I have not been to Tanjung Balai before and intend to go there probably end of this month. In fact this will be my first time going to Indonesia. So don't mind me asking whether how the girls look like? Do they have Chinese indonesians there? Or whether they simply look like those indonesian maids (no offence). Hi guys, just came back from a 1day 1night trip, pretty close to the last half day trip I just had. Stayed at the new wing of maximillian hotel, cool as eveything is new and nice. I made my monthly pilgrimage to TBK on the above dates.

Caught the 2. 20 pm ferry last Friday, out of Harbourfront, arrived at TBK ferry terminal 1 hour 45 minutes later. My passport was slightly shy of the 6 months validity requirement (3 days to be exact) and in anticipation of immigration issues, I slid SGD10. 00 into my passport for "smooth processing", after consultation with Kofa. However, the greedy immigration officer wanted an additional "red note" and did not budge on his request. Reluctantly, I parted with an additional SGD10. 00 and was on my way, so I thought. The Customs officer, on seeing what transpired at the immigration counter stopped me and "guided me to their negotiation room". After a through check of my bag, I could see the disappointment in the custom officer's eyes, as I walked away without paying any "duty". I found it quite hilarious and wanted to laugh, but withheld myself, out of "respect" for those officers.

20 minutes have gone past and I am now in Kofa's car, proceeding to Maximilian Hotel. It was Indonesian National Day that day, so I was greeted by a sea of red and white flags, along the main street of TBK.

Kofa's girlfriend & nephew were in his Kijang as well, and I asked Kofa whether he was free for a drive around the outskirts of TBK. Kofa mentioned that I was his only visitor for weekend, as it’s the 7th month of the Chinese calendar and most are superstitious and avoiding such mongering trips. So after a quick stop at my hotel to drop my bags and pick up my girl (as usual, she was patiently waiting in my room, "full of love and miss you" feeling), all 5 of us headed off to a public beach, about 30 minutes drive out of "TBK town center".

Not before a short stop at the money changer, IDR has further depreciated against SGD, damn happy, with thoughts of the "ugly Singaporean tourist cheap-cheap mentality" coming into mind.

The public beach (and only beach on the island) is nothing to shout about, reminds me of beach in Port Dickson (for those who are from Malaysia). Murky cloudy and brown water, with "reasonably white, but not soft" sand. So if you are expecting white sandy beaches with pristine clear blue / green waters like in the Maldives / Sabah, Malaysia, you will be sorely disappointed.

We were there for about an hour, just soaking in the evening sun rays, enjoying in the sea breeze, having drinks and chatting, before heading back to town. On the way back, found out that Kofa and I had common interests, we are both avid anglers. He will be arranging an overnight sea fishing trip in the coming months, if our schedules meet. In the meantime, he brought me to a fish farm, where amateur anglers can do a spot of fishing and get it cooked on the spot for a nominal fee. (IDR40, 000 per kilogram, plus IDR20, 000 cooking fee). We bought 3 reasonably sized "bawal" fish, and arranged for it to be cooked for our consumption. However, we did a "take-away" on the cooked fish, as I was still recovering from a mild case of food poisoning and needed to go to the toilet desperately. Rushed back to the hotel. You could sense the urgency in Kofa’s driving, with him using the horn liberally and it took half the normal journey time – this suited me fine!

Decided not to go out for dinner that night, had room service instead with my girl. After-which, we adjourned to bed for some fun. After a hectic week at work, a well deserved pampering, I thought. Slept early and soundly that night.

Woke up early on Saturday morning, had another round of fun, before getting ready for breakfast. I was feeling a little naughty and wanted a threesome that day. Had the arduous task of convincing my regular girl to make "my fantasy" come true. She agreed eventually, so after a quick breakfast of "bak kut the", Kofa brought us to Villa, where she proceeded to "select the third party on my behalf". Back at Maxi Hotel, I sent the two girls up to the room first, with Kofa and myself being brought for a tour of the partially completed new hotel wing by the hotel manager. Décor in the new rooms looks nice, and got Kofa to book me the new suite room for my coming stay (promotional rate, SGD62 per night, from SGD88 – usual price).

I then retired to my room and got acquitted with the new girl over some beer, before proceeding with a quick shower and fun. In bed however, my regular girl was not too happy with the attention that I gave the "third party". I ended up playing alone with my "new found friend", with my regular girl watching television (I am still trying to master the skill of getting two girls to "play along". Right after the new girl left, I got a call from Kofa asking me if everything was ok, as he saw my girl leaving the hotel. I said everything was fine. The question should have been, what the hell was Kofa still doing at the hotel lobby, 1. 5 hours after he dropped me off? He must have been very free that day!

Since my plans for the afternoon was cut short, decided to go to the games arcade for some "kiddy fun" at my girl’s request. Got Kofa to come pick us up at 4 pm. In the meantime, my girl went for facial. I stayed in my room, drinking some alcohol to calm my fears!

My girl definitely leveraged on this frightful episode by reminding me at every opportunity available, (even announcing this incident to Kofa, as soon as we met) telling me that this is what I get for being "unfaithful". She did say that thankfully she didn’t participate since the risk would be greater for her as the girls would have "taken turns" during the threesome session.

At about 4pm, Kofa came and we went to the games arcade, played there for about 1 hour, before coming back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. My regular girl did try to get me to have fun with her, but I didn’t feel like it, as sex was the last thing I needed at that juncture.

Dinner was at "Ho Kia" Restaurant, with Kofa, his girlfriend, my girl and myself. Afterwhich, we adjourned to Wiko Hotel to listen to the live band there (instead of Karaoke). Some alcohol, sexy dancers on stage got me back into the mood. Went back to the hotel at about 12. 30 am, had a quiet night cap with my girl, chit-chatted, before having quick shower and retiring to bed for a slow, passionate session.

Woke up at about 8. 00 am, checked out about 9 am, with Kofa bringing me for breakfast, before catching the 9. 45 am ferry back to Singapore.

Overall, just a nice relaxing weekend, with some unfortunate events. What is the lesson here for me? Still trying to figure that out. Maybe there’s some truth in the Chinese superstitious belief that we should not venture out for such activities in the seventh month of the Chinese calendar!

Many of the prostitutes are from Kalimantan and Java, with the youngest about 16 years old.

Despite police raids and the arrest of a number of pimps, the paper said the brothels continue to operate and visitors continue to flock there.

Located south of Johor and Singapore, Karimun is just an hour's boat ride from the island city-state and visitors are offered a sex package the moment they land.

Many arrive on Saturday morning and return the next day.

A retired businessman said that whenever he visited Karimun, he would tell his family that he was outstation playing mahjong..."

A heartfelt gratitude to William and other mongers who posted their FRs. After soaking all the info, my solo maiden trip to Balai was enjoyable without any hitch. And no guide. But then being an Tg. Pinang old timer, it was easy to fit in and make a few friends. I would like share some insights that I find in Balai and please correct me if I'm wrong. After the recent raid, a few Villas were close and while some have merge like Villa 60. I don't know about you guys but this place really expensive. Huge number of ladies but average lookin. Don't understand why people pay 500K above for a new girl when she been there for a few months. But there is one girl that came highly recommended frm this place who gave great rub down and bonk. Anyone here know this girl? Most girls here cost Rp180k to Rp1million. Yes, not a typo mistake. Rp1mil. Just a quick word of caution.

A very reliable source has informed that there's a team of Singaporean journalists / photographers snooping around TBK, typically going over to TBK over the weekends to do a piece on a piece on prostitution in TBK, in particular child prostitution. Their "field visit" is expected to end in 1 or 2 weeks time. You can expect a "weekend scoop" to follow in the Singapore papers shortly after that.

I understand they are currently going round taking photos of Singaporeans getting off the ferries, amongst other things as well as interviewing the girls.

Well, first and foremost, I totally am against child prostitution & I would be one of the first to blow the whistle on those involved in such disgusting acts. So, I applaud these journalists for doing such articles.

Having said this, from my limited trips, observations and understanding of the sex scenes in TBK, it would appear that most of the girls there are at most, victims of economic circumstances. I am not saying that there is no forced / child sex workers at TBK, but its not as rampant / obvious as say Cambodia (a few years back) where you see fat old men walking down the street (in broad daylight) with girls / boys no more than 13 years old.

Todate, I am pleased to inform that I have not seen such behaviour amongst the mongerors in TBK. I don't think I will have any qualms whacking up any idiots, if I do encounter such behaviour in coming trips. Not being moralistic or anything, just wanting to send the perverts the message that such behaviour cannot be condoned and "affirmative action" is the best way to send the message across, in my opinion anyways.

For those "normal" mongerors, if you don't want your picture to be published in the papers, should avoid that place in the interim yeah ? Alternatively, wear a cap, pull it down low and try to avoid being seen on the streets of TBK ?

Hi guys, just came back from a 2days, 1 night trip. Quite a enjoyable time as it was a weekday and not much people. Book a cewek from ruko, rp250 000, 23 yrs old, not a bad lay but BJ only so-so. Made a 3 day 2 night trip to TBK, last weekend.

Took the first ferry out of harbourfront on Friday morning, uneventful journey. Calm seas, slight drizzle at times. Arrived 1 hour 45 minutes later at TBK ferry terminal.

Had issues at the immigration checkpoint, insisting that its unlawful to wear shorts? Go figure that out! Anyhow, I did not hand over a single cent and was out of that place 10 minutes later, after explaining that I just came back from Jakarta the night before, and had no issues with wearing shorts at the airport!

Kofa was patiently waiting for me at the exit, informed that my room at Maxi Hotel is not ready as yet. Would I be interested in going for a "drive"? Definitely, I replied! Stopped at Himalaya Hotel to pick up 3 other mongerers from Klang, Malaysia (I admire their determination, for making such a long trip just for a little fun), quick stop at the money changer and off we went to visit the "sites" at Rukko & Villa.

Never really liked the selection at Rukko, so it was just a quick stop and look. Choices at Villa are better and plentiful, but did not select any, as I already booked my regular girl for 2 nights. Instead, browsed through the place, took down notes for future escapades.

Ended the night at about 12. 30 am, all high and happy, had another round with my girl before retiring to sleep.

Overall, its always fun to have a little naughty & fun trip now and then. To me, the sex is the same everywhere.
