I think for most of the world, men prefer blue eyed blondes over any type of girl. Not all guys, but the majority. I think you need to adjust expectations for Jakarta. Jakarta is mainly catered towards the local market (and secondarily, to the Japanese and Asian clientele) and thus the system caters to their play style. Many Locals / Asians already have wives and girlfriends back home, they don't go to a brothel looking for quasi-GFE as Westerners do. Usually its just for drinking / talking and sometimes ST, and they don't set expectations for more. Some of the girls I've talked to also don't have a good opinion / experience with westerners as some tend to be more terse while spending / tipping much less than their Asian counterparts, so that is a stereotype you may also need to overcome especially in places like Classic.

Westerners usually want pseudo-GFE experiences before sex. While this can be had, its not as easy to attain here in the brothel environment. I guess this is why most westerners prefer Thailand and Philippines, which is catered specifically for foreigners, and the girls are trained to throw themselves at most customers without any effort on the customers part. In Jakarta you need to do a bit of legwork, and it helps to know the language language and local customs / behaviors, which most aren't willing to learn. I don't mind this challenge and find the experience more genuine / rewarding because of it. Jakarta has its charms, but if you are bringing the same expectations as Thailand / Philippines while always doing cost / benefit analysis in your head, you won't experience the full potential of Jakarta.

Exactly right. Asian guys know how to separate hookers, girlfriends and wives. A lot of them parlay with all three.

Of course even some people in the West are wise enough to know the game. Read Iceberg Slim, or listen to Ice T. They tell you right in the songs: "We don't love them hoes" because we "can't turn a hoe into a housewife". More wisdom there than they get credit for.

I agree. I have very little interest in the brothels up north even though there are young girls there. I also agree that Bangkok is far superior to Jakarta for hanging out in pubs that are cheap. It's a shame Blok M died out because it was my favorite place in Asia. It was cheap in every way including drinks and girls, had young girls, and the girls did not negotiate a price. I was having lunch with a buddy today and he told me of a very similar situation. He had contacted a tinder girl and agreed to 1.5 million short time. He works Tinder often when his wife is out of town. The tinder girl arrived and they did the deed, he gave her the 1.5 and everything seemed to be fine. In order to prevent extortion attempts like this one, wouldn't the best safeguard be to start secretly recording sessions? If you are young and good looking, there is no need to go to brothels in Jakarta unless you are like my buddy's nephew and trying to learn sex from a pro. You can walk around any shopping mall and girls will be very easy to pick up. There are plenty of bars with younger guys and girls where you can pick girls up for free if you have even a little game (provided you are young and good looking). It's the older,uglier, and married guys who need to go to brothels. That is not a worthwhile scene in Jakarta for young attractive guys in my opinion. Thailand isn't so easy, but a young, good looking white guy in Jakarta is treated like a rock star.

So how does that work, exactly? Do you simply approach attractive young spinners in the malls and start "macking" on them? Are they open to going back to your hotel with you immediately or are they more inclined to exchange information and hook up later after dinner and drinks? The only reason why I'm asking is because I've made tentative plans to visit Jakarta this April and my preferred hotel would not be too far away from the Plaza Senayan mall. For the record, I'm tall, athletic, and white with salt-and-pepper hair. I'm not opposed to visiting CJs, BATS, and the other places but hooking up with old broads in heavy makeup at those places isn't exciting for me at all.
