For me too LOL, but even then they can be cute for an evening out. I must admit that I never take a girl from that area home anymore. The cuties I found over the years, almost all starfish. Maybe I should go for the more mature or ugly one's. But that is a hell of an effort to change the mind setting, or have to get beer goggles on.

I don't agree that cute girls should be starfish. They may be lazier but I find they still enjoy sex as long as chemistry is working.

There is no reason why pretty girls would not like sex, where ugly ones do.

While in Ubon, have a meal at the loud restaurant / music venue in front of Srisomthai hotel, with a band after 10 pm at the West end of Suriyat street. Don't know if it still exist, but the name of the place is something with "Pbu" (Crab). They used to have some cuty waitresses eager to sit down with you and have a few beers or whisky for a tip, and may very well leave you their phone number, provided you can handle sone minimum Thai. Over the years I have found that if I take someone that I do not particularly fancy, even beer goggles do not help. My "little friend" just refuses to do what is expected of him.

I was sitting in a bar in Soi samphan as you know. There was a freelance girl walking up and down the Soi at night time and standing next to the bars looking for a man later on the night I was go pass the night club at the back of Charoen hotel same as Tawan Daeng I just forgot the name and she was in the line up to go in side so there would be some in side looking as this was now about 12:30 am and all the bars was close.

Sure man. Anyone can be very wrong when it comes to guessing. Actual facts are a lot more useful. I certainly do not know where you were.

So you were not getting hookers or other girls to go with you from inside Tawan Daeng. That is what I was asking about. You merely guess what might be possible. Anyway I was hoping Wild Bill would tell us more about his actual experiences in Tawan Daeng too.

In Udon Tawan Daeng disco you will find a number of BG's after work nowadays as there is a midnight curfew for all bars on Soi Samphan. But you can imagine that are those who were not barfined that night so YMMV. And even then watch out for those having a thai boyfriend. Last time I was there in September, over the days I saw some FL's walking down Soi Samphan. The bar next to Day & Night is an FL only bar, but they try to rip you for lady drinks and barfine as well. Sometimes a 6. 5/10 cutie inside. Will check out again in 3 weeks time.

Did you actually try picking up Thai girls in Tawan Daeng. Titanio suggested below that this was not advisable and likely difficult for a Farang on Thai territory. I have been to Tawan Daeng elsewhere but always took the girls with me.

Non P4P Girls would likely be too shy to go with a Farang in a place like this as other Thais would look on her as being a hooker. I did not expect hookers to be at Tawan Daeng in working mode, but correct me if I am wrong.

Why Udon? I am four days into my first visit to Udon Thani and am now able to answer the question. The quality of the girls is off the charts: for proof, go to the night market near the train station, or the Yellow Bird disco, or to the Taewan Deng Pub. The availability is spectacular. The competition is low, meaning that the prices are low. Foreigner visitors don't seem to come here very much judging by my discussions with bar staff and my own personal observations, e. G. , last night a spent a few hours as the only customer in one of the first bars you see in Nutty Park; I opened my wallet and bought the five girls (including a Korean-looking beauty) a few rounds of drinks. And when I returned a few hours later to take my Korean-looking friend to Yellow Bird for a twirl, I learned that I had been one of only three customers that day (and easily the biggest spender). Why Udon? Three words: cost, availability, quality. And the weather is awesome at least at this time of year: low humidity, gentle breeze, and not blistering hot. Oh yes, and the traffic is not impossible and the accommodation costs are low, plus the flights to and from Udon are dirt cheap.
