The Tinder premium plan is somewhat worthless though they charge 19.99 per month, which does not allow you to view woman who send you 'likes'. Instead, tinder wants you to buy the Gold membership, which does allow this feature. This would be an additional $10 per month. I recommend googling tinder to find out the subtle distinction between these payment categories. In One article I read, the owner of a Tinder could not even justify buying the premium package.

Most ladyboys on tinder appear to announce their status but not all. I was looking at a photo that someone sent to me last night and wonder if she is actually a he. Something about her pictured anatomy particularly 'her' taut abdomen and midriff seems a bit too tight. But other than that dubious individual, I have not received any responses in the the last few weeks worth pursuing. And your right, 23 of those 25 you noted who 'like' you are prob lb"s.

Interesting that I just reinstalled the Tinder app on my phone due to fairly high praise and success with it from a visiting friend starting from the first couple of hours he used it. The photos and video clips of his Matches looked really nice and they did not appear to be ladyboys. He had a couple of STs with 2 of them at 1500 baht each and he says they turned out fine. For perspective, he is a nice guy who looks older than me (65), bald and overweight.

So far in my first couple of days right swiping hundreds of likely nearby prospects I have gotten exactly 1 Match who, just as it was when I first tried this damn thing a couple of years ago, appears more like a ladyboy the closer I scrutinize her/his photo and sent even more signals for it in our brief Line chat. LOL.

Good luck, bad luck, I have no idea. If Tinder is the same for me as the more traditional dating sites, the pattern for me is I get little or no good results when I click Interested first. Or in the case of Tinder when I right swipe first. Virtually all of my good experiences happen when the girl has clicked Interested in me first.

I see I have 25 Likes on Tinder now. But since all but 1 of them were right swipes of my photo and profile without me right swiping theirs as well for a Match, I can't view them without becoming a paid Premium member. And since I mostly only have good experiences with online meet ups who click on me first I guess I will have to pony up a Premium fee some day to satisfy my curiousity. With years of fun reading and following things at this site maybe its time for me to contribute a bit again. Just finished a total of 7-8 days of work and pleasure in Bangkok. It was my first ever visit to Thailand. During a transit I created a profile at TC, paid the feed, uploaded a decent picture and waited. Nothing happened of course. I started writing women in Bangkok ages 18-29. A nice short polite message. To my very big surprise 1 in 5 would probably answer. I typically suggested right away that we continued talking at an app called LINE which seems to be the thing here. The score: I had sex with 5 woman including af 25 year old virgin. The rest was aged 19, 22, 29 and around 30 (can't remember). I should add that I look late 40 but few years older (wrote 49 in profile as there seem to be a psychological barrier around 50). She never asked anything though and I gave her 1000 baht in the morning. She looked happy and was happy to come back. None of these woman seemed like pros or even semi-pro. They really gave the impression they were looking for a relationship. In all honesty I tried to be careful not to indicate that I was looking for marriage. Few things stood out: All of these women clear had a strong preference for the Western (white?) male. 3 had had a previous 3-6 months long relationship with European men. 1 maybe 2 had a child. In all cases we had sex on the first date.

None of these women were really stunners or classic Thai beauties. I choose to write those with funny ugly glasses, chubby or not smiling. Thinking they probably did not get a lot of attention. Well, later glasses got off and smiles were big.

IMHO Thai Friendly works very well in Thailand. A few years back Badoo and Tinder were pretty good, even WeChat was reasonably good. But I believe all these have gone down the drain now. That has been my personal experience.

Any BKK expats care to confirm or refute?

Tinder is good and Thai Friendly is good still have to separate the wheat from the chaff though.

IMHO Thai Friendly works very well in Thailand. A few years back Badoo and Tinder were pretty good, even WeChat was reasonably good. But I believe all these have gone down the drain now. That has been my personal experience.

Well, first I have to say I agree with you regarding LB. But for me Tinder worked out really fine last year. Hooked up with some really cute (petite and with some curves) girls. Maybe I was just lucky, but I will give it a new try on my next trip in May or June. Wish a happy hunting.

Good to know. I haven't tried a girl at Kasalong for several months, maybe more than a year. I would give one a try again. But, as I said, the blowjob had better be one of the best I've gotten in a year to justify Pay Upfront or I won't bother to go there again unless I can Pay After. And I've gotten some damn good ones in the past year.

If it is as bad as the one Mdemde got from the 7-Heaven scammer, I will have no problem asking for a refund. And, if not given, I would donate an extra hour of my time standing outside Kasalong Bar (or any Pay Upfront BJ Bar where that happened) warning fellow punters that this place is a Rip Off, Avoid. Or until I get my refund, whichever comes first.

In the past I have done exactly that with a Go-Go bar in Soi Cowboy and one in Patpong to very positive results. However, I would not stand off against a drawn gun. In that case, I'd call the cops.

With that in mind, it's great to hear the shop lost a lot of business defending and protecting that little scammer. I hope they took all of the refund out of her portion of the Pay Upfront bill. I don't recall Paying Upfront at a BJ Bar in the past. But I can tell you that unless the BJ that follows me Paying Upfront is one of the best I have ever experienced in a year, I would never go back to such a shop a second time.

Trip report from Nana plaza.

Note: I didn't get any action on this night, if you're just looking for that info, you can skip this post.

Arrived at Nana plaza fairly late 11:30 pm or so after a long, very hot day. Wasn't planning on getting any action but to check the place and ladies out for the next round in a night or two when I'd be back and have some beers and a show.

Rainbow ground level. First stop was Rainbow ground level on the right. Was ushered in to a seat and made to buy a drink immediately, but for some reason it took the waitress like 5 minutes to bring my beer. Being my first stop of the night I was looking to get a feel of the quality. I didn't think there was much special here. Very mid range looking gogo girls, but lots of shapes and sizes. Only about 12 girls on stage, and they were not rotating out too much, just a few here or there. I saw zero girls come off stage to talk to customers or be BF'ed. Was hoping for topless but nothing. Not much reason to stay but grabbed another beer, slammed it, and moved on.

Angelwitch. Next stop is Angelwitch, I tend to like this place, boobs out, good girls, and the show can be fun to watch, and its not too sleazy or pushy as some gogos. Overall, nothing too interesting, but better than Rainbow 1, although less girls. This is just when of the better chill spots to hang out I think, plus the girls are always at fairly good. Nothing stood out though and moved on.

Rainbow 4 - They really push the Japanese look hard here, and lots of Japanese patrons in the building. Overall, easily, no questions asked, the best looking girls at any gogo I in Nana. That is overall, not each individually. Lots of Japanese-styled girls too, that's not really my thing, but they did look damn good and I notched it down for later. When I got there there were topless girls, but that ended fairly quickly. I was here for a while checking out the wares, it really was much better than the others. Lots of girls hanging out in the tables and standard off the stage too, which bodes well IMO. Def made a not to come back here when I was ready later in my trip. Too numerous girls that looked great to even count.

Billboard. This place is the fun spot. It's more a dance club atmosphere than a boring gogo. I could talk it up a while, I'd say the ladies here were second to Rainbow 4, its great that they have one area where the girls are naked, and you're not pressed to constantly get drinks here as much as its more of a fun atmosphere with girls dancing than it is a standard gogo. At this point, I've had a lot of beers, I'm really tired, but finally getting some naked girls is a huge plus, and being able to chill at a table and such and just take it in was refreshing. Again, no girls that stood out here wildly on looks, but overall they were quite good and I would have been happy to BF plenty of them. Had my last beer and decided to peak in a few spots.

Quick looks. Peaked into Spanky's (because they were trying to slap me with that thing), meh. Same with Rainbow 3, just nothing worth going to and the place was half deserted. Browsed around the smaller gogos right in the area, and all the same, basically empty with just a handful of girls and blaring loud music for the zero people spending money inside. Guess there's a reason the pretty ladies are so prevalent at the bigger gogos, even they wouldn't want to be in these.

Stumbled back to my hotel, very late.
