The M Bar (Museo Bar) is right next to Tumbalo. the sphinx "Esfinge" is the HUGE Pyramid shaped building on the other side of the street from San Martin (Formerly Tesquinos) near Americas/Hermanos Escobar interesection. Esfinge is on the wikimapia and M bar is the bulding just to the east of it. If you havent been it is definitely worth going in for the drink for the gorgeous women from Venezuela. Going north up Americas turn into the Esfinge parking lot and take the road all the way to the back for M Bar. Tumbalo is supposed to be a happening place for salsa dancing as well.

Sorry guys this is all I got.

    Saturday 8/18/07

Got together with a friend last night and head to PDN (Paso Del Norte) parking areas. Really hard to find a place to park due to the construction and long lines at the bridge (maybe more are parking and walking like me), and the Marco Solis concert possibly?

As Coyote79 reports in his post it’s a little different around el centro. My friend and I both made comments about the "bad vibe" we felt as we walked down Juarez Ave. We looked from Juarez avenue to the back streets at some of the demolition, but didn't go back to check things out. The memory of being searched by Policia for "drugs" still fresh in my mind.

Kentucky bar was the first stop and it was great. I brought my digital camera and took some great pictures, after asking, of the inside which is now complimented by a small kitchen in the back. They turn out great bar food and snacks. Try the chicken wings! Extensive menu including steaks just haven’t tried anything else.

Chapaulin (sp? ) Colorado had some pretty girls and we had a few drink there, but it was pretty slow. Still a nice place to hang out and have drinks and lots of eye candy. I would not recommend going to this one without a Spanish speaker. Took no pictures here, I asked the management and was very nicely reminded some of the patrons would not appreciate being photographed. I appreciate being alive and in good health so the camera stayed in its case.

El Museuo (M Bar) located just to the east of Sphinx Night club (closed) was also a little slow but they had the same group of Argentines working there. Very exclusive place, incredibly hot women. The women don’t work in the trade but if your looking for eye candy this is the place.

Pink lady was good. We arrived around 11:30. I spoke with "Chris" who claimed to be from Monterey and "Brenda" who both spoke English. Both Jesus (Cool Waiter) and the "Mama San" were there. I realized we were taking a cab there, but because I know I wasn’t going to take a girl to the room I didn’t worry about it. We were too far gone so I didn’t even ask for prices. Pink lady has been hit or miss lately, but there was a good selection of cute girls to pick from if your not too picky. I enjoy GFE when I can get it so I like to chat with the girls to find out who is going to be fun. While the girl told me she is there almost every day, its rare I see the same girls on two successive occasions; lots of turnover I guess.

If you buy a woman a drink ($4) you can find out if she is going to be fun or its probably going to be mechanical fairly quickly then take her to the room. Don’t count on seeing her again unless you go there on a weekly basis. After talking for several minutes and a few beers the lady I was with stroking my leg, putting her head on my shoulder, and lightly kissing so it was a good stop for this drunk.

Walkover line was backed up at the bridge a little after 2:00 p. M. I took a picture of a drunk chick standing in line and one of my friend on the other side of the walkover checkpoint and one of the customs agents told me to stop taking pics of the bridge. I'm assuming for security reasons.

One the way to my friend’s house stopped at Chico’s which is good as ever. Lots of hot younger girls at the Montana location. Its not too difficult to strike up a conversation with someone over a double order and some fries. Chicos is open till 3:00 am so its a good after the bar stop but don't try to come too late or they will be cloased. The two security guards turned a number of people away right at 3:00 so get there early.

I wonder what's going to happen to Cd. Juarez and other Mexican-border towns in 2008 when the terrorism law kicks in regarding passports. You know that in 2008 anyone and everyone will need a passport to enter the USA so that means no last-minute Cd. Juarez excursions. Instead you'll have to have your passport beforehand and most Americans (95%) don't have a passport.

Give it another year and I don't think too many of us will recognize the place.

Those Winds of Change have brought a bit of a strange atmosphere to El Centro as well with seemingly increased Policia presence but less Federales. It's been a while since I've seen a pickup loaded with flak and automatic weapon toting passengers.

There's a "teenager curfew" now as well.

....Be aware of massage parlor etiquette.

**Never complain to the manager, or anyone else, about anything. Complaining puts your safety at risk. If you have a bad experience with a girl simply get dressed & leave quietly.
**Avoid any argument with anyone. You will lose. The people in charge favor the Mexican's version over the Americano's despite whatever the facts are. All a girl has to do is let a tear roll down her cheek and immediately she's the victim and you are the villain.
**Shower & brush your teeth before the session.
**Some girls charge extra for BJs, and some don’t. Pay it if she asks. Don't argue with her.
**Usually FK or any type of anal is extra. Ask her first. If she doesn’t charge you extra for these give her a bigger tip.

BTW most of the massage parlors are closed in the morning, Sundays, and after 9 PM.

Also, be aware about Genesis. . .Genesis is run very strictly. . .
**Customers aren't allowed to wait inside the lobby. . .you'll have to wait outside. . .
**After your session customers are not allowed to enter the lobby--leave the building immediately.
**They even padlock the inside bathroom. One of the girls will have to unlock it for you if you have to use it.
**If you take more than 40 minutes the girl will start whining “tiempo, tiempo”. I usually skip DATY for this reason.
**They also seem to have some kind-of "one condom per visit" rule that I don't really understand.

    HAPPY MONGERING!!!

This is what I would do. . .other mongers have different MOs. . .

Before you leave, you’ll need either a passport or driver’s license, at least $80 in small bills, and around $1 in change.

Don’t take you’re military ID unless you’re IRR or retired. Juarez is off-limits to US military.

There’s several fee parking lots you where you can park downtown. You can’t miss ‘em.

Start walking down El Paso street. You’ll cross the Sante Fe bridge, aka the Paso de Norte bridge, as you cross over into Juarez.

Just keep walking straight down Avenue Juarez. After about four blocks you’ll hit Ignacio Mejia street. Take a left. Immediately on your right will be Cleopatra’s Massage Parlor.

    Your “massage” costs $35.

However, there’s a good chance there will be no doable girls at Cleopatra’s.
In which case you’ll need a back-up plan.

    Back-up plans include. . .

By this time, I’m sure you would of noticed all the cabbies circling around you like vultures looking at a carcass.

If you have money to burn just let one of the cabbies take you to the Pink Lady.

But, FYI, all the cabbies get a big kick-back from the adult businesses. The businesses, in turn, jack up the monger’s fee proportionately.

So letting one of the cabbies take you to the Pink Lady will cost over $100 total.

Or, you could go trolling down Mariscal street, which is one block to the left (facing the bridge) and parallel to Avenue Juarez. It’s the red light district.

But, in my experience, Mariscal street is mostly full of druggie criminal types and all my experiences there have been horrible.

So, what I would recommend is to instruct one of the cabbies to take you to Hospital General, because you need to visit a sick friend.

Then start walking down Oca street, crossing first at Ave. Paseo Triunfo De La Rep.
About four blocks down, on the right is Genesis Massage Parlor.

    The “massage” is $30.

Genesis will cost you about $50 plus tip. $10 for the cab each way, and $30 for your massage.

Be aware of massage parlor etiquette.

I do remember Baccus, Jokers, Capones, Bar Las Americas, el Traje, and a few others in the Cordova Americas, Pronaf, and la Curva neighborhoods.

Thanks for the info about what's changed. Every now and then I remember the good years I had in the places I mentioned.

meat loaf - interesting breakdown but much of el centro has changed from what you've presented. irma's was turned to rubble in april, as was a couple of others you mentioned. "chico's" (one block south of casa colorado/san souci) i believe is club laura's run by 'chito' but no matter as he was busted and shut down for supplying **** girls.

i can't recently remember ever seeing a flock of girls in front of any hotel on ave juarez.

by the cathedral, it sounds like you're talking about all the street vendors that used to line those streets - gone, as it's been turned into a "walking mall" type of experience (but the bars are stil there) - as much of el centro is doomed to be in the near future. many buildings on mariscal and neighboring streets are being razed here and there and the master plan is for parking lots, walking areas, sitting areas, and other "we're really a nice town" types of environments.

    Guide to Cd. Juarez

    Hi Chris,

This is my "Guide to Cd. Juarez, Mexico, and it’s Famed Locations. " as a "former-tour guide" and resident of Cd. Juarez and El Paso. This experience was typically provided for US $50 per man including translation services, but for my buddies on this site it serves as my contribution, so enjoy.

Getting There (Cd. Juarez): Park your car on El Paso street near the bridge and pay US $4 for all day, secure parking. Pay US $0. 35 to walk across the downtown bridge. And keep US $0. 35 for the return trip.

    Ave. Juarez:

You are now on Avenida Juarez: No brothels exist on Ave. Juarez unless you walk about 6 blocks and there will be three hotels. One hotel, (#A, ) will have a long stairway up to the second floor. The other hotel, (#be, ) alongside of it charges US $20 per night, but no ladies can enter. Across the street from both hotels is yet another hotel, (#see, ) with a flock of street walkers standing in-front.

The hookers in-front of hotel #see charge US $25 per session or US $80 for all-night. Typical Cd. Juarez sessions are 30 – 40 minutes. These girls are of various quality usually trick within hotel #see. Hotel #see charges US $13 per room, per night, with maid service and television. You're best bet is to rent your own room before buying the girl, otherwise you'll be charged US $5 for a one-hour room rental. Additionally, by having this room rented during your selection process for the night will give you a place to return should you desire. Some of the girls live in the hotel with their children and some do not. Should you happen to get a girl who lives in the hotel then you'll have a great time with her and her friends. No beverages are sold, but you can bring whatever you like into hotel #see.

Hotel #A with the huge staircase turns tricks quickly. Standard CD. Juarez room rates are US $5 per session and US $20 per girl, per session. This hotel has about 15. 20 girls in-front of its entrance and upstairs.

Hotel #be is a quiet hotel with 8 rooms simply for sleeping and no visitors.

    Ave. Mariscal:

This is strip club / *****house central!

As soon as you cross the downtown El Paso bridge, Ave. Mariscal is one-block to the right (west side.) Walk about 2 blocks along Ave. Juarez until you see that huge billboard on the corner and turn tight entering Ave. Mariscal. There is a house with about 7 girls charging US $25 per 30-minutes. This house is across the street from "Club Hollywood. " "Club Hollywood" charges US $2 per beer; same price for girls; but the girls take you up the street about two or three blocks to the hotel they turn tricks at.

One block south of "Club Hollywood" is another strip club charging similar prices, but the rooms are upstairs. 1/2 block south of "Club Hollywood" along Ave. Mariscal is "Club Delicias. " They have rooms available next door and 5 mature women within the bar. Across the street from "Club Delicias" is another hotel that serves about 3 or 5 girls at similar pricing. Another 1/2 block south along Ave. Mariscal are the "Burrito Stands. " Many street hookers work here, but they may be under the influence. On this very same corner is "Club Irmas: " Another strip club with two floors: Upstairs is VIP for US $10 per beer and downstairs is where everyone is at. VIP is not worth it! Similar prices for girls here as well. And they are usually staffed with 15 or so young ones. Walk along Ave. Mariscal for another block and many cantinas exist. These cantinas serve mostly beer, but anyone and everyone is for sale along Ave. Mariscal including bartenders and wait staff at the standard rate mentioned several earlier. Another block south along Ave. Mariscal is "Club Panama, " which mostly caters to truck drivers. Nice atmosphere with a rate of US $60 per session. Every 1. 5 hours a a shuttle-bus is sent between "Club Colorado" and the truck stops (Petro, Flying J) in Horizon, Texas. Many skinny, scantly clad street walkers on the this block and the next block south are trans-sexuals or homosexuals dressed in drag. This completes the tour of Ave. Mariscal.

    Club Colorado:

Ave. Mariscal is an ugly, dirty street, but has many businesses located upon it. If you venture one or two blocks west the neighborhoods become more desolate. "Club Colorado"(location: three blocks west of the burrito shops, "Club Irmas, " four blocks west of Ave. Juarez, and one block south.) This is truck driver central brightly painted in red. Girls here are sexy and cost US $60 per session. Nice location, laid back atmosphere. Every 1. 5 hours a a shuttle-bus is sent between "Club Colorado" and the truck stops (Petro, Flying J) in Horizon, Texas.

One block east of "Club Colorado" going towards Ave. Mariscal and Ave. Juarez in the alley is another dive-house charging US $10, but simply for quick action. One block south of "Club Colorado" is "Chicos" who has about 5 girls and rooms available. Across the street from "Club Colorado" is another location, but I can’t remember it’s details.

    Club Pink Lady:

This location is far. They moved it about 4 years ago and now requires a taxi. It’s about 20 blocks from the areas mentioned above. Again, this is a truck driver location with a shuttle-bus being sent every 1. 5 hours between "Pink Lady" and the truck stops (Petro, Flying J) in Horizon, Texas. Girls costs US $60 per session in a nice atmosphere.

Cd. Juarez doesn’t start serving customers at the above locations until 11 a. M. And closes at 2 a. M. The street walkers along Ave. Juarez work until daylight starting at 8 p. M.

    Behind the Cathedral:

For those with adventure, experience, and a tight budget (US $13) you may venture behind the Cathedral. Women are available almost 24-hours per day.

"Behind the Cathedral"(location: where Ave. Juarez ends or Ave. Mariscal runs into the Cathedral; this street will be Ave. 16 de septiembre and full-of-traffic; walk south for about 3 minutes until you see many stands running east-to-west; these stands sell food, clothing, and other goods. This "alley" will be the only "alley" running in this east-to-west formation.) In the daytime you will see lots of people shopping, while at night you will see many people stumbling drunk. This "alley" is rather large and has about 5 discrete hotels open 24-hours per day with women sitting in-front. At night, about 40 women are outside and during the day 100 are present. These girls are of all ages, all varieties, and work as independent prostitutes not affiliated with any specific hotel! During the daytime it’s best at 2 p. M. When many women are transferring buses and are looking for a quickie before going home. Within the cantinas they dance with gentleman for US $0. 50 per song or sex for US $13 within one of the many hotels. The price break-down is US $10 for the girl and US $3 for the room. Always pay for the room yourself when in Cd. Juarez, otherwise you may be paying for the room twice. One block directly south of this "alley" area are more street-walkers within the cantinas and outside at the above rates and variance of ages.

    The Pronaf:

(location: Free Bridge of the Americas; to 16 de septiembre or ave. De la raza.) Many massage parlors exist along this street and throughout this area (Ave. Lopez Mateo, and the other large Ave. With four names which lies east) charging US $25 per session. Many are open 24-hours per day. You can always read the newspaper "El Diario" for more locations.

    Ladies Bars:

Cd. Juarez if full of "Ladies Bars! " Every bar, damn-near, is a "Ladies Bar, " which means 10 women serve as bartenders and consume beverages with you. The prices are not expensive (Cubertazo of 6 beers, 7 ounces, for US $5. 50.) Should you feel the desire to penetrate your bartender she’ll quote anywhere from US $25 – 100 per session, plus the hotel you would need to locate. "Ladies Bars" are great to drink beer, talk with a pretty woman, and possible bang. It’s a totally different atmosphere than *****houses, cantinas, and brothels.

    The Women of Cd. Jaurez:

It's very, extremely, really easy to talk to women anywhere in Cd. Juarez. They are more than willing to create a conversation with a foreigner. They are more than willing to give up the goods too. Many have big assess from eating burritos everyday, while many are skinny. Some have dark sexy skin, while others don't. Lots of Juarez speaks English, can cross the bridge legally, and have family on the other side in El Paso, while most dream about the USA and meeting a gentleman to bring them into the USA.

In Cd. Jaurez, as an American, the police will attempt to extort you for a bribe of US $10 – 20 per officer regardless of location. In the downtown area it’s prevalent and more so behind the Cathedral. Furthermore, the citizens of Cd. Juarez more times than not will choose the version of their fellow-countryman versus the American should a disagreement or drunken banter arise, so always remember this advice.

Enjoy Your Excursions in Cd. Juarez, Mexico, and read my report about the other side of El Paso del Norte- El Paso, Texas, USA.

Benton Quest you answered your own question in the photo gallery. You can count out the MPs as you will be arriving late. The bars will be dead as hell and a few closed being a Monday. Head over to the Panama Club. With some luck Jessica will be there.
