Brazil is really in crisis that's why they needed to increase their fine. The new law passed in May 2017 and went into affect in November 21 2017. The fine is 8 reais per day and the maximum amount to pay is 800 reais for any overstay before November 26 2017. Anybody overstaying after November 21 2018 will be fined 100 reais per day and the maximum amount will be 10 000 reais if you stay over 100 days.

I advise anybody against overstaying unless you have no trouble paying 10 000 reais. I m fucked I will only stay in Brazil 6 months, I had planned to stay 9 months but since the new law passed, I prefer to refrain from doing that. It is better for me to monger in Europe for three months than overstay by three months in Brazil. I just have to avoid stick to my Russian women in Europe after enjoying my Brazilian women in Brazil.

I know you can go to Galeao 2nd floor and pay for extension of 3 months but in general they just work out a fee per day you overstay-it used to 8/9 reais a day. Anyone know if it has risen?

They changed the law, they moved from 8 reais per day to 150 reais per day. The maximun fine is 10 000 reais and no more 800 reais like in the past.

You are not forced to pay it or your days will be deducted from your next trip, it is up to the officer, it depends on if they like you.

I would like to know if anyone knows if it is possible to buy a one year tourist visa? 6 months is not enough. I won't work for 9 months so I need to spend my time in Brazil till my next contract starts.

Colombia actually has a lot of diversity in looks, though maybe not quite as much as Brasil (no country does). You can find very white-looking Latinas and you can also find black, African-descent chicas. You can even find some with Asian descent (though not in numbers like in Sao Paulo).

I have to agree re Argentinian women. I was in Buenos Aires a week ago and stayed for three days. I can honestly say I hardly saw a single lady that did it for me. Now here in Rio I regularly see very attractive ladies. I am only talking about walking in the street, not on the beach. I was expecting a lot more with all the hype around it.

What I like about Brazil is there is a little bit of everything unlike Colombia, you can find from Black Africans to White Caucasians. Personally I find Southern Brazilian, Argentinian and Uruguayan women to be the hottest in South America.

I believe it's now 100 reais per day with a max fine of 10,000 reais.

I overstayed in Brazil few years ago, I would like to know what will happen if I overstay again. Is it possible to negotiate not to have the ugly stamp on my passport? I don't want to have trouble with Japanese immigration and get refused entry to Japan for work just because they noticed the ugly stamp on my passport saying that I overstayed in Brazil. I plan to stay in Brazil 8 months. Japanese people are very strict concerning immigration, to them when you overstayed in a country, that means you are also capable of overstaying in their own country.

I'm voting for Colombia. I was in Barranquilla for two weeks at the end of March. I'm an old man, so I don't expect much, but I had a several very good sessions in my hotel with girls from mileroticos. Hit the clubs on the circuit near Uruguayana.

Saw a few prospects but nothing that drew me all the way in.

A guy handed me a flyer on the street of a place that just opened.

Howdy guys. I stopped going to Rio right before the World Cup / Olympics madness, but am hopping back into to the mix and going back to Rio soon. Are the same Termas still up and running, eg. 4 x 4, Monte Carlo, T65, Solarium, etc. I heard that Centaurus was shut down but reckon it's back up and operating now, yes? Any new good venues pop up in the last few years?

Just out of curiosity, how much does an hour session at a place like Monte Carlo run now? When I was last in Brasil inflation was out of control. Just want to know what to expect.

BTW. It seems I had been away from the site so long that my old user name no longer works so I had to create a new profile. I see some of the old crew are still active in this forum like Sperto.
