I've been reading reviews on restaurants in Aruba and I think I've found few good ones that aren't crazy expensive. Other than Charlies, can anyone reccomend some places in SN? For that matter can anyone reccomend Charlies? I'm not into BK, KFC etc. On the other hand I don't want to pay $50 for a meal.

However, you must understand that many men punch out of the refinery after working in the hot environment, and then expect a chica to give him a BBBJ without even taking a shower. Day 5 and today with Lina.

When I went into Linas room everything had been newly Painted and surprisingly Clean. She mentioned that the place was so bad that the police demanded that the rooms be cleaned and painted or they would shut down Surena Bar. This is definitely not a place for a soft and gentle Chica. It is hard core. She mentioned that most of the trade this time of year are the refinery workers. Dirty, smelly, and Black. I have noticed that many white skinned Columbianas do not like to work with Blacks. Anyhow, we left ST Nicks I believe I successfully escaped being seen by Melissa. We went to dinner as I mentioned in my previous post. Then we went back to the hotel. As normal she watched TV while I instant mailed mi novia in Colombia. We then went to bed and chatted for a while. She mentioned that she had extreme financial problems and worked only to pay off a Loan shark, as she borrowed money for a operation on her mother. If I understand correctly the interest is 6% A MONTH. Almost every Chica I have ever met has a sad story. I believe many of the stories are true, She wound up crying as she told me her story. She is really out of her league in this profession. She is much like the girl next door trapped by this loan shark.

Any way we fooled around much later and finally got to sleep very late. Yesterday we just played in the hotel pool and rested. We went to the seafood restaurant next to the Indian Restaurant near the Radisson Hotel.

A repeat of the previous night in the room. I told her that her new boobs really filled out her figure very well. She is a little self conscious about them as they are new. We had a great session including about 45minutes at the Y. I thought my tongue would fall off, but I finally got her leche---2 for 2. Today I dropped her off in ST Nicks. I felt very bad for her as she really does not belong there. She is like a flower on top of a pile of horse manure.

That's the kind of language and attitude that can get us Gringos into trouble while hanging around the Antilles. After more than 2 decades of mongering down here, I can tell you that us Gringos smell a whole lot worse than these local folks.

Seriously guys, I have many local buds on Aruba and throughout the islands and we've had many goodtimes with the Chicas in the clubs, in my homes and on my boats. In fact, I've turned some of the locals onto these forums and I don't think they'd appreciate Mel's comments. I agree with SL Willie, Mel just got a little caught up and turned out by a chica. The truth is we all smell and most of the chicas would not lay with our pale, white and out-of-shape asses if we weren't paying for it. Enjoy the illusion my friend, but don't believe it.

Please fellas, let's leave the bigoted comments alone!

St Nicolas is the red light district. 17 clicks from the airport.

You really need to go bar to bar to see what you like. Melissa in Club Monaco and Lina in surenas bar were wonderful.

I believe that it depends on perspective. I don't know Lina but I get the impression that she cried on Mel's shoulder maybe because he is willing to spend more than the rest of us.

I have a friend who worked at Sureña's on her last trip to Aruba and in contrast she said that the location was very good from a work perspective. So if a woman comes to Aruba or Curacao knowing that she has 90 days to make her money, that is what she is going to be focused on.

It is true that at first that many of the women are put off with the fact that the majority of their clients are black, but the businesslike one just get down to business and do what they have to do.

As my friend had to tell a newbie who was crying, "What did you expect? The majority of the population is black. Depend on the tourists and you are going to starve."

Many of the women have game, as they should have. They pull on the heart strings of the toursits complaining about the "smelly" blacks, while they know very well that the same blacks are their meal tickets.

The fact of the matter is that its the refinery workers who consistently pay better prices and support the women. Those of us who wish to continue feeling good about themselves because the are willing to spend hundreds of dollars to relieve the ladies from their misery, please continue to do so.

As I have always said, there is something for everyone. We all find our pleasures in different ways.

And Mel I reallly enjoy reading your reports. Wish I had your time and resources.

Was the bar painted when you were there. Some bars Insist on having the Chicas pay for their room through the contract even if they have paid off their contract and want to leave Early. This happened last season at seamans and the police interceded and let the chica go home early. Other wise it is slavery.

I believe the renter of seamans is on his way out and the Owner will be taking over Seamans.

Not sure if it was painted or not. I didn't go upstairs on my last trip and I really don't spend much time looking at anything but the chicas. Overall, the girl's room at Surena aren't as bad as some places...but it's poor location and outward appearance don't appeal to the tourist trade so the girls pretty much are stuck with the refinery workers.

Lina could have done better in a better location, but then again, the management at Surena seems a bit nicer than some of the others.

The bars on the main street attract a more diverse customer base and offer the best money making opportunities for the girls. Casual mongers are often afraid to hit the back streets even though it is perfectly safe....it just looks like a bad area to those that are not familiar or comfortable with semi-third world environments.

The contract situation at it's best is pretty close to slavery. High priced multas don't make sense to me. The chicas rent the room and run their own business. I feel it should be up to them where they spend the night as long as the daily rent is paid. I can understand a small multa to compensate for some of the lost drink revenues but a high multa is more like taking a piece of the action instead of just collecting rent and payback of the contract. Unless the multa goes towards paying down the contract, I feel the chicas should be able to earn the money however they want as long as they pay the rents and contracts.

If I ran a brothel I would certainly do things differently. The girls would have a nice place to work with good benefits and opportunities. Happy chicas means happy mongers. And I would provide a nicer experience for the mongers as well. I would find ways to create additional revenue streams such as slightly higher drink prices, cover charges, more services....but would make these very worthwhile. Of course I would cater to an upscale client base that would have no problem affording a few extra luxuries. The only part I wouldn't want to do is chica management...too many dramas. But marketing and product development are right up my alley.

But.....for now I am only a customer so I will just have to take the type of experience that is available.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn in the resort area two summers ago. Although I did not attempt to bring any chicas back to my room (first time in Aruba), I did not get the impression that it would be a problem. I don't remember seeing any security at any of the entrances of the hotel, or anybody at the elevators asking/looking for room keys. They did have a colored wrist band security system to distinguish which guests were "all inclusive" and which were just room guests. With restaurants/casinos at the facility that they want patrons from other resorts to frequent, I don't think there would be a problem.

At Talk of the town I had no problem with the Chicas for the Free Breakfast.

I don't know what would happen if you tried for Lunch or dinner.

I agree that Surena is a real dive. There are actually some worse ones in SN, but not many. Just negotiating the back stairway is bad enough.

I was quite surprised that someone like Lina ended up there as they usually specialize in gordas and viejas at that bar. However, I have had some of the best service in SN at Surena because I am the atypical patron of the place(as are most of us here) and the girls appreciate it. Any break from a smelly oiler is a pleasure for them.

I hope Lina can get her contract paid off and get on to better opportunities. She really is a nice girl and deserves much better.

we then went to the italian restaurant at the marina near the radisson. the food was fair at best and overpriced now we are getting ready to check out the bed.
