The only advice I can give concerns the taxis. Beware of taxis in every country but in Bulgaria, be especially alert. From the airport, go to one of the two taxi companies stationed at the counter. The person will walk you to their company's taxi. There are several taxis waiting outside the airport and you absolutely can't trust them. If they walk up to you and ask you if you need a taxi, garranteed to be a rip off. Once you are introduced, then, take note of what that taxi looks like because that will be the taxi company you will need to use around Sofia. The company is OK (973 2121). The logo is Blue with two red dots. Many taxis try to similate this name and logo but, beware.

I dont think its possible to meet them at their place, so we met at another hotel since my hotel not were girlfriendly.

Again I had done quite a bit of previous research and thanks to Balkan expat I have obtained some quite valuable leads. But in the thick of the evening’s action, one does not always follow the attack plan, and I confess I would probably have been better off sticking to the girls that he referred me to.

What did I do? Having trawled reports on ISG and a few others, I had noticed that there were reports of SW on Mariya Luiza Bld up to the bridge. I can tell you, I walked that area (like I did in Bucharest) to great disappointment. This time no law enforcement to scare away the ladies, but at 11. 30 pm I walk all the way from Vitosha Bld to the bridge to find one hottie right at the corner before the bridge.

In short, be careful on what you agree with her. Maybe I am too demanding but DFK is what I need to fire up the engine and if it explicitly requested upfront, then she should turn me down, like her pal Elena did, instead of consenting to it.

Moreover, when compared to the SW Maria who was so much more friendly, the monetary damage is definitely against her: 20 Euro for the hotel, 150 Leva for her manager, plus the drinks for her and Elena in Kamasutra for about 140 Leva extra. Against Maria at 60+20 Leva, I think next time I will use my rental car to cruise down Hristo Botev till I pick Maria up and take her to my hotel for 2 or 3 hours for the same amount of money.

But otherwise, same conclusion for Sofia as for Bucharest: great town, great food, great wine! And some good and bad experiences in the bedroom while admiring the many fabulous stunners that grace this town.

Indeed, Tiffany knows how to dress for the occasion. Classy, but in such a way it is a pleasure to see the other men turning their heads when passing by. You can hear them think "is she a pro? " in combination with "the lucky bastard! " (especially in the swimming pool area).

It is possible to pay for the hotel in cash and in Euros, but be aware an upfront payment and hefty deposit are asked in this case. No extra charge for double occupancy of the room other that the double daily "city tax" of 0, 62 Euro. Discretion and five star class.

This weekend turned out to be a real full relaxation experience. Another one in that series of very, very nice souvenirs of Sofia.
