I guess this page is on life support?

I've lost all contact with a previous Uber driver that took me to what I thought were boates with working ladies. Anybody know of massagems or prives in Salvador?

    Mask mandatory?

    Hiya fellow hobbyists,

I found official info that mask use is "mandatory" in Salvador pretty much everywhere, including outdoors.

Can someone with recent knowledge comment is this strictly enforced, or relaxed?

I was wondering is it better to go to Rio if one doesn't want to be hassled about wearing masks outdoors.

Of course, it's kinda touristy and overpriced, but still a little cheaper than SP, and authentically historic. Was a great way to spend 3 days. Most museums were closed because of the stupid coronavirus stuff, so something to do for the next visit. I actually quite enjoyed Salvador. Not as scary as Fortaleza, and with easy ocean access.
Salvador is totally amazing. Like you said, authentically historic and with killer views. We stayed in Pelourinho too, in a huge oceanfront apartment with an enormous terrace and a private pool, that we booked for a song. A place like that in Rio, if even existed, would probably run into $400+. Certainly hope to return one day.

Looking forward to more info soon, especially from Sperto.

I have no new info to add.
Regarding sea food, go to Caranguejo de Sergipe in Barra (close to Cristo statue). Excellent moqueca and decent prices (sometimes even some working girls having dinner).
The Metro construction has taken ages as the money always seems to disappear. I guess it might be useful when going to/from the airport.

P.S Uber is quite cheap. The bus system is good when you've learnt the system. You need patience and can't be in a hurry. Usually there are lots of hot chocolate-coloured girls on the buses.

    Salvador Metro

    I forgot to ask:

Seems like everyone complains about high taxi fares. I thought Salvador has a mass transit system since 2016 (although not a complex system). Am I wrong?

    3rd times the charm! (Morgana's)

I finally reached this place after failing 2 prev. Times. The chicks here are average with decent bodies. The chicks in FOR charge double but are cuter, younger, and have better bodies. I've ridden in many taxis that did not have working seat belts. My error costed my driver because we got dinged for no safety belt. The monger scene here is mediocre. I suggest the non pro route. I probably blew R80 in taxis just to see the 2 mulata and dark chick lineup. I tried Shela the mulata. The other 2 girls were comparable so it didn't matter. In the end Morganas wasn't worth all the trouble. I wouldn't return because the airfare alone would eat into my Rio fun. Obrigado Sperto. The city is spread out so even though Uber is a bargain it can still eat the budget. It seems short trips are cheaper in Rio than up north. Less drivers? A lot of the budget prives up North are similar to fast fuck places. I didn't bother to check out boites and discos. I've decided I don't want to explore the whole country and Rio is just easier for gringos. Well the newbieness has worn off for and Brazil for me. I recommend Cali for dark meat lovers. Which is weird recommending COL over BRL. White punters under 40 that are in shape and have 80% of their hair will. Do well here. They will be a novelty that pique the locals curiosity and upward mobility.

Salvador has changed a lot when it comes to monger scenes for gringos.

Regular single women. Pelourinho is maybe worth a try and the same goes for Barra, but don't expect to much. It's much more lively at Rio Vermelho, but you have to put in some work to score. The easy option would be Porto da Barra. Many bars with decent food and lots of girls passing by. Always some GPs looking for customers but the majority are ugly and often drug-addicts. Macau on the corner is fun to visit. A mixture of drunks, drug-addicts, thieves, lesbicas and GPs.

You could try the beach in Porto da Barra. It's a good spot to meet local regular girls. Always a few GPs as well.

My strategy is usually to try to flirt anywhere. Street, beach, shopping centers, nightlife etc. If you need to satisfy an urgent need for chocolate bubblebutts go to Morganas.

    Good luck!
