, you hear a beep and sometimes OPEN is also displayed. Another observation regarding buildings: if the building has multiple entries, always try the ugliest one first. In one of the buildings around 11 PM, there was absolutely no light on the staircase. We always carried a flashlight and that saved the best experience of the trip. It got quite hairy when we discovered some questionable figures at the top of the stairs in the pitch-dark. With this little intro, I will give you some details of the salons, I visited. Two of the girls speak great English, so obviously the sessions were great. I mainly visited the photomodeli places, since the girls really look like their photos.

Best Romantic experience:

MARINA in Photomodeli located at Fontanka 109. Tel: 812-948-44-11. (I mentioned this in an earlier report http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...postcount=1064). I went there a few times. The Madame is nice and they are liberal on the clock. 2000 P an hour.
She is a new girl in this facility. The moment I laid eyes on her, it was all over. I knew she was it. This girl never spoke a word of English. But from the get go, she was very romantic. DFK, BBBJ, shower together, generous DATY and two rounds were offered. If not for my Moscow experience of the last night of my trip, I would rate her the best in this trip. Her link for the website:

Very good experience:

ALINA of the same facility. She is really pretty. 22 yr. old gorgeous slim blonde. She is a college student, doing it two or three times a week. Because of family issue, they don’t have her picture in the book. I wish I could have taken her picture.
She was a lot of fun. Great sense of humor. Since there was no language barrier (speaks fluent English), I also acted out the way I wanted. However, her service is restricted. Light DFK, CBJ and no DATY. Two rounds were offered. Her performance was first rate. Towards the end, she was more open to things. You won’t regret it.

Another very good experience:

KRISTINA, in Photomodeli at Nevsky Prospect 95. 812-958-11-18 When you reach the building walk straight inside the courtyard and the door should be right in front of you (the address is written in Russian on the door). 1800 P/hr.
Kristina is really pretty (see her picture link) and speaks great English. She is graduating with a computer degree in June and will quit the trade (so they all say). Anyway, she was also a great fun. The girl has extremely fair skin and not a strand of hair in the pubic region whatsoever. The DATY was really great. CBJ and two rounds. Mixed Experience:

LENA, another Photomodeli, Prospekt Kamennoostrovskiy, building #24 (tel:812-995-29-29). It is also inside a courtyard. Go for the ugly looking door. They charge 2500 P/hr. She was not my choice. Since my friend went with one, I called her back and went with her. No English, but I was having some fun with my broken Russian. She took a shower with me. Great natural boob, great DFK and allowed DATY. CBJ, but rushed. According to my friend, they cheated us at least 20 min. She reluctantly went for the second round, but I lost my interest and saved my bullet. In this entire trip, only picture I took is of this girl. I think, this place probably should be avoided. MUST AVOID

Nevsky Prospect 63. 812-948-62-00. don’t go inside the courtyard. It is on Nevsky Prospect, just under the building number 63, you will see the entry door. 2500 P/hr. It goes to show, that money does not predict the quality. In this trip, both 2500 P place turned out to be duds. About 7-8 girls in the line-up. I took a cute one but in the room she turned out to be the worst in the trip. There was no service to talk about. Let us say, the free coffee they offered was the highlight of the session. What a waste of time and money! My friend had a similar experience with his girl. AVOID the place. Her website link:

Salon Ellis. Nevsky Prospect 175. They charge 2500 P/ hr. We wanted to break away from Photomodeli salons. So we tried this one. However, the line-up of 6 girls was extremely un-inspiring. We saved our money and bullets. Before leaving, the Madame called her boss, who asked me what kind of girl I want. Just told him that we will be back next day and left in a hurry, before he shows up in person.

CLUB SCENE:

Thanks to Jake993, we visited ROSSI on a Thursday night. Entry 400 P. The best experience. The strip shows, both by female and male dancers were very provocative with some audience contact. This is the only night I really regretted that I did not master the language. This place is full of possibilities. Wall to wall girls. One of them was eyeing me. Before I made the move another young Russian picked her up and within a split second they were kissing each other on the dance floor. If you speak Russian, must visit this place.

METRO, went once. You get 4 soft drink coupons with your admission (may be 200 P). As has been said, this is really for young kids. I have nothing to do here. Left after an hour.

MAGRIB. Our apartment was 100 meters from this place. We stopped by every night for late night snacks. There were a few for the takeout. One night they were very aggressive. But they are not my type. By now, I thought they were nowhere near to the salon girls in quality. And I was certainly not prepared to shell out 5000 P for subpar material.
Inside the bar, the girls who were on the menu, again, were not that attractive. The attractive girls mostly came for dancing and having a good time. The girl I was interested, seemed to me, will be very expensive and refrained from making an offer. In my experience, these money hungry girls are never a good bet for the bedroom activities. No regret.

A PROFOUND MONGERING OBSERVATION:

In nearly all my mongering experiences, I encountered a preponderance of enhanced boob jobs. It was totally missing here. I never encountered a single one in the strip clubs (over 25 extremely close contact lap dances) or salons. Most of these girls have an either A cup or small B. In the USA, all of them will have a boob job and charge double the money. What a beautiful experience to handle the natural package.

A SCOCIAL OBSERVATION (Positive):

I found generally people are nice and helpful. All those horror story I was reminded constantly, left me in a hurry after couple of days. We walked all over (especially in MOSCOW) at 3 AM. Never been stopped by Police or any rogue element. That does not mean, you should not be careful. It is just any other country. Use common sense and you will be fine.

A SCOCIAL OBSERVATION (Negative):

Everybody smokes. The non-smoking areas in restaurants are a joke. Atria group can be rest assured that their profits are here to stay.

I LEFT WITH A BANG:

My best experience of this trip took place in MOSCOW in one of the strip clubs. I still could not recover from it. I wish, I could have done her earlier, when I spent 6 days in MOSCOW at the beginning of my trip. If I get time, I will detail it under Moscow section.

Has anyone else had direct experience with this site? It looks like one of those "too-good-to-be-true" deals! Why aren't any of these women on reputable sites like dosug. Nu?

Only inconvinience of the place that most of them speachless in english and less in russian (uzbek native language). With sometimes unforseeble reactions.
