So after my not-so-successful day at the capital (see my report in the SD thread), I decided to head up north last Thursday. I was going to La Vega to meet up with a cupid girl, a young looking 25 year-old who has big jugs. Drove up the mountains to La Vega, enjoyed the varied landscape, and felt the lower temperature which was a pleasant respite from the heat in Santo Domingo. Waited at a grocery store for the girl to show up while appreciating the eye candy. Lots of pretty women here, wow. The girl pulled up on the back of a motorbike. After exchanging greetings, she told me how she couldn't come with me because, all of a sudden her baby became ill. She said, however, her cousin was available. Pointing to the troll that was at the helm of the bike. NO THANKS. I don't take bait and switches. BYE.
Where to? Kept going north, I had another cupid girl lined up in Santiago. A working girl not a "working girl" but one who actually has a job. How refreshing. Wasn't supposed to meet up until after she gets off work on Saturday. Well, after this La Vega bait and switch incident I might as well vet all these cupid girls out beforehand. Called her up and told her surprise! I'm here two days early just to take you to dinner!
Got to Santiago, had a couple of hours to kill, drove past the monument and saw a large crowd of people. The Cibao Expo. A whopping RD $25 for entry, no brainer. It was a week long combo of state fair and trade show. Lots of local companies had booths promoting their goods and services. More importantly, they all hired good looking girls in tight fitting clothes to work the booths. For a perv like me it was a license to ogle and take lots of pics. I will post them in the gallery section. (All fully clothed, sorry!
OK time to leave, and to call the girl for a place to meet up. By now my cell phone's battery is dead. Cruising the neighborhood frantically looking for a place I can borrow some juice. It was only 7 pm and all the shops were already closed. Yes there were lotto bancas and street vendors but not places where I can walk in and plug in my charger. Little different than SD, most shops would still be open. Then, bingo! Asian nail salon! It was so funny the reactions I got being a lone man (and a foreigner) amongst the women. Had a lot of fun talking to them, particularly a cute one. She teased me after finding out I had to get my phone charged up to meet a local woman. "So you came to our country, and you're a player / tigre huh?" Well I flirted with her back. "no no no I'm no tigre. I'm a gentleman; give me your phone number and I'll prove it to you. " And she did! (stay tune for the final part of my report where this cutie will take a prominent role.).
OK, phone charged up just enough, got in touch with the cupid girl. She showed up with, her teenage sister as a chaperone?? Nothing surprises me anymore. Went with the flow did my best to be charming through the dinner. Cupid girl has a pretty face but is very diminutive (short). Not my kind of attractiveness. After dinner, drove them home to the outskirts of Santiago. This was eye-opening. Mommy, daddy, brother, another sister, all lived under the same tin roof in a small house, with no indoor plumbing, on an unpaved road. The family was just so nice and pleaded with me to stay overnight. At this point it had been 36 hours since I last busted a nut. Two business days! Two business days and no pu $sy in the DR? Self-reflection time: What am I doing? Why am I here?
I need to get some guaranteed pu$sy. I am heading to sosua. Said my goodbye, and continued up north. It was almost midnight. Will I make it in time for the action on Pedro Clisante? After a frightful drive on the 1. 5 lane pothole-ridden twisty mountain road Luperon, the answer was yes, I made it to Sosua. And, I got my guaranteed pu $sy.
(to be continued).

I have a buddy going to Santiago and Sosua this weekend and someone once told me of a bar near the Edificio Cristal for some.
P4 p. I believe they said it was right across the street or something. I know of and have been to The Tropical which is Near the old cathedral, but if anyone has any info on it, please let me know. Thanks.

Have sweetie rolling in from PP to meet me at the airport. She is a big girl in every way. I have been working on her for a month. She is anxious to hook up. She likes remy Martin which means she will get a buzz. Women use drinks to loosen up and not have inhibitions. This is a good thing cause I plan to wear her out. She is a upfront non pro. Would like a big wallet. I will comply. She can only spend one day so there is no beating around the Bush. She has family trip for 4 days starting Thursday. Two possible hookups for Santiago. Always have a backup.

Posts: 15926Great report Camaro. You never cease to amaze. A few questions: Did you give her money? Did the taxi wait at the cabaņa? I assume the cabaņa that you went to was closer to Navarette, hence the name of the highway? I have never seen any cabaņas located closer to the city. The only ones I know of are out toward Navarette way or the other way closer to the airport.
P.S. I'm in Spain right now and the language is a world of difference from that unintelligible Dominican mess.

Posts: 317Camaro's Day Trip to Santiago August 2014
Camaro's Santiago Day Trip Synopsis August 2014.
Gentleman I just completed my Santiago day trip excursion. This trip is a extension of my Sosua -Jarbacoa excursion. This brief report will contain my notes for those who are interested in day trips from Sosua to Santiago. Most of the information contained within will be known to veteran North Coast mongers but for newbies who want to explore beyond Sosua this template can be an asset.
Extended or frequent trips to Sosua can get boring and monotonous therefore we should be willing to mix it up and experience some new and different things. The 2 largest cities within reasonable distance from Sosua are Santiago and Puerta Plata and this day trip template can be used to travel to either location and you can be back in Sosua by night fall to do what Sosua mongers love most. Hunt chicas.
Below I have listed my thoughts for your review.
Day Trip Motivation.
Other than boredom there are additional reasons to consider day trips out of Sosua. If we look at the recent past actions of the Dominican government a pattern emerges. The gringo figures or establishments that were noticeably directly or indirectly connected to prostitution in Sosua have been adversely effected.
1. The owner of Passions was incarcerated for a period and his business was shut down.
2. Cuba-Dave the most vocal and visible advocate of Passions and CMP reportedly was asked to leave the Dominican Republic and not to return.
3. The owner of Rumba was briefly incarcerated and has left the Dominican Republic.
4. Most recently the primary promoter of the Victoria House pool parties was detained and extorted.
The evidence indicates that this thing of ours as we knew it in Sosua is on the decline and it is unknown what the future will hold. It is obvious from the aforementioned pattern that the government's intention is to change the face of Sosua therefore those who are interested in Dominican Republic and Sosua specifically as a mongering destination need to be prepared to flow with the transition.
Pre-Trip Preparation.
Pre-trip preparation can include many facets. For those who are anal like me there needs to be a plan in place that can serve as a road map. You can chose to drive off the map but at least you have something in place.
First and foremost there is the purpose of the trip yes that would be the chicas. You can work the internet to include Facebook, Dominican & Latin American Cupid along with Tagged and Badoo. Once you make contact you can whatssapp them and make arrangements. I realize many people prefer importing chicas to Sosua but for me since Sosua is still flush with chicas I have no desire to import unless there is some extenuating circumstance. Also I feel you have more control over your movements on their turf as you can abort on command. If she comes to Sosua and you don't like her or something goes wrong like her period etc. You are in a pickle.
In my case Ms. Santiago was a personal introduction and the day trip was going to be a meet & greet, eat and smash type encounter.
My preparation also included my diddy bag which I am glad I prepared. Since I was only going to be a few hours from base I only took a shaving bag which included condoms, lube, the charger for my phone and other personal items. The reason the aforementioned was important is because my cell phone almost went dead so I was able to charge it at the cabana and the cabana did not have any condoms.
Plan your activities which may include a tour of the Monument a mall visit or a restaurant excursion. In my case I did a straight cabana run. Once arrived I took a taxi to a cabana had lunch smashed cuddled talked and was back on the bus about 3 hours later.
I have no interest at this time in driving in the Dominican Republic therefore my preparation also included the 2 local bus lines Metro and Carribe Tours. The advantage to the Metro is it is right in Sosua next to the Texaco station on the main drag, however Carribe Tours is in Charamicos which is about 10 minutes outside Sosua and requires a taxi or moto-concho. The Metro bus departs 5 times daily approximately 2 hours apart. The Carribe Tours bus leaves more frequently every hour on the hour from morning until the early evening.
Transportation plans will also need to be made once you arrive in Santiago. If your chica does not have a car or you have no other means of transportation a taxi is recommended. There are taxis available at both the Metro and Carribe Tours stations. Depending on your Spanish ability and your savvy you could possibly get someone as low as 250 DOP per hour or agree to a flat rate for specific destinations.
Your preparation should also include a back up or alternative plans. For example you have multiple women on standby or other activities planned in the event plan "A" falls through. In my case had there been a problem I would have got on the next bus to Sosua and chalked it up as a loss. Once again I realize there are those who prefer to bring the game to the home court but it is important to know that there are other options.
Agenda.
My agenda was simple to break the monotony of Sosua, do a day trip to Santiago and meet a chica I had been speaking with on whatsapp for a while. I left at 10:30 am and I was back in Sousa by 5:30 pm in enough time to get rejuvenated and begin the hunt once again.
Lodging.
You have many options from using your chicas place to renting a hotel room or using a short time cabana. Santiago has no shortage of cabanas or hotels and it is just a matter of finding one that suits your taste.
Elysium Apart Hotel. Autopista Santiago Navarette.
This was a dated property with well kept grounds. The security directed my taxi to an open garage after which we went in. We ordered drinks and food and had a little foreplay while waiting. The room had a sitting area, dining area king size bed and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. There was a flat screen TV and the air-conditioning worked well. This was no Dulce Decreto in Sosua but it was more than enough for 500 DOP for 4 hours.
Note.
For those who are not familiar with Domincan life and culture the cabana (short time hotel) is an intricate part of the culture because many Dominicans live in extended families in one house therefore the cabana provides privacy for those who want to handle their business.
I have talked to several women who were eager to go to the cabana without thinking twice right after we met. In the case of Ms. Santiago she advised she did not want to go to a restaurant or any other such common US dating activity but she said "quiero ir al cabana por cervesa why otra cosas" I will say we enjoyed the "otra cosas!
Conclusion.
You may use variations of this template according to your pleasure. In my case I wanted something to do during the day in Sosua since I find it so boring until later in the afternoon. Another option is to get a hotel room and actually spend the night which I consider a viable option also especially if you really like the chica.
I thoroughly enjoyed my chica and I loved hearing her speak rapid fire Spanish because she was so passionate. My date was a petite flaca but she was on fire and I was turned on from the moment I saw her. The time money and effort spent was well worth it and I would surly do it again.
Once again you can use this template with Puerto Plata also because Carribe Tours and the Metro go there also. Puerto Plata is not as big as Santiago but it has its share of cabanas also.
Finally I will say that Sosua mongers need to quit sitting on the perch spread their wings and fly. There is so much more to see and do in the Dominican Republic.

A woman I know for a while here, visited me last night. She is very much into dance and I travel with a bluetooth speaker to play music of various kinds including bachata to create the mood. Yesterday she insisted to teach me the few moves and it was nice staying close to a female body and follow the bachata moves. Two steps to the right and two to the left. She mentioned that she is good also with salsa, merengue, tango and so forth. I told her next trip, to arrange for a barrio party with san cocho for me. She would and that would be my first barrio neighborhood experience.
The woman can drink. I rarely drink and she almost drank one half of an 1 liter absolute vodka bottle and stayed sober. She is 22, white with curly hair and a pretty face and lovely smile with lusty red lipstick. I would like to post some pictures (she gave permission. If my contacts are not Dominicans) of hers -with bra / panty etc but do not know if it is possible to post here with access restricted. She is a 40 the, not finished school but smart and quite into music including Amy Winehouse. Which was a surprise for me. On the other hand, when I played the 40th symphony of Mozart, she was disappointed, she was expecting Mozart Parra, LOL!
One final note, before she left, she cleaned up the room, set the bed right, which was in sharp contrast to some others who even when told to clean up, do not have a clue. Wonder why.
