Generic Cialis, that's Tadalafil, is in fact available in Colombia. But for some reason it's a lot more expensive than Sildenafil (generic Viagra), maybe it's more difficult to make. So I haven't tried it in Colombia. The advantage of tadalafil is that it stays in your system a lot longer, so you can take one for the whole day as opposed to sildenafil which you should take an hour before you get active.

I buy 4 x50 MG sildenafil for 6. 000 at Farmacia Pasteur in Medellin. They have 28 x5 MG tadalafil for 73.000. Boxes of 4 x20 MG may also be available. I've asked around and most farmacias don't have tadalafil, or only very much more expensive. So, if you shop around, you can get a month's supply of tadalafil for the price of a bottle of whiskey. Bear in mind though, that 5 MG is a low dose. To get the same effect as 50 MG sildenafil, you need 10-20 MG of tadalafil.

Oh, and if you compare the price of a tab of sildenafil, which is 0. 50 USD, to the price of Viagra where you live, then you have a measure of how Big Pharma has captured your country.

This is not an advertisement just my experience. I order from JCM in India. My generic V 130 MG arrives usually in a couple of weeks by registered US mail for about $0. 80 each. They have generic Cialis and so on too.

300 k is a little over $100 USD which is about what one would pay in Panama City. I'm wondering if punters in Lleras Parque are over paying and setting these prices.

Could it be because Viagra's patent has expired but Cialis's has not? You wouldn't think Colombia would give a shit about patents, though. Cialis gives me the shits, although I only have an "n" of 2. I know in Argentina, you can get Cialis without a prescription, whereas Viagra in theory requires a prescription, but you can only get brand name Cialis. No generic exists there. That's why I'm guessing it's a patent issue.

Prices in el Centro run from 2000 cop to 3000 cop for two 50 MG made in Colombia, la sante makes a chewable, in Spanish called masticable, I let it melt under my tongue, works in 15 minutes, great for me as usual tabs never worked on a full stomach, and these ones work even after a meal. Now I can enjoy a meal and a chica at the same time. A second company also makes a chewable but forgot the name, both kinds pills have no negative side effects for me compared to swallow tabs.

If you are decently good looking and / or have a decent personality, then you should not be paying more than 100 K COP. If you are, then you are getting ripped off. Period.

I bought a bag of Juan Valdez Fuerte ground coffee from the Exito. Stuff tasted fantasatic when I brewed it back in the USA and I regretted not buying more. You can also do money exchange inside the Exito but the process is a lot more tedious than doing it at one of the cambios in Oviedo Mall.

At the Pasteur pharmacy near the Exito, you can buy Viagra and generic Viagra (sildenafil) over the counter without prescription. This is what I said in an old trip report. Keep in mind prices were current as of exactly a year ago:

"No, you do not need a prescription to buy Sildenafil (Viagra and generic Viagra) at pharmacies in Medellin. At Pasteur Farmacia, 2 tablets of 50 MG Viagra= 58,700 COP, while 1 tablet of 100 MG Viagra= 25,000 COP. 2 tablets of generic 50 MG Viagra is 5,600 COP or 18,000 COP (depends on the manufacturer). 1 tablet of generic 100 MG Viagra= 5,900 COP (manufactured by Genfar and sold as "Sildenafilo" in a small red and white box)."
