    Secret Identities

I use Pinnacle Studio Plus and have tried it on a couple video clips. The technique is called KEYFRAMING, which basically allows you to target an effect on a particular point on screen and interpolate movement between two points.

For example, if in frames 1-100 of a video the head (which you want to block out) moves from left to right, you don't want to edit 100 frames with a blur effect on every frame. Rather its easier to pick 6 points (say frames 0. 20, 40, 60, 80, 100), target the "blur spot," and then let the computer fill-in the movement between the frames.

This kind of work is easiest on talking heads, like "witness protection" where the head is testifying sitting quite still on the witness stand. Even then, it still takes a bit of effort. Even professionals hate the tedium of keyframing, so most of the time you see witnesses shot in darkened silhouette. It's even worse for sex videos... when you try to do this on unpredictable movements (like the head bobbing during sex), you end up having to set an inordinate amount of keyframes.

The poor man's solution is rather more simple - just add a title overlay (like a black square box) without any text and blot out the identity of the target. It may not be pretty and you usually end up blocking out the good stuff because you have to make the box bigger to ensure that none of the identity sneaks out with jerky movement.

I played around with this a lot when I was planning to post some video clips where my face was in some particularly good parts of the video. If you work hard enough at it, you can make some superb porn-quality material and still keep your identity safe, but it takes a lot of patience to achieve professional results.

Maybe I will do a tutorial on this when I get some time... Hehe. Enjoy, AsianRain+

    Photography suggestions...

    Hi,

I'm no expert but would like to add my $0.02 on how to take great photos...

    1) Face them toward the light. A slight angle change will make all the difference. Also if you're indoors, draw the curtains, (hopefully in white), so that it softens the light a little bit. Direct sunlight can be a little harsh.

1A) Get up close...don't stand too far away. Make sure she fills the frame. Nobody cares about the background or what she's wearing.

1B) Squeeze the trigger a little bit so the camera can focus. Focusing is key. Don't be too hasty to fire off a shot. Make sure the focus is on her eyes, not her neck, hands or any other part of her body - then take the shot. Any else can be soft focus except for her face. Take your time, you'll never have the same moment again.

1C) If at all possible, rest the camera on a hard flat surface...then gently depress the trigger.

1D) Make sure that the background is suitable for her. So white girl with cream wall behind her - bad. Black girl with cream wall behind her...good. Black girl with black towel - bad. Black girl with hot pink towel, cream background - awesome. You get the idea.

    2) Add some interest to the photo. Bring a jersey of your favorite sports team, make em wear it. Or a piece of white cardboard with your buddy's name on it... =) Hi jerry, from peru!!!

    3) If there's enough natural light, then turn off your flash. If it's a little dark, you can always fix it later. If it's washed out, then no software can help you.

    4) Ask them to pose naturally...or do some funny stuff, like doing the no-papi- you-go-girl kinda pose. Some girls look better sitting down or lying back. Or while she's playing with herself. Experiment...girls love to show off.

    5) Try taking photos from both sides of her face...yes, one side is almost always better.

    6) Try using some other functions of your camera like the sport-frame mode - where the camera just bursts repeatedly over a few seconds as long you depress the trigger - you'd be suprised at how good some of the photos turn out

    7) Set your video resolution low so you maximize the file size...then leave the camera on, in a strategic position, when the action begins...memories to last forever!

    8) deleted

    9) Ask her to sing her favorite song...you'll see a different side of her! Or also while she's sleeping. Or while she's showering.

    10) Don't be shy to take as many photos as you want...digital is nearly free. Knock yourself out. You'll never live the same moment again. Sometimes the photos leading up to the posed photos are funnier and more natural than the posed ones...

    11) Always keep an eye out for the light. Modern digitals still suck at low light situations, and remember to keep the light in front of her, not behind her. Night photography situations often suck. Don't be afraid to reposition her for a better lighting situation.

    12) You don't have to take photos from a straight on perspective. Take 5 steps to your right or left and try the same shot, with her twisting a little bit. Accentuates her waist and also gives a little perspective on her cleavage...

    13) Ask her to act sexy - e.g. finger in her mouth, tongue tip on her lip, etc - use your imagination...

Doc HD TV is just double format of standard PAL TV (not NTSC) if I'm not wrong. But they are still very expencive and they give lot less details of a normal 5 MP camera with normal lenses (not a small and cheap one) I think to Nikons 5400 or 5700 (more recently 8400 and 8700 with 8 MP).

You know I'm always in love with some girl... And it's a nice look to see a fill screen pussy on my 22" monitor! With a well erected clito!

    Just for joking...

As for pinhole cameras, there are various lens adapters for video cameras that work fairly well, however it dims the room or rather darkens the image. You need to insure that there is enough light in the room otherwise the image is too dark. Natural light is of course best. If the image is too dark anyway, you can sometimes rescue it with software. For example even Windows Moviemaker has a lightening tool.

You also lose some res with most pinhole cameras unless the lighting is particularly good.

There is though, an unsharp mask under Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp mask that would get you started. I usually use the sharpen effect but you can definitely use it to soften details and make different areas softer, or blur them totally, good for faces I guess and also skin texture to a degree.

To select all the areas that you would like to manipulate/soften use the wand and keep the shift button depressed. Then you would use the feather option, select>select feather to soften the edges of the area selected - on a fairly large area use a radius of about 30, for smaller areas use a feather radius of between 10-20.

    I hope this helps some.

    Cheers

    Hidden Cameras?

    Hi,

Does anyone here use hidden cameras? Right now, all I have is a little webcam, but it was enough for me to put next to the bed in a pile of clothes and get a good video of me banging an outcall. The problems are

    1) My face is visible - I'm trying to shoot these in a way where my face is not visible.

    2) I always end sessions with messy facials whch I'd like to capture,

Mounting the camera above the bed solves some of this, but then it's more visible. Unless I try to hide it in a smoke detector, which is complicated, gets too far away, and would be the only smoke detector with a USB cable to a computer. Ideally, I'd like a camera on the headboard, pointed right down at her face (but that she wouldn't notice).

A lamp next to the bed with the camera right next to it (in front, to avoid backlighting) seems good, but has anyone tried it? Do the girls notice it?

Also, any lighting / camera advice on this?

    Thanks,

    1783

    Buzz,

Do you have any idea how we can make this skin texture correction in PS ? I use PainshopPro9 only and only for that reason and would be happy to learn how I can do it the same way in PS.

Also, besides Doc's question, I have received PMs asking me if it can also be done in PS and unfortunately have no real idea about it. My alternative in PS-> "Soft Focusing" is not the exact equivalent of it.

    Best,

    U.
