Posts: 77Warning: USA Issued level 4 travel advisory for all int. Travel.
On Thursday, the US State Department issued a blanket "Level 4" travel advisory — its highest warning — covering all international travel.
Americans currently abroad were advised to return to the US quickly or plan to shelter in place. The State Department said Americans who did not return immediately should be "prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period. "

I would definitely say Tijuana is starting to feel the impact. Some store closures. Some restaurant closures. Far less people out and about. And I would say close to 50% are wearing masks and / or gloves. Soriana has all food covered (that would normally not). As for the zona, the SG scene is sparse. I would estimate 30 girls. Granted, it was a cool and rainy night. The bars had just a handful of mongers. To say it's a buyers market would be a huge understatement. Then again, we might buy more than we bargained for. I think there were definitely fewer chicas. Oddly, the one exception would be Chicago. They were fairly busy. Why? I don't know.

BTW, Spring Break college students are fucking like rabbits in Miami. They are completely in denial so this may be the best playground for virus denial folks.

So the 500 figure as reported by The SD Union is suspect, not confirmed? My apologies for the error.

We made the last run on Sat March 7. In a few weeks we would know how bad the infection will be in Tijuana. Does not mean it will be safe to go there and screw chicas.
If the evil force won't let you arrive until Thursday, you may be looking at a very evil and empty La Zona with all bars, hotels, stores, restaurants already shut down under the mayor's order. The chicas said HK and Chicago were open Sunday and Monday but there were very few clients. Bar owners were talking about shutting down even without city hall's order.
30,000 Mexicans cross the border everyday to work in San Diego. Some are bound to bring back the virus. But anyone ordering the border closing will piss off 30,000 hungry families. So I suspect Mexico wold just keep it open and bear the brunt of the infection, which would be many times worse than the US, may be approaching the levels in China or Italy.
But the virus seems to be more active in colder climate, Washington vs. Southern Calif, New York vs. Florida ect. So may be the warmer and drier parts of Mexico will be spared.

24 to 1. Might be good plan just to go stay there for a few months.
