so, if true, this could explain why we are seeing fewer npl working ladies in 2012 as well as other sws in the area. instead of appearing as sws standing at a certain spot, they may be walking around the area trying to chat up or eyeball potential customers. like i said, look for them elsewhere in the neighborhood, like the nana hotel disco, nana liquid. from my experiences & reading, it is slow in the early evenings, but can get very crowded later.

as the le don't appear to do daytime raids, more sws are around then than before. the bars in soi 4, btw, seem much busier in the morning & afternoons now than in the low season last year.

from my contacts i am informed that ladyboys are the primary target of the bib due to the troubles they have been causing with assaulting, drugging & robbing farang clients.

btw the reference to a bribe, offering 1000 to an officer, is at the scene of the "crime", not at the police station.

another reason some may feel is a cause of increased le hassles of sws is the policies of the new yingluck government.

Free Lance is hit or miss. Ironically, it seems that whenever you're out and about, but not looking for them, they're all over! But when you're on the freelance prowl, you can only find the kind you see in the photo section LOL

Well I beg to differ. I think your question should be."I don't understand why I can't pick up a hot freelance chick for only 1000Baht". I have been to Insomnia, Thermae, and Climax. Climax is where I have had the most luck. When I mean luck, I mean with finding hot freelancer chicks, but unfortunately for you, not for 1000 Baht. Here is an example. Last weekend I went to Soi Cowboy and picked up a girl in Rio. Before going back to my place we decided to have a few drinks and listen to the band at Climax. Well this cutee got so drunk she could not go with me. I had to salvage my evening and this night there were so many hot girls there. I ended up finding another girl for 3000LT. She stayed until 2pm the next day. We talked about this very issue. She told me many guys will offer her 1000Baht or 1500Baht LT like it is a fortune to them. She does not even counter offer. She told me in her eyes they are cheap and it turns her off. She only does this part time and does not want to compromise on price when she can get more. We went for dinner at CDC, Wine I Love You restaurant. The bill was 2700Baht. So guys in the end you pay for quality no matter what. If you want to spend 1000-1500Baht your girls looks will reflect that price. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so to each their own. Anyone can spend a few Baht to get a simple lay, however I monger to fuck hot chicks, it is easy to pick up the average ones for free. To find a real beauty you have to wine and dine them sometimes for weeks to get into their pants and sometimes I would just like to skip all that. Paying a higher premium just seems to do the trick for me. In the end I get to fuck some really hot chicks.

Five years back, there was exponentially whatever percentage less of Thai internet information, monger information, et al. Five years back, there were exponentially less work opportunities available. Five years back, there were far fewer girls working the internet, chat rooms, web cams, or finding sugar daddies on such a level as now. Not to mention that 7-8 years back you had a free disco across from Nana where hundreds of girls went, plus the entire Nana Plaza traffic coming across into the parking lot. There was such a pool of talent, it was probably a lot easier to find plenty of diamonds, not to mention that the girls seemed a lot more game just to be happy to find a customer, as opposed to going on about the price or time. These days, if one is a regular on the scene, one notices that it really is 98% or so of the same girls night in night out, and most of them are looking rather expired or about to be. And if they aren't expired, they want a premium for as short a time as possible.

All that said, there still are some diamonds. I walked into the Thermae the other night, full of Japanese and loads of girls not giving white guys the time of day. Was about to leave when I saw a young lady I'd never seen before seemingly smiling at me. I figured it must be the Japanese guy behind me she was looking at, as this girl was tall, model type build, white skin, very pretty. But no, further investigation revealed it was me she had the grin for. Came over, talked a few minutes, claimed to be a Ramkamhaeng student. 22, and that her friend had just brought her there. Nana lot was great when it was the emptying ground for Nana Plaza. Gals would stream out looking for another ST. 1k baht the rule. Now they make so much money, they have little interest overtime. Very well stated, and the caliber of the working girls is just one of the problems. The new "customers" in the area leave a lot to be desired as well.

The freelancer scene is awful, well, in the high end hotel and late night discos, it is ok, but those girls would have been the norm in the BG Soi 7 or Thermae five or six years ago. Paying those prices, one might as well move home.
