To SURVIVE Nicaragua you must move at a little slower pace than USA for sanity. Otherwise, you'll get eaten-up by the mierda (ie. sh*t.)

Tourists: They don't count since they stay for 3-month tours of Central America, at most. The others are 2 or 3 day tourists. Locations: Granada, San Juan del Sur, MetroCentro Mall, Galleria Mall, surfing in Leon. That's the tourist scene.

If you do not litter in front of your house; in front of someone else's house; or with regard, then you are not Nicaraguan (ie. Capitalino)!

The Managua streets are decorated with litter strewn everywhere. Every curb is a garbage can without reciptical. Every sewer and drainage canal is the local neighborhood dump!

If you don't see litter before your eyes, you are not in Managua, Nicaragua, Central America.

Until you have become so "ghetto" as to litter with no fear, you are not Nicaraguan.

Panzona is nothing compared the littering epidemic.

Fortuantely, you do not witness too much grafitti.

Major international networks are beginning to pick-up the new dial plan.There was major interruption yesterday in country. Movistar to Claro calls and vice versa could not be completed even when using the new required 8 before the local number. This now appears to be resolved. All now slowly returning to normal including international.

Now required for cellular calls 8

The international carriers AT&T, MCI etc. were not notified so proper routing changes could be implemented. You have to love Nicaragua! Untill the USA and European networks pick-up the change calls will fail.

Don't Do It!

Attempting to talk to girls on the street in Managua is a futile quest. All effort will be ignored and only gives the girl confidence / compliments as if she deserves such attention.

Earlier this week, I was going to the cantina (ie. bar) with one of my employees. At the bus stop was a 20-something, light-skin, Costena. I approached her in a general manner.

Your "mouth piece" skills are irrelevant in Managua 'cause they won't respond anyway, so I'll admit that my "spitting game" techniques have deteriorated over the past 3 years. For the past three years and in Managua it's all about C$ 150.

This is how the "conversation" went:

Meat Loaf: Te dije, ¿como le va? Me llamo Meat Loaf, ¿Cual es su nombre?

After my employee obtained his "fast food" we walked past her towards the cantina where I stated, "You need to develop a personality and learn how to have a conversation." She looked like a fool.

The following day I see her and her friend waiting at the bus stop after leaving the university. She told her friend, "that's the guy who treated me like a piece of sh*t yesterday." They both look towards my direction. I walked right past those "broke hoes" with 0% acknowledgment.

I love putting a female in her place, especially when they want to act presumida (ie. stuck up.) FACT: Females cannot take /accept rejection which is why I love rejecting them. It's even more fun when they want sex and you refuse!

this is a follow up to my previous post. all prices mentioned are us$.

the clubs i heard about or visited in managua are the following: good times, cueto, fenix, 27 de mayo, monsenor lezcano (1/2 block from statue), elite, solid gold and diamond. the first 5 i believe have moderate pricing meaning $1.5 per beer and $25 for 30 minutes private moment with chica. the last 3 are the ultra expensive, so expect to spend at least $200 and up for cover charge, drinks and a private session with a chica. the clubs operate mostly from 8 pm to 4 am. some are open 24 hours but with very few girls.

for day time action, you need to find massage houses. i only saw el salvadoreno (not sure if it is a massage house or something else) and one located 1/2 block from mansion teolinda (residencial bolonia) . el salvadoreno (next to good times) is very low end in term of chica quality. the one near mansion teolinda wanted $75 for one hour massage and private moment with therapist. they are open during day time. there are probably other establishment open during day time but i do not know about it.

as in my previous post, a solution for day time action is to get phone numbers from girls at the club. invite them for a drink at the club and see if they are willing to give you their phone number. be discrete since most club owner do not like chicas given away their phone numbers.

in general, the girls you find at the mentioned clubs are mestizas blending spanish and native american people. very few look 100% white. most of the girls are young 19 to 27 years old. the better ones at the clubs on average i rate them 7 to 8. a girl that i rate 7-8 looks attractive with a nice figure and decent face.

of the clubs i mentioned, i did manage to visit elite, solid gold, good times, cueto and fenix. the 27 de mayo club i am not sure if it still open. i did not visit diamond and the one near statue monsenor lezcano. el salvadoreno, i took a look inside and did not see any attractive chica for me.

a brief review of some clubs follow below.

good times: this one i found to be the better one if you are on a limited budget. there is a higher number of girls thursday-saturday than sunday-wednesday. my last visit was a tuesday. i did manage to see 6 girls in the range 7 to 8. there was one i would rate a 8.5. then there were another 10 girls from 6 to 7. beers are very cheap at $1.50. if you want a chica talking to you to get you motivated, her drink cost $5. her goal while having a drink is to make you invite her for a private moment with her. a 30 minutes session will cost you in most cases $25. the best looking one may ask for $35. you can also invite the chica out all night. i do not know the cost for that but maybe is between $60-$75 including exit fee and chica gift. the club is open 24 hours but most girls show up only from 8 pm to 4 am.

cueto: it is next to and similar to good times. however, i found a better selection of chicas at good times. at cueto, i saw 5 chicas in the range 7-8. the other ones were all below 7. pricing is very similar to good times. chica drinks are $2.50 - $4.00. exit fee plus chica gift i heard is $60. however, the best looking one may ask for a bit more. also, exit fee may be higer before 12:00 am than after.

fenix: i did not see a good selection of chicas when i visited.

elite & solid gold: you could get lucky and find a unusal good looking chica any given night. however, the price to get in, drinks, and chica is high ( north of $200). a chica drink can cost $15. so if you can not afford the $200, buy her a drink and try to get her phone number for day time meeting.

note: good times, cueto and el salvadoreno are next to each other. they are located in the bypass (road) from metrocentro to carretera norte. they are just passing puente el eden going to carretera norte. puente el eden is a well known reference point. fenix is located in the same bypass just passing the rotonda (i believe is called santo domingo rotonda) going toward carretera norte. the clubs elite, diamond and solid gold are located in carretera masaya between metrocentro and fridays restaurant. the club 27 de mayo is located on the intersection of calle 27 de mayo and the avenue that originate at rotonda el gueguense going to lake managua.

regular clubs: the bigger ones are shaman (between laguna tiscapa and universidad centroamericana - uca), mudds (galleria shopping) and hippos (near galleria in carretera masaya). shaman now gets crowded with girls from barrios looking for good time. mudds is more for upper class. hippos is a young professional and office workers crowd. in all three you can connect with a girl but shaman is the easiest one, follow by hippos and then mudds.

other: sometimes you can pick up regular girls at shopping centers or streets offering them a ride in your car. if so, there are a lot of small places to drink a beer and then drive to the autohotel. do not get complicated thinking you need to take them to a big restaurant or disco. that is not how it works. close the deal quick.

I did visit Cueto and Good Times. Good Times is probably the better one. If you lucky, you may be able to find 2 or 3 chicas rated 7 or 8. Most of them however I will rate them below 7.

In terms of chicas, Nicaragua in essence is a country where you need to develop your own network of amichicas. Most people earn very low wages and therefore is easy to date office workers looking to have a good time going out. Upper Class people rarely visit nude clubs because there is no need for them to do that. They develop their own network of chicas. Also, since Managua is a small town, educated good looking chicas or office girls would not work at the nude clubs.

The 3 ultra expensive nude clubs (Elite, Solid Gold and forgot the other name) are for foreign visitors willing to spend US$200. The three clubs are along carretera Masaya between Metrocentro and Fridays Restaurant. The chicas in the mentioned clubs are nothing special in terms of look and quality. Maybe on average they are rated 7.5 . Did not see any better than 8.5. You can connect with them outside the club for much less. Find a way to get their phone number.

A lot of girls if you talk to them will start telling you a story that they need money very badly to do good with their family or something else. Do not fall for it. At the end, they are just trying to get a bigger gift from you. Also, keep an eye at all times with the girls you bring to your place. It takes very little for them to put whatever they can in their purse.

Activity during day time (morning, afternoon) is very limited and hard to find. For that, you need phone numbers of chicas you met at the nude clubs, regular clubs, shopping, etc.

You can see some good looking chicas working at shopping centers and office buildings. But going out with them is more work than just going to a nude club. If you go out, do not get too complicated talking too much. After a couple of beers or even before going out, determine what you gonna get from her. Most of them are not expecting a husband by going out. They go out to have a good time.

Hey Meat Loaf, you just never know. This one is very special!1 I know they all are. My son married a Costa Rican girl and that has worked out very well.

I do not have a lot of faith in getting the Visa, but I will see when I return in May as far as how that all works out.

Glad to be back on here, the computer has been repaired and I am sure I have plenty of stories to read up on.

Darien, I did send you a PM, hope I am not to late for the information you needed or requested. As is with most of the places in Managua the girls can change weekly, I have never been impressed with Cueto Club, they charge admission for us Gringo's and have higher drink prices bigger girls.
Just walk over the curb to Good Time most of those dancers are 8 to 10's and are just beautiful and will do out calls as well. Good Time is also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so there should always be something going on there.

Flew in a few weeks ago planning to do some scuba diving. Met a local at Chaman at11 pm. Danced until 6 am. Got some greasy burger outside. Headed back to Holiday Inn Select. Great time! Maid insisted at the door at 8 am. Apparently I opened the door with nothing on. Oops.

Went to some older place on Sunday night but pretty boring, danced, then moved on to some Mariachi bar. Kind of boring again but company was a true spinner. Pitched the line to tag along on vacation.

Took flight with her in tow over to Big Corn and took boat to Little Corn. Found small shack 10 paces from water at Carlito's place. Highly recommend it. Two lobster tail dinner plus rice and salad. $10 usd. Beers were about a buck. Full moon. She thought it was super romantic with full moon and turtles coming up out of the sea to lay eggs. Hung out a few days cause of some rough seas. Finally got a couple of dives in. Nice! Sharks, Manta Rays and plenty o' lobster. Girl was short and tiny. 95 lbs (verified on Costena flight. Everyone had to weigh in). Cut island trip short and headed back. Went directly to Barcelo Montelimar and spent three days there. Took ATVs and went to deserted beach. Did the nasty on a totally deserted beach with sun setting. She did not say no once. Averaged 8 times/day! Broke my previous 7 polvos/day record. She says she's in love and that it's the "amor del bueno". Whatever. Anyway, she did not ask for anything on the trip or at the end. Was more than happy hanging out with me. Was all over me the entire time even when tons of guys were hitting on her at Chaman, Little Corn and Montelimar. Had champagne last night at Montelimar. She accompanied me to the airport and gave me all contact info. Says I can stay with her and meet her mom on next trip. Anyway, all in all an excellent trip. We spent 80% of the time busy and didn't get to see much of Managua. No mercado, ometepe, lago or volcanos. Oh well, I'll have to go back.
