Well just because she's engaged doesn't mean that she is going to stop being a GDP. Girl's got to eat somehow. But this is one of my fears about long term entanglements, that a jealous husband, boyfriend, brother will decide to avenge the 'honor' of some girl.

You are sooooo right. Not ten minutes after my "thanks for the memories" missive she writes back that her fiancé is a GDP also and of course accepts what she does. She says "you are married and now I am engaged, but this changes nothing about our relationship. " Wow. This takes some time for a westerner to comprehend but I kinda like it!

Now I can do Scandalo and Thifany and whatever else interchangeably. I know it sounds silly but before I felt I kinda had to pick her instead of the boates. But I love the feel of the chase in the boate. Now hopefully I will have both!

Wouldn't worry about the jealous husband / BF that much. The majority of the involved / married GDPs I've dealt with were the main bread winners in the relationship. Hell, I had a regular GDP in Rio whose husband would pass her the phone when I called!

Ha! So after just being back in touch and starting some plans, I read on her Instagram today that she just got engaged! She looks so happy. I wish her well. I really do care for her so I am smiling and crying all at once. Surely it has saved me from some pain in the long run so I am grateful.

Yeah. I knew it was for the best when we parted ways in Jan. But then the prospect of seeing her again is just too tempting. Just chatting on WhatsApp is kinda fun. If this was pure sex there are many other options. I guess I like having a girlfriend. I take that back. I KNOW I like having a girlfriend.

I will continue to wear my rose goggles for a while and we shall see.

Since that time it's been on again off again with the usual money troubles and phone being "lost" etc. So radio silence for 4 months when she pops up on my Instagram feed as active again. Well we are kinda picking up where we left off and I have to say it's exciting.

Good luck Steve. I'm not sure I would have the patience once she started with the money, phone, etc. I hope you can have a nice run with this girl, but my gut tells me that when she senses there is no LTR things can get difficult. Hopefully, when that happens you are in a position to make a clean break.

I never experienced that when visiting any building for punting or for my rental in SP. So, I don't know how those fell out of the realm of "any commercial or residential structure". But you are "big bidness man" visiting important clients so your experience might be different than mine (and apparently less entertaining). The last secured building I did visit in SP, I was merely provided the number of the buzzer to press upon arriving, and didn't see a soul in the building until I was greeted at the door of my hostess.

There's really no point digging in on this issue. Enough of us have significant experience with buildings that require identification. It shouldn't catch mongers here off-guard.

I am friends with middle class Paulistas and they are very security conscious. They prefer buildings with a security desk. Many of the high-end escorts live in these same middle class buildings in areas like Jardins, Moema, etc.

You shouldn't take offense that we are visiting Brazilians who live in more secure buildings and perhaps you are not. Our experiences just differ and the only thing that matters is mongers should be made aware.

So for anyone who was paying attention to my Thifany saga, it's back on!

The short version is this: Boy meets girl in club. (Well actually old man and girl but who's counting) Boy and girl hit it off passionately. Spend 5 hours together having sex twice once together and once with her friend in an epic dupla. I invite her to Join me on a trip to London (crazy!) She accepts (extra crazy!) and we have the time of our lives. Dancing till 3 AM every night and of course epic sex. Absolutely the best time you could possibly have (the entire epic is available to senior members by PMing me.).

Since that time it's been on again off again with the usual money troubles and phone being "lost" etc. So radio silence for 4 months when she pops up on my Instagram feed as active again. Arrived in Sao Paulo on Sunday AM from my overnight flight. Having read earlier reports, I knew to head to the departures area to find the Uber stand, so I headed upstairs and was able to find it without any difficulty. However, the Uber app would not let me request a car using either my cell phone number or Google Voice number, presumably because those were non-local numbers. After trying to get that to work for a few minutes, I eventually gave up and used Guarocoop taxi. It was expensive (R160 to my hotel in Moema), but since I didn't have any other options, I took it. Luckily, my hotel had a room available early, so I was able to get some sleep to compensate for my lack of sleep on the plane.

I set my alarm for 2 pm so I could get to the mall Shopping Ibirapuera when it opened to get my cell phone sorted out. I found the mall rather confusing. Having read earlier posts, I was trying to find the Vivo on the 3rd floor. I ended up at the Vivo on the 2nd floor, and they just told me that I couldn't get a SIM card without Brazilian papers..

As I always pointed up, be early at Tangara, especially on Sundays. If you go after 4 pm maybe you will find 30 dudes waiting for rooms.

I was there today, arrived at 1:30 pm, there were about 25 girls in the house and very few customers. Went with Sophie, a escola de samba type mulata, fantastic service, DFK, BBBJ, and CIM.

Any commercial or residential structure in Sao Paulo will require that you provide identification in order to enter the building. I have clients all over Sao Paulo, when I enter the building I'm required to provide identification, at which point you put into the building register. Every time you enter you're required to show the identification or repeat the registration process if it's you first time there. FYI.

Although the person helping me didn't speak either of my languages (English or Spanish), we got by with some of my poor Portunol and Google Translate, and I did eventually get a SIM card (R15) and a 2 GB data plan that lasts one week (R12). Including the wait time, that took around 45 minutes. I headed back downstairs and found the Banco Santander on the first floor. Again, having read earlier posts, I knew that not all of the ATM machines would work with my foreign ATM card, but I eventually found one that did (the second from the left, I believe). I then grabbed a quick lunch at the mall (there a lot of good options there).

After lunch, I summoned an Uber car to take me to Clinica Tangara. For some reason, the Uber app would not work with my credit card, so I decided to pay in cash instead, which you can do in Brazil. In retrospect, I think that's the way to go, since it costs the same and eliminates all of the small Uber transactions from your credit card bill (which at least gets rid of an annoyance and is good for those requiring discretion).

I got to Tangara around 4 pm. As others have said, the building is pretty nondescript from the outside, just a blue door and gate in a stone wall. Inside it is also nondescript but is clean enough, and the management is very kind and friendly. Although the manager and desk person that day did not speak English, they had some English-speaking regulars check on me from time to time to make sure that I was okay. Every time a new man arrived, the manager had the girls come and introduce themselves. There were around 25 girls, but because it was relatively late in the day, there were also a lot of men waiting. I'm pretty picky (especially with the face), but for me the girls ranged from 3-4/10 on the low end to 7/10 on the high end with most in the middle. There were 3 girls I was considering, but one seemed a bit cold, one seemed annoyed when she was dealing with another English-speaking client, and the last seemed to be having a bad day and was not in a good mood. So once it started getting dark around 6:30 pm, I decided to leave without taking a girl to the room. (FYI, Tangara closes at 8 pm on Sunday).

I believe the whole point of the thread was to point out places that were off the beaten path for visitors that have already tried the more well known places that are usually described. So, yes, first timers should not bother to go to these places until after they have tried the Moema and Vila Mariana places. The original author wrote as much saying that he has been visiting SP for years and wanted to try something new.

As for you comment about avoiding Analia Franco because you found the staff to be unpleasant "to you". I truly hope that no readers are basing their plans on your limited experiences at these places.
