Planning my 1st Tijuana trip June 20-22, Been to Mexico before a couple times but never on a full on Monger trip. Going through a divorce so looking to take my mind off of things for a while. Looking to Hit up Strip Clubs, Bars, maybe pick up ladies for overnighters. Know a couple things in spanish but not much. First, PM doesn't work for regular members. You'll need to buy a membership or post a shitload of reports.

Second, RTFF first, ask specific questions later. Virtually all of your questions are answered somewhere here. TLN (toda la noche, or all-nighters) are discussed frequently. Tijuana Zona clubs are not good places to "pick up" chicas for overnighters. It's possible at local clubs but you'd better know Spanish.

I would try HK... Get 3-4 girls and get a suite. I would do a ficha feeling out procces to see who you click with and who is into it. And even then it might not go according to plan. I think when you want more than 2 girls it becomes harder to find the ones that'll be fully into it.

Last tequila festival weekend I was waiting to get my room key fixed at the front side checkin at HK.. While I was waiting I started talking to these colt fans about the Monday night gm they where going to later that night. I myself have been playing down south of the border for about 18 years not to mention that I just returned from 4 days this Memorial weekend full of debauchery, drinking, tacos, girls and sex. Yep you will forget all your troubles, well at least until you hit the long border crossing back into the US (the drive waiting was right at 3 hours this morning at 6 AM).

USA Customs and Border Protection (CPB) Port / Airport Code (to be stamped or hand written by officer).

An off-duty CBP officer would be great guide for Tijuana fun. I only meet one at the border crossing entrance on the Tijuana side long time ago and he was no help. Having said that RTTF would be your best safe guide.

I just got the CS brokerage account and waiting on confirmation to get the checking account. What do you mean it wasn't really meant for Tijuana?

There is an HSBC on Revolucion if anyone has an account from there. I opened one about 10 years ago because just about all of the countries that I travel to have an HSBC. It was at that time the biggest bank in the world. I don't know if it still is or not.

Oh, that was just referring to my personal intent. I didn't get it for the exclusive purpose of using it in Tijuana. I didn't mean there was anything with the account itself that was not suited to it. Sorry about the ambiguity!

An ATM will give you a better rate than you will get at any cambio. However, you'll need to take out enough money to make it worthwhile. There is roughly a $3 fee at the Mexican ATM and your bank may ding you for an international fee. Check your bank.

There are plenty of ATMs outside of the Zona, or Revu. Several banks exist in the Plaza Rio area. Have a cabbie take you to one and wait.

The ATMs are all in Spanish and English.

Just for practice, when making a withdrawal in the US, choose Spanish as the language. It ain't that hard.

Double check to make sure the ticuan has a safe in the rooms.

Its confirmed Ticuan has in room safes. And Art is correct better rate to get your pesos on the USA side. Three places at the Trolley station usually have the best exchange rate.

You will get a slightly better rate on the US side of the border. Double check to make sure the ticuan has a safe in the rooms. Even then I recommend looking into a safe box w / key to lock your valuables in BEFORE you put it in the safe.

Good Idea to be concerned about using ATMs in sketchy areas. Some guys don't care but I'd rather use an ATM attached to a bank in a non red-light district. Since you will be at the Ticuan I recommend using the ATM at the bank on Revolucion between Calle 9 and 10 on the north side of the street. I don't remember the name but they have an on duty guard and full bank staff to assist you in case something went wrong. IMO better accessed during normal banking hours.

In some ways brining cash is a lot easier to deal with in Tijuana "IF" you can secure it.
