Some of you that are there how is Burgos? Anything going on? Last photos that were posted it looked dead. I've search YouTube as someone is always posting but as of late all the videos are too old or filmed in daytime which is useless. I may have found a roundabout way in next month, I'm still looking into it. Any recent info on the GoGo bar situation or freelancers would be appreciated.

More Sandles On the Ground. Greenbelt. Almost everything is closed. A few of the high-end resto's at the G3 entrance area are open for outdoor seating. Other than that, its another ghosted area on all floors. The famed Starbucks / HC area is closed. I'd like to say for remodeling, but not sure. In that outside courtyard area there is a small Milktea place and some chairs to sit. You place an order and pay for it, a girl walkie-talkie's your order to somewhere, and 10 minutes later another gal drops your 'takeout' order with you and then she disappears. I saw only 1 outdoor resto open on the second floor. However the mall is open, complete with security guards. Street traffic is very light on Makati Avenue between Greenbelt and Glorietta.

Had a walk through here today, the mall bit is now ready, though only a few high end stores are actually open. There were queues 20 people deep just to get in Louis Vuitton, and some people had full bags from other designer stores, which had equally big queues.

It would seem that Havana is indeed gone for good and replaced by a Wild Flour Cafe. Starbucks seems to be returning. The bars on the other side are also replaced by cafes equally as nondescript. Tragedy for late night drinking and sight seeing (should we ever get out of curfew).

Far left in the pic is / was Go Bananas, P Burgos corner Mercedes St. Then to the right Dimples, Rascals, Lokal Hostel, and the former Coyote Ugly (became Bunk 5021 Hostel, where the sign reads 5021 - P Burgos). Other than the street light the only thing with electricity is across the street at the Family Mart.

P Burgos looks worse every time I see an updated photo. Here's one from better times: Blush was one of my favorite haunts along with Ivory on the corner; plus, the amazing Tess, a Filipina born to please.

A Colorado man was arrested last week on a first-degree murder charge in the death of his wife after police recorded him telling his ex-wife of the killing, according to an affidavit signed by a Colorado detective.

Dane Kallungi, 37, was arrested on June 16 in New Mexico after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was booked into a Colorado jail on Monday, accused of first-degree murder in the killing of his 28-year-old wife, Jepsy Kallungi. The two-year investigation ended with his arrest after audio of him telling his ex-wife, Alaine Kallungi, that he'the killed Jepsy two years prior was heard by police, according to an affidavit obtained by Oxygen.com.

On March 26, Dane Kallungi, who had moved to California, allegedly told Alaine over lunch while he was back in Colorado Springs that he had killed Jepsy, the affidavit states; she then told the police what he'the said to her that day. Later, a detective recorded a phone conversation between the two where Dane Kallungi explained details of the killing further, according to the affidavit. He allegedly said that at the time of the killing, he was "just trying to literally get the words from coming out of her mouth. "

"It looked like I did some damage and I freaked out, and it looked like she was suffering," the affidavit quotes him as saying. "I put her on the floor and it was like there was still some kind of breathing going on, even though she was gone and I just, just regretted that. "

Jepsy Kallungi, 28, was first reported missing by her family on April 4, 2019. The affidavit states that on March 20,2019, Dane Kallungi allegedly attacked her after she came home after a rendezvous with a soldier in Fort Carson; she had a sexual relationship with the other man, the affidavit states.

"Information gathered during this investigation suggests that Dane Kallungi strangled Jepsy Kallungi during an act of domestic violence, causing her to be severely injured," the affidavit states.

A 911 call was made from Jepsy's phone at 10:30 pm The night she vanished but was immediately hung up, according to the document. Dane Kallungi had put the body into the trunk of his vehicle, took his son to school the following morning, then went to work, the affidavit states.

Jepsy's body was later buried in a remote area in Teller County in a "clandestine grave," police said.

Authorities executed around three dozen search warrants during the two-year investigation, they said, and conducted multiple interviews that led them to identify Kallungi as the primary suspect in the killing.

Detectives allegedly recovered "numerous items of physical evidence," during their searches, according to a press release from the department earlier this month.

Jepsy, who was originally from the Philippines, moved to the USA In 2017 after meeting Dane Kallungi online, her mother said.

Kellungi faces life in prison if he is convicted of first-degree murder in his wife's death.

Lips is bar that replaced Kojax, it opened about a month ago. Ventured in there on Friday night.

It's not a Gogo as far as I could see but closest to one now on / near Burgos. Has a good pool table, there were plenty of pretty girls in there but did not get accosted by anyone looking for bar fine either, this may have been awkward time we arrived (near closing) or I may not be handsome anymore from all the additional COVID pounds. Owner / manager seemed sound enough guy when he came over for quick chat as hadn't been in before.

While it's not Kojax, welcome addition to the area. Appreciate photos shared earlier in thread are the reality of Burgos at the moment but it's not all negative. Howzat has remained open throughout, Tequileria has been bought out, refurbished and is open again. Tickles has been refurbished but not opened again yet, I don't think it will be Tickles, but someone has spent some cash there. Crazy Horse is currently being refurbished also, I don't think it'll be a Gogo again, it looks very much like it'll be a bar, very white and blue. There is either tiled stage where stage used to be or they've turned it into a kitchen. It also looks like one of the other bars has bought Ringside building as someone is using it to store bottles.
