In Sofia for business for a few months. I've been surfing this forum awhile and got some good advice. Figure the least I could do is share some of my exploits.

Went to Velvet, girls rate anywhere from 6-8 to 6-10 depending on what night of the week it is. Usual cost entrance and drink costs. Price for 1 hour was 100leva.

Decided to try out one of the city's flats. There is an apartment less than 5 minute walk from Velvet, it's on the corner of Sv. Georgi Solivski and Pencho Slaveykov. It's to the left of a "Pall Mall" mini store. You walk up to the apartment, the button is the very bottom button and is larger and seperated from the other buttons. Ring this button and go through the door (it's already open) to the second floor, a door will be open. Walk in and the girls will be on the left to look at.

There were 6-8 girls both times I was there, rated about 5-9, I chose the 9 to take back to my apartment. 5 leva for the taxi, 80 for 1 hour plus some money for the taxi for her to leave (another 5 leva).

You can also stay there for only 60leva an hour.

As others have noted, stay away from street people, they are pretty rough and likely to steal your stuff or be diseased. If others have other locations for other flats in the area, please post, Good Luck!

Here is my contribution to the forum ..
Although I am an old “visitor” to Bulgaria since 1992 up to 1998 , I start traveling here that used to be a “good place to be ” once again few months ago.
So as the previous “contacts” were not alive .I decided to follow the advises given here bellow from fellow mongers .

Their shake down is complete, and I just happy to be able to leave without any physical harm.

What a horrific night. Next time, if there is one as I don't think that I'll be punting for sometime, I'll be a bit more careful.
