San Jose - Hotel Recommendations

Thanks Hank. Trying to find one of these "package deals" with air and hotel, with a hotel that is chica-friendly.

Got a room at the Morazan for the week. Will I need an electrical converter, or do they use standard Amercian outlets? Thank you for all of your help guys!

San Jose does not get really Hot most of the year because of the elevation. Do not need a big A / C unit.

But If you go to the coast like Jaco it is really hot.

I made the mistake of traveling to SJ without fall like sleeping clothes. The mornings and evenings can get chilly. A fleece jacket would be very comfortable in SJ. A thick hooded sweatshirt is nice to have around the bedroom.

Actually, these small A / C units more than keep the room cool. At night I usually turn the A / see off because it is too cold.

Many homes and hotels don't have A / C in San Jose. My place has ceiling fans only and it is to cold for me during the night to have it on. Their is also a pretty strong breeze most of the time to keep the air moving. Many times a fan does the trick unless you have one of Hanks Hotties. Then sweat may come in handy as lubrication.

I am not sure what goes through their minds, but you walk into a hot room and they have this little A / C the size of a small microwave oven sitting there like that's going to cool the whole room down. That's like taking an ice cube and throwing it into a bathtub of hot water and expecting it to cool it down.

Are there any hotels over there that have real A / C units that can actually cool the rooms down? That's the hotel that's going to get my business, not the ones with their toaster sized A / C.
