Super Rich does not give the best rates, along with the one I already suggested, there are 2 others on left side of Sukhumvit between soi 18 and Asok. The one closest to Asok will give you a better than SR as will this one: KF Exchange at side door to Emporium on Soi 24.

I have not skin in the game, I am just a cheap exchange monger. 555.

Scotch Tape and Thais. This has been going on since Mr Scotch invented tape.

35 baht worth of cherry tomatoes cums in plastice container. Fine and dandy. Except Thais seal it with a Sticker, Maybe advertising.

Hard to open under these circumstances.

Imagine Scotch Taping added over Sticker. Take 2 minutes to open.

AND there is also an alternate method that you can use to search 1000 posts all on one page (what? !?!?!?...) in your own browser, download, and read at your leisure, using your own browser's text search tools. Why would you want to look at a 1000 posts? Well, easy to eyeball to pick out what MIGHT be useful and what's not. YMMV.

Also, to be complete on searching, there is one more tool. Left clicking on a member's handle (to the left of any of his posts) will bring up a pop-up. One of the choices is "View Forum Posts" which will produce just such a list. Makes it very easy to see what else the user has posted (as in, "that's a great FR, what other info has he provided".).

So follow the above link, and your searches will work.

Thanks 11 Bravo. Now I can finally search although another guy really said it right, just ask. Sometimes that's the best. Thanks to all who responded again too. For those in USA and close to NY city, Qatar Airlines has option of inexpensive layover for a day or a few for low cost in hotel. 14 hours from NY to Qatar and only 6 from there to Bangkok. Thought to contribute a little.

Like anything in life, the more effort you put in, the more you get out. The forum is especially helpful to those that try to help themselves first. Besides searching, read the most recent 10 (arbitrary number) pages to see if anything is applicable. Doing so, THEN asking a question will be much more likely to be answered by someone knowledgeable. Or don't. YMMV.

Thank you 11 Bravo. That's an excellent link and I can now do a search! Everyone who answered provided good advice on ATMs also. Seems guys on this forum have a better attitude than some of the others. Maybe it's the Thai way.

Agreed, airports give the worst rates. Most ATM's will charge a fee for using the local ATM, say 200 baht. My ATM card reimburses those fees.

A number of years ago, Super Rich would offer the best rates. There is an android app, SuperrichTH, that shows the current rates offered at each of their locations and maps to said locations (you get a SLIGHTLY better rate at the HQ branch, but whether it's worth slepping over there is up to you). But it is an indication of what's on offer.

I highly suggest the Wise app. Gives me great rates and I can have Baht in my Thai bank account in minutes at almost the interbank rate.

For those who don't have a Thai bank account, use the Wise ATM card.

Today hit Bangkok immigration Suwanaapoom Air. 1. 30 pm.

Looked just like recent photo. Lots of people looking like madness.

No worries people. The line moves. I was in back quite a ways, I got out in 45 minutes.

Nice immigration lady even let Foreigner s use Thai line when no This in sight. That really made things move.

Thanks to Jbradberry's report on WB in the non-tulip MP thread, I went looking for Som. Just as described, smiley with larger tits. Had never been to BJ bar before, preferring more FS and A+ action, but I had a great BJ with prostate massage my last visit to Tulip so I thought I'd try to duplicate that experience in a focused way. Was not disappointed, got a quick wash of nether regions, out came the beautiful tits, and to my surprise I got a superb rimming to start the action. I was not expecting this, so it was especially exciting, and Som went on to blow me with great skill. Maybe it's just me, but a break in the rhythm at the wrong moment can set me back to the beginning, which can produce a tired girl who is even more likely to take a breast the wrong moment. 1. Reports are good in knowing who not to take.

Only an indication, due to #2 below. I'll keep a negative report in mind, but still conduct my own evaluations, especially given some members here hahaha

2. Chemistry isn't transferable monger to monger.

This IS so true. In general, because she's been good / bad with Punter A doesn't mean she'll be the same way with you. And specifically, just because she does xyz with Punter A doesn't mean she'll do it with you, or at least not as skilfully. Someone else's rating is a data POINT secondary to my personal evaluation. Mine based on looks (face, body) AND attitude. If I don't find her attractive then that's a gate that doesn't get passed. On the few times I've ignored the "Danger Will Robinson" attitude alerts and pulled her anyway, always disappointed.

In bars, I want to be able to carry on a conversation. And if the first line is "buy me drink", that's a HARD NO. The queen sitting on her throne, not marketing ... Pass. I'm not there to woo anyone. A princess who's doing some marketing, yes, possible. I like the flirting, banter ... Yes, the "where you come from, how long you stay BKK" trivial but does allow for assessing friendliness. I just read somewhere about a girl using a translation app on her phone to carry on a conversation. I've had some that have used a friend to translate (human app), and yes, I did buy both a drink, but left with only one (though Miss Translator did get a lady drink on subsequent visits as a thanks).

In MP's, I like the live lineup. Again, I might have some possible names in mind, but the real indication is is she making eye contact, smiling or staring into space. If possible, I'll ask for names just to correlate with FR names, and I might ask "is xyz not working?" But always comes down to MY evaluations. And why I always enjoy the Soi 23 walk; the lineup is right there, outside, in front of you. Easy to see who's interested, who's not.

And why I liked the Biergarden before its current wasteland status. Always time to get a drink, read the Post (dating myself), and have the time for evaluations. Sure, things could be sparse, but taking some time, skilfully moving that pan, you could find some real nuggets.

3. Never ever believe what a Mamasan says. Remember my caste system thread. For whatever reason I think mama's and papa's actually Hate us. We are worse than Dirt in their eyes.

I understand they have a conflict of interest: want the customer to be happy but also want their employees to be happy. I don't have a problem as I use them for data (who's not silicone? I like xyz, who does that? - asked discreetly). Any suggestions are listened to and evaluated. In Addicts, the mamasan suggested the girl at the end, "she new, no time for uniform" as to why she wasn't wearing one. Without the uniform, I had missed her. I appreciated the suggestion, took a close look, and the girl's looks, eye contact, and SMILE was a "yes, please"; my all time favorite there. But their's is not gospel as I remember their conflict of interest. If you're a regular, you can tell who's helpful, who's not. And getting her Line allows you to bypass the mamasan altogether. I have her make the booking for me. Win for me, double win for her: she has a customer she knows AND she's bringing in business to the shop.

In bars, for the pushy waitresses / mamasans: I just use my "do you speak English" line: Do you speak English? Yes, so do I, so when I want another drink, I'll ask for one. Otherwise, don't bother me. cow chia? understand in thai".

4. If you don't feel it just leave. If girl loses Face because you left hour early so be it. Say you have Tummy ache. I've done this- no Chemistry.

Why lie? I do try to note start time and end time as skilled time management is part of my repeat / no-repeat criteria. If she wasn't fun, then she wasn't. Now, I differentiate between poor performance and not carrying for the type of massage. My FR on Analisa. Both girls fine, I just didn't find the type as appealing as I thought. Same with DokiDoki and neru massage.

In one place, I understand the girl has to go get her kit. But after waiting unaccompanied for 15 minutes, got dressed, back down to desk, and said, "Change". Explained, and picked a new girl. I'm sure the original girl and I were both happier.

You catch the problem EARLY, correct, as they say, "No harm, no foul".

Had a short stay in Bangkok before going to Pattaya. I used ANA and flew premium economy. Business class was just too expensive at the time of booking. Premium economy was okay. No lie back seats but did have more leg room and I had a bulkhead seat so never had to get up when someone had to go to the bathroom or whatever. Plus you get to check in with the business line and you do get lounge access. Arriving in Bkk is a breeze. Just show your passport, fingerprinted, photo of face and you are done. Taxi from the airport to theNovotel Suk 4 was be $600.00. My timing for money exchange sucked. When I arrived it was be $37.75. During the middle of my stay it was be $37.25 and near the end of my stay, it was be $36.85. When I got home, I saw it went even lower at be $35.85. Used my see / S card to withdraw my money. During my visit I had to relearn to use cash instead of credit cards for most transactions. This was difficult for me since I'm so used to using see / see. Even In Brazil I use my see / see for my termas runs. Another thing I had to get used to, was the heat and humidity. I know this is suppose to be the good months for the weather but I can take the heat but the humidity killed me. At least it didn't rain while I was there. Eats. For cheap food, I ate at different shopping malls where they have like street food stalls located on a designated floor. At terminal 21 it was near the top floor and at Siam Paragon it was near the bottom floor. You have to buy a prepaid card as no cash is exchanged with the vendors. When you are done, you go to the cashier and get back whatever money is left on the card. What I like most is many choices, and you have an air conditioned place to sit and eat. What I don't like, food and drinks are at separate vendors. Believe it or not, I found a good Mexican food restaurant here. It's called Cholos on Suk 12. I wasn't sure how good the food would be but their birria beef tacos were really good. It even came with the consome to dip. I also tried the tinga chicken but compared to the beef birria, it wasn't as good. I did eat at other places but they were just okay.

Massage shops. Went to 666 because I like the photo of one of the girls. (bb). Anyways, like most places, the photos were photoshopped. She didn't look bad, but only slightly looked like her photo. Her massage was decent and I did finish but I wouldn't repeat. It's funny, she asked why I picked her and told her because of her photos. She then appologised saying how the manager makes them take the photo and then he would photoshop them. She said all the girls hate that because the pictures are so different and when the customers come in and don't like what they see, they get mad at the girls. So I'm guessing this happens at many shops not just this one. I also tried a shop on Soi 24 but can't remember the name of it. Again, it was okay but wouldn't repeat.

Agogo's. Since most of my time would be in Pattya I didn't care if I barfined a girl from the agogo's or not. First went to Soi Cowboy. Bacarras, Dollhouse, and can't remember the other one I went to. Bacarras had some nice talent but didn't pull the trigger. Dollhouse was just okay, and the last one I couldn't find anyone to my liking. I arrived at Soi Cowboy around 20:00 and left around 22:00. When I first got there, it was pretty sparce but when I left, it seemed like the old days where is was wall to wall people strolling the soi.

Next day Nana. I ended up going here later than planned and it cost me. First went into Billboards. I saw at least three girls that I would barfine but they were already with customer and ready to leave. Next was Butterflies. At least two I would barfine but again, already with a customer. Last place I went to was Twister. Finally found a cute girl that wasn't with a customer but I finally ran into the I can't go because I'm on my period. At least she gave me her line number and said we could hook up in four days so maybe she wasn't lying. Anyways, I was off to Pattaya the next day so never did get to hook up with her.
