I disagree that the prices are being driven up based on what the majority of guys visiting Sosua are willing to pay. You only need to pay what you choose too. The room here is great. Newer fixtures in the bathroom and good water pressure. It took a decent amount of time to fill up the jacuzzi so I didn't end up getting in with happy hour chicks. So I do have some understanding of the local economy but it would need to have much more time available to me to be able to negotiate to those prices. I'm paying retail for some things I just don't want to let pass me. I probably could do better but this is my first trip to Sosua and I don't think I did horribly.
