It has been known for some time that Great Wall Sheraton and Landmark are both girl unfriendly, has this changed recently? Especially at the Landmark?

I need to switch to a sub-way friendly hotel and it seems that my choices are limited if I want to mimimize the sub-way travel time from the airport.

First trip to Beijing ever. Booked a room at the Hotel Kapok in the Wangfujing area. Wanted to be centrally located but thought I would check on here if anyone had any experience if this was a good choice, girl friendly? Neighborhood? Other suggestions in that general area?

Forgive the potentially stupid question, but is there any chance of bringing a girl from maggie's or similar back to the airport hilton? 1- would she go so far and 2- would they let us in? I've stayed there for several overnight layovers but have never tried anything.

Simple answer. Ask and ye may succeed. You are asking a question that nobody reading might be able to answer. Nobody might have tried it:

1. Ask the hotel manager can you bring a girl. He will say yay or nay.

2. Explain situation to the girl of your choice. She WILL want a premium. See what you can negotiate. And she may demand money upfront. Offer her 50% upfront. I have no idea if they will go for it. Go ahead and try.

Stayed there many times over the past 5 years and I have never had a problem getting a taxi there in rain storms, snow storms, bitter cold days, lightning storms, dust storms and even on the hottest of days or when rushing to the airport. There was always a line of taxis to the left when you come out of the entrance. Otherwise the bell hops or the concierge would call one upwith no additional charge. Still visit the girls next to the ATM on the second floor but you do have to negotiate well with them as their prices have steadily climbed over the years. Still best to bring in outcalls for 3-5 red maos. Sorry you didn't find the taxis convenient. Still a reasonably priced place to stay on WanFujing if you negotiated a good rate. Great breakfast also with nice street view. Just there in June.

Taxi situations all over China had gotten much worse in the last year or two. Taxi fare did not keep up with inflation, so it is going to get even worse, as those fares are controlled and not driven by market.

I would stay away from WangFuJing, or at least should be on the Peace Hotel side, like Taiwan hotel would be ok.

If the hotel has a massage area, foot or full body, go get either a foot massage or a full body massage. During the massage point to your crotch and smile. In my case the conversation usually goes like this. She writes 500 on her phone and says something like beautiful girl. You nod affirmative. Girl arrives short time later. You accept or reject. Go to the room, fuck her, give her the 500 and she leaves. English will be minimal. Hell I didn't want to talk to her anyway, just fuck. Usually shower before and after. No drama. No bullshit. Just great fucking. Get her cell number call her direct next time.

I know the Crown Plaza is a popular choice here but I just want to point out its location is really bad for getting a taxi. I was there two days ago when BJ was rainning and I was completely stuck at the hotel, no way to get out to anywhere.

The second question is: can you speak / write / communicate in Chinese?

Why not book into a known BBS area, get to know a mama or papa, and have them deliver to you. The first time there might be some nerves (you, the mama, the girl) , the second time it will only be nerves from the girl. Cheaper, and closer. .

Just my experience.

1. True they may not want to go but my concern was if they did let the girl come over will the 2 or 3 star hotel stop the girl from coming in or call the cops.

2. I can only speak basic mandarin enough to get by.

3. I don't know a BBS area. Can you tell an area. But also I read that the police are still cracking down on them until sept. 20.

So not sure if that safe right now because I ll be there next week.

I can't afford those 4 or 5 star hotels just to bring a girl over. I rather spend it on more girls. I saw a 2 star hotel for around 30 bucks.

So am looking for a hotel from 30 to maybe 40 a night tops.

I know this isn't hotels. Com, but could any of the brothers recommend a hotel to a newbie with no mandarin skills? I've been in Japan having a blast for 2 years, now I'm stopping in Beijing for one week before I head home. Beijing is so big, and mongering reports seem to come from all over the city, I don't know what section (Dongcheng, maybe?) or what hotel to settle on. I just want a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to a sauna or maybe a few bbs (if its safe!). Close to the Forbidden City would be sweet too since that's the only major attraction I am interested in. Should be interesting to compare and contrast mongering in China and Japan!

Cap'and Yonoi, I would recommend the Jade Garden Hotel. It is clean, well-run and a few blocks from the East Gate of the FC. I just booked it and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality. Enjoy!
