Do you recommend going to Emilianos or Boystown? What do you do once at Emilianos? Go inside? Are there private rooms inside? Do you have to go to a hotel far away? How does it work?

It's just a bar. A bar where some girls hang out to seek work. No idea of your comfort level is, some say boystown is good, and if you want to throw money around, it could be. Emilianos has no rooms on site, that would get them is serious trouble. Girls are familiar with several short time hotels as well as normal hotels downtown. I'll say it one more time, please pay attention, Nuevo Laredo has girls, as does every city in Mexico, but Nuevo Laredo is not a mongers paradise that it once was, as in when boystown was in full swing. Many girls working, many in the street working, on some night the policia thins them out, other night no. Come down, arrange to meet with someone familiar with what is happening. If you want to get laid, it is easy to do here. If you want a great experience, expect to pay for it, even then, good luck, you will need it.

Remember this is Mexico, but, Nuevo Laredo is frontier Mexico, not truly representative of the the interior of the country. Be extremely careful of who you trust. You are but $$ signs here, that is just the way it is. I have great respect for many people here, but few will ever see the interior of my house. Watch the people that get great service, you will see the big spenders, and there a number of them. Money talks, speaks volumes. I have seen 300 peso girls go to be 800 peso girls, all because of the fools that will pay them that. And some pay a lot more, for the same girl.

Its true, that pof girl from nuevo Laredo barely even responds to me. I can vouch that the girls in McAllen are genuine and Reynosa also has genuine girls but driving all the way over there from San Antonio and paying for hotels is costly on my back and wallet. The only reasonable alternative is Nuevo Laredo. Even the hotels in Laredo (US side) are expensive compared to McAllen. I so much want a real date (s) that can develop into friendships. There used to be a time when meeting girls in Nuevo Laredo was allot more friendly but it looks like in order to have satisfying friendships there, one must have to live by there.

I have to get smart about parking because 15 dollars per night for parking on the US side is 30 bucks for 2 days.

OK, want to be smart, save money, here's a tip, park at the garage over the bus station, it's like $16 a day. But the lost ticket fee is $16, stay as long as you like, throw the ticket away. Pay $16 on exit.

As I have said before, I have to cook my own food and a microwave would allow me to whip up some oatmeat quick. I also hope they carry soy milk at the wal-mart. I am going to pack a little George forman grill and possibly a portable blender in a back pack with clothes to last me a couple of days. Emillianos located at?

Here is a photo, the people seen are in front of the bar, which looks a bit different now, it no longer is semi open air, and the doors are kept closed. Photo is a bit old, but you can see the liquor store right next door, on the corner.

The last time I arrived at nuevo Laredo at night and walked down Guerrero, I was harassed. Some guys were making fun of me saying that I was fresh meat. Anyways, that location looks a little sketchy at night. If the police come can they arrest the guys or just the girls? Is it safe to take a taxi, get down, talk to the girls and find a taxi back to the hotel without danger?

They can spot a new visitor in a second, Just ignore them. Everyone knows why we are here, and will not bother you. Yes, guys can be arrested too, but it doesn't usually happen, but definitely can. Taking a taxi is the safest way. It really is better, for a new visitor, to meet with someone familiar with the scene here, you will feel safer and you can get the feel of the place. Everyone has their own comfort level. That bar, since it is close to the bridge, is a high traffic area with people just hanging out as well as those returning from shopping in Laredo. Late night the bridge traffic subsides.

Prostitution is legal but only in the boys town compound. Which is couple miles from centro where Emillianos is located and it is illegal there.

It is the first bar as you walk from bridge 1, about 1/2 block south of the bridge. The Herradura is closed and has been for quite some time.

And, yes, at times there are lots of girls hanging outside there, but they never know when the police will do a round-up. I have seen the policia take 40 girls off the street, in one night.
