Go to the Argentina forum. There is plenty of information there. Argentina is not dangerous. Word of advice. Stay away from strip bars. Total con and you'll be stripped of all your money.

Thank you for the advise! I was thinking the hat might be a bit much. In Mexico and Guatemala it is acceptable and common.

My only nice footwear I have are my boots. Chicks usually dig them, they comment on it so hope it's the same in Col. Footwear is important to girls. Had more than one girls tell me the look at the foot wear as much as say the face.

Great form, big help. 12 days and counting.

There are a couple of casinos in Bocagrande, Cartagena. They look big seen from outside, but I never went inside. See below why.

The latter happens on a minority of cases, and never in the long term. It's pure math.

Therefore, the only way to be not bored over a time extent lasting at least one hour is to STAY AWAY from casinos. (I know I cannot convince those who spend hours there, instead).

    More Casinos

    Casinos

I've been to el centro Medellin a numerous amount of times and I can tell you, there's a lot of more casinos there than the ones my good friend World Travel 69 has listed. Most are smallish and only offer slots and not much more. And to Mr. Enternational casinos are boring when you lose; when you win money the world is a wonderful place.

Over exaggerated apparel advice, I disagree

IDK about you guys but I do think that you are all exaggerating in telling someone to dress in a specific way or otherwise you will be socially "outcast". I may not go the whole NFL Jersey with shorts and sandals route, but I don't dress like the average Colombian (I usually wear skinny denim jeans, a regular t-shirt, pair of Jordan's and usually with a snap back or fitting cap.) I certainly have not had problems with getting pussy non-pro or pro.

Excellent advice, dressing nice is rule number one. It goes a long way with projecting yourself in a positive way. Sneakers and shorts doesn't cut it with Colombian women whether working girls or not. I have seen on more then one occasion a Colombian working woman turn down a potential customer because he looked like a clown.

But seriously don't wear shorts, or sandals. My local friends there laugh about how shitty tourists look all the time.

I don't think I saw many hats, especially cowboy hats.

It's great town though, make sure to venture out and go to places like Trilogia Live Bar or something.

Interestingly on google maps it shows Casino San Fernando at this location, but it may be there as well.

Expedia says there are 77 casinos in El Poblado.
Yes, and they're a ***** to find on google maps. Mostly Google's database doesn't list all the businesses in Medellin.

    Thanks World Travel 69!

The reason I ask is I'm starting to wonder if I should do a week in Cartagena and just five days in Medellin. From everything I've read, after doing the tourist thing Medellin can be very boring during the day.

Some people prefer loud music and hookers in the casino. You won't find much of either in Medellin casinos.

Thanks for sharing your alternate approach to mongering BrasilSoccer, I'm sure that you get great pleasure from all aspects of "The Hunt" rather than just laying your money down for a short time event.

Over the years, I got so bored with brothels and clubs that I began to learn the village life in places like the Philippines. In time I got brave and would sometimes approach college girls (18+, of course).

Even when they were walking in the mall with their Aunts or Mothers. I received some hateful looks from the Aunties but also came away with cp #'s at times. That's not so bad for a guy in his 50's, right?

As in your case, sometimes you must play the seduction game for a while but. What is the hurry? When we final get the goal, it's a much better experience than what a professional can provide. That's my experience anyway.

I'll visit Medellin soon and I hope I can have some success there with "regular" girls.

    Best regards.

I will also answer 2 of your questions as other member did. I like his thought of numbering them.

#3 yes if you are out at night, you will definitely be asked if you want to make a purchase. I been there 3 times and it's all over the place.

#4 yes I agree leave the cowboy hat at home.

If it's your first time I guess Medellin hotel or whatever it's called is good, but I don't speak espanol and I just rented a nice condo off Airbnb or whatever it's called. I prefer a condo because I like to make my Martini through out the day and I didn't have a doorman. I party hard but am street smart and know how to maneuver around. But I don't recommend this if your not sure of scams and doping.

Good Luck with your trip and you can always pm me.

Not mentioned at all hear, maybe forum rules. But I hear you will be approached a lot for 420 / skiing supplies on the street. True?

I usually wear a western sombrero. Do many guys wear cowboy hats in MDE as they do throughout Mex. & Guat? Might leave it at home as I don't want to be the 6'2" we do that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Or could I be noticed in a good way?

Advantages to changing currency $1000. Usd over using ATM daily? I got a Schwab card.

Any guys use Mileroticos to call in girls or get taxi to girls incall?

Hotel Medellin Plaza. Casa Blanca. Mansion all one and the same?

Thanks, I've searched the shit out of this forum and can't find these answers. Couple weeks and I'm there!
