I'm amazed how many people will judge Angeles because of all the different reasons.

They will say to many fat chick but in truth, every bar has at least one you will want to do so why does it matter how many others there are and with about 100 bars plus you can feel your boat until you leave.

There are hotels with great breakfast and others with great dinner so why cry about the food.

Funny part is, the tricks think there screwing you over by charging you 100 peso's for a ride when the real world is it is only 2. 50 usd.

So in the end, you get what your going there for, young girls and more young girls.

AC fits my purposes. I do not go there to inspect the infrastructure or look for Las Vegas around the clock glitzy entertainment. I am not looking for 5 star dining.

The roads are fine, they go to where I want to go. The transportation is fine, the 3 wheel taxis get me to where I want to go in a speedy fashion. Some of the trike drivers are the best in the world. Rarely do you see any road rage. The drivers are more courteous to each other than else where in the first world countries. They have their unwritten rules and code of conduct.

My hotel has clean hot water and strong shower and working toilet along with a clean bed for my pleasure.

There are excellent restaurants if you take the time and trouble to find them. Plenty of available transportation to them. Yes, you might have to pay $8. 00 for a good meal!

Pattaya.

1. Excellent infrastructure and plenty to do in downtime when not banging bar girls.

2. Excellent food.

3. Thai girls on the whole are slightly prettier.

4. Difficult to communicate as girls don't know much English.

5. Some girls are more transactional here. It's business first.

All these matter if you want to live in Pattaya or AC long time. Or if you want to visit more than 2 weeks.

For a mongering trip for less than 2 weeks food, infrastructure etc is of not much importance.

Everybody has their preference in girls but the bottom line for us is who gives us the best service and the best companionship.

In Pattaya if I want company to take on trips I go to massage parlors and select a nice eye candy and ask her. For a fee you should be able to take the girl out for whole day and night. I have done it many times. Be ready for rejection from some if they do not like you. But the majority will say yes. Sex is naturally included and the there is no discussion about price except give money to massage place to take the girl out. When the girl leaves next day you give whatever you feel she is worth but be generous.

In AC there are girls who will accompany you on day trips. Most often they want to bring a friend (I do not object) . It is lot of fun with two girls frolicking on the beach.

AC has good restaurents with good food unless you like Thai type of food. For a short visit once again it should not matter.

I think you mean 'shit cuisine'. The food is fine in Angeles and there are lots of good restaurants to eat at. I agree in terms of cuisine, Philippines lags some distance behind Thailand but sisig is tasty and adobo is worth trying too.

If you concentrate on like-for-like (the gogo bars), Angeles is considerably cheaper. It's 3000 pesos all-in for a pretty girl to stay long-time but in Pattaya a girl of a similar standard from one of the gogo bars would cost 600 baht bar-fine (more in some bars) plus 3000 long-time (negotiated with the girl) = 3600 baht+. So taking pretty girls from the gogo bars in Angeles for long-time is 62% the price of Pattaya, sometimes cheaper.

But whereas most bars in Pattaya have fairly consistent ST / LT rates, in Angeles pretty girls can be found for 1700/2000 pesos on Perimeter Road. 1700 pesos is 35% what you pay in Pattaya. I really enjoy Pattaya but the gogo girls are much more expensive. The good thing in Pattaya is the variety on offer but prices are even rising at the traditionally cheap soi 6. Massage with extras places, like those in Soi Buakhao, represent the best value in my opinion but that's a quickie on a single mattress behind some curtains, not all night with a pretty girl in the comfort of your hotel room.

Comparing Angeles and Pattaya is like comparing apples and oranges. Both are great, it depends what mood you're in.

Has anyone been to the bars west of the Clarkton Hotel on Don Juico Avenue? I noticed from the highway that there were a number of bars, KTVs, massage parlours and restaurants around that area. Are they only for Koreans or can anyone go?

In Pattaya sex is of course very available. During down time, eat good food, go shopping, sit on beach in deck chairs sipping coconuts. By the way, picking up female tourists on the beach is quite easy. I have scored a number of times and no cost involved. Infrastructure excellent, no law & order / bar raids issues, excellent medical facilities, easy transport Pattaya to / from Bangkok airport, compare with Manila! Plenty of tourist shop girls willing to earn cash on side, easy access to Cambodia.

Could not agree more. My "date" for the night and myself always had dinner before retiring to my room. They always ordered whatever they wanted. They polished the lot off, no problem.

My comment was my wonderment at the amount this tiny babe would consume. I had to see it to believe it. I hope it did not come across that I was complaining. I usually ask the girl where she would like to eat as they have a better idea than we do. One girl took me to Cabalen, which is an all you can eat Filipino buffet at SM Clark. It was not your stereotypical pork adobo, fried chicken and beef soup deal that are on the Kokomo menu. I have no idea what half of the dishes were, but it was certainly pretty good. My girl on that 'date' had plate after plate of sea snails and got value for money. This was followed by several plates of other delicacies. She finished with a desert which looked like Malaysian ice kachang. I think she was full and still managed to perform OK.
