    Appreciate everyone's threads and input.
Don't stay at Blux if you're hoping to bring chicas to your apartment. They were guest friendly until a few months ago but not latley. Unless there's been a very recent policy change I'm unaware of yet.

Don't stay in Bello on your first visit. Hell I won't stay in Bello on my 50th visit LOL.

I'd reccommend splitting your stay between the two "gringo areas of Laureles and Poblado" as you call them LOL. There's a reason they are the gringo areas, there are fewer poor guys around wanting to rob you.

About a month ago I posted many of the chica friendly lodging options available in these areas. So look for that post if you want some decent options.

2 Puerto Rican New Yorkers, just arriving from MDE. Not sure why they were lingering, outside, but maybe sending messages to their landlord about check-in. I stayed at Energy, once, and like any building, there were times when the portero was taking a piss, back in the office, not paying attention, etc.

I've got to imagine this was a setup by their airport taxi. So, take that how you will. They definitely had the gringo costumes on, though. That's why you wear a curved bill. To see fast-approaching ladrones! Of course, I don't expect a measly-paid portero to come running out and take one in the chest, but it's strange as to why they even paused outside the entrance.

I think we've all seen plenty of guys that come from the same cookie cutter, and have been lucky enough to not have this happen. I can't remember the last time I wore a watch in Medellin, something I would do daily in the US; and a watch has an actual function, unlike a big fucking necklace.
My info is that the victims were from Puerto Rico. They were spotted at the airport with their gold chains and followed to Energy. Came without a reservation and were standing there trying to make a booking online so they were not allowed into the building without a reservation. In addtional to the motorcycle there was another guy parked out front there in a car working with them. He has been arrested. They are still looking for the other two guys.

Even if Bello is safe, because it is far away from everything for the first timer, you won't want to stay there. RR has friends there so his situation is different.

One thing to keep in mind is when you are outside, anywhere in the world, focus on your surrounding, not your phone. At least you have an opportunity to escape earlier.

Interesting. Indeed it could be that.

My first thought was the thieves monitor taxis arriving to Energy and other higher end buildings in Poblado. As you said, such hick ups do often happen. I waited to be let in more than once not because the porter wasn't there, but because the porter needed some kind of doc from the host. I guess the best thing to do is to hang close to the porteria or better have your taxi drive inside with all your shit if that is an option.

You have definitely lost your religion with that one.

They also have a clinic in Aguacatala (downtown), Cra 47C #105-04. The cost is 50 mil. I arrived at 8 am, and was finished at 8:20. They gave me the option to wait for the result or have it emailed. I chose email. The result was in my mailbox at 9:03 am. The swab test was more uncomfortable than what I got in Florida, but bearable. Overall, it was a good experience. They were very tolerate with my lack of Spanish.
I had mine at the airport MDE, 80 k for antigen test. Walk-in, very efficient. Forty minutes for result, after which I went inside and bought ticket for the next flight for Bogota.

That's going to be a fuckin Holy Terror on Wheels, jajajajaa. What time is it? Fuk the order of the fotos.
I guess Flame is a Venezuelan. Did you pick her up in Centro?

Report From first visit to Medellin

    Good morning gents,

Just got back from my first visit to Medellin and I'd first like to thank everyone for their informative posts. I had a few months to plan, and even rescheduled a December trip when Medellin went on weekend lockdowns, but the Facebook tips given my numerous members were really helpful. I was able to get enough of the right friends so when I got to Medellin I was spoiled for choice. I've been to Pattaya 3 times and Tijuana numerous times, but never Medellin before. So, I'm sure I made some mistakes that I'll correct on my next visit. My Spanish is fairly awful. I can read it okay, but listening and speaking it are areas I can improve upon.

Flew down on AA on Wednesday and just chilled after 10 hours in transit. Stayed at Lleras 10 in Poblado and it was just okay at best. Definitely a 2-star hotel. My room basically had no windows. But the internet connection was good and I was able to get some work done throughout the day. However, it was a $70 k joiner fee after the first guest of the day. The caveat to that is that you get 1 guest for each new front desk attendant as they apparently don't keep track. I only ended up paying 1 extra fee over 5 days.

On Thursday I set up 3 FB chicas during breaks from work. The first was a disaster. Stupidly, I had not made it clear in out communications that I expected BBBJ. Negotiated for $200 k plus taxi. When She arrived, she was cute enough. Popped open some rum for her (the local Don Medellin is really good) and after she finished her glass we got going. First sign of trouble was when she asked for the condom before we even started. No BBBJ nor even a blowjob. After a few minutes I lost interest and sent her home. Just wasn't feeling it and didn't want to waste my time. Cute girl, just too young and restrictive.

Next up was a chick that messaged on WhatsApp from her friend's phone. It was 3 pm and I told her I was leaving at 5, but if she wanted to come over now, I was game. In actuality, I had another chica coming at 5. Made sure not to repeat my error and confirmed BBBJ. She finally arrived at 4:15. Had the obligatory drink and then she started an amazing BBBJ. 15 minutes later the phone rings and the next chica has arrived 15 minutes early. Whoops! Finished en la boca with one amd messaged the other that I'the be down in 20 minutes. 250 k including taxis.

Needed to relax a little with number 3. Again, the obligatory rum cocktail and then off to the races. I had been a bit more detailed with this one about what I wanted and she did not disappoint. An hour later I was satisfied and she left. Again $250 k including taxis.

Headed out to dinner with a friend who has a non-pro Colombian GF and she brought one of her friends that speaks some English. She was also really hot. At least a 7-8. Tried the sushi place next to Gustos. The Parque Lleras crowd was in full swing. Ended up at Gustos to do some dancing. Have to say it was very interesting there. Gringos sitting at the bar with chicas standing behind them. These guys could never have even gotten the time of day from the same women in the US. Definitely some 9's in the crowd. My wingman's chica said her friend was interested so I did not inquire about pricing for Gustos or Parque Lleras chicas. But they were definitely plentiful and gorgeous.

My last night ended up at La Isla. It's okay, but the crowd at Gustos was probably hotter overall IMO. Lots of fake asses at La Isla, some of which were so fake it was like a plastic surgery horror story.

Overall, I enjoyed Medellin and will be back. I didn't feel unsafe, although I didn't venture more that 2-3 blocks from the hotel with the exception of a cab to La Isla. The chicas were plentiful and gorgeous. It kind of felt like a smaller city though, with the different barrios. It's completely different than my prior experience in Thailand. FB is your friend. Just look at past posts about building your friend list and you'll be golden when you get there. I did not venture to El Centro, but that's not my scene anyways.

Some gringos can blend in much easier than others. A 5 foot 6 inch dark haired gringo can blend in much easier than a 6 foot plus blond.
