Thanks to some old intel from the forum I stopped by Shades while on a cruise. If you do get off at the cruise terminal, walk straight for the EXIT, don't bother with the shops or tour guides and don't take a taxi from inside the terminal. Once outside the gate, find a marked taxi and ask how much to drive you to Shades, wait for you, and drive you back. Don't pay anything until you're back at the port.
