Only have one experience in the US virgins, and not a very good one I'm afraid.

Was a couple of years back, at a club on the main street of Charlotte Amalie in St Thomas. The club I believe was called the Jala- Jala. When I say club, it was really little more than a bar, and quite a dingy one at that. A few local men, and 2 quite awful working ladies; very fat, and pushing 50 years old! Yeeewch!! The phrase "I wouldn't touch her with yours" seemed to sum it up perfectly.

I just returned from the BVI and I'd be really surprised if there is any action there. There's probably something in Road Town, but it sure ain't obvious. I did meet a local and asked and was told there is a brothel on Tortola down by some beach (I couldn't understand the name, maybe Josiahs?) but that it's for locals and that it's not a place that a tourist should wander into as it's far off the beaten track. If anyone knows any more info let me know, my next visit will be next year.

There's a Josia's Bay on the north side of Tortola towards the eastern end of the island. As the crow flies, it's not far from Road Town, but to drive there would take a while. I worked in the BVI for a year quite some time ago. The vast majority of the people are religious and conservative (I mean they don't like change, not in the political sense the way "religious and conservative" would mean in America). They don't like tourists wearing skimpy clothes in town and I saw locals speak to tourists dressed that way and tell them it's not acceptable. Most aren't that extreme and I found BVIslanders to be warm and friendly once I got to know them.

While the majority of the locals may be religious and conservative, the "expats" generally weren't, but they respected their neighbours and friends and were discreet. Most tourists who go to the BVI are there to sail and lots of expats and tourists sail topless or even nude. To avoid problems with the locals, they wait till they're far enough from shore before the clothes come off. (expat = expatriate = someone living in the BVI who wasn't born there, but it's generally only used for whites; not a tourist)

There were no legal topless of nude beaches in the BVI when I was there and I'd be *very* surprised if that's changed, but it wasn't hard to find secluded beaches where it was OK. If someone had tried that on the beaches popular with the locals, the cops would be called.

If any girls are offering their services, they're most likely to be tourists. If they're residents, then they're more likely to be an expat than a BVIslander. The population is small and everyone has a *lot* of relatives across the islands, so news travels fast. If a local girl was in the business, she'd be able to keep it secret for about two minutes.

Go to the BVI for the beautiful scenery and weather, the minimal crime and racial problems, the lack of crowds, and the sailing. If you're going there for sex, try picking up a tourist at a resort or in a bar. Who knows? She might be an SP or MPA or indie on vacation.

I don't think you find a whole lot of action in the BVI, but I may be wrong.

I was in St. Thomas several times over the summer and went looking for action a few times.

Stay away from El Cubano unless you are very desparate, drunk, don't give a shit, or all the above.

Found the best action at Club 75 in the down town area. My friend and I met two girls from the DR (Sparkle and Ruby). I think they charge $100 for action in the back room and $100 exit fee for them to leave. We paid $200 each for several hours of pleasure on the outside. We were too drunk to negociate, and I bet you could bargin a better deal. Both girls were early 20's, pleasant, and had nice bodies. One of them spoke decent english which helped. We even rotated our women and had a great time. Good luck.

This is my first post. This site has been very informative to me and I am glad to contribute something back. I spent most of the winter in Saint Thomas, living aboard my 50 feet sailing vessel. I had plenty of time to make friends and see all of the island. There are at least two brothels on St. Thomas. I visited two of them, but never did quite get to the third one. "El Cubano" is located in the Smith Bay area. It is along the road from Charlotte Amelie to Red Hook. The other brothel is called "The Tank" it is located in the Nisky area of the island on the west end near the air port. Neither one of these are very high class. They are patronized mostly by local West Indians. The girls are almost all from the Dominican Republic. I was in Boca Chica, DR for a few weeks on my way to the Virgin Islands, so I have had an education in dealing with these girls. I speak enough Spanish to get by with. Both of the brothels have about 10-12 girls. They seemed to be younger and prettier at "The Tank" but they did ask for more money also. At "El Cubano" they charge $30 to $40 USD and "The Tank" they asked $40-$50. You get about a half hour for this, but the girls do take some pride in their work and will get you off even it it takes longer. Be nice to them. Of course they will also ask a lot more just to see if they can get it, but the prices I quote are what they really work for. These girls are on work visas or so they say. They are only there for a few months and then back to the DR.. New ones take their places. Beer is $2 at "El Cubano" and $3 at "The Tank". Both places are a little sketchy. I went alone most of the time, but I am a bit of a tough guy sailor, very tan and local looking. I recommend going with a friend or two. To fit in better wear long pants and shoes. The West Indians don't wear shorts and sandels very often and never in the evening. Both places have a bar to sit at and take in the scene and have beer as you check out the ladies. They will come up to you or you can go up to them. Both places have little rooms in the back that the girl takes you to. They are not very nice but seem clean enough and very spartan. Use your head (the one on your shoulders). I was never bothered by anyone, but I can see the potential for it. I usually went early in the evenings. It probably gets more rowdy later. The girls provide condoms and they put them on you with their mouths which is a nice touch. Enjoy and be safe.

I appreciate the details in your report, but I know from experience that a lot of people find it very difficult to read a report that is written as one long block of text. It's kind of like trying to eat an entire steak in one bite.

I know how this happens: You're banging away at the keyboard, putting your thoughts into the report as fast as you can write them. However, if you could hit the return key every few sentences while you're writing, and thus break your report into smaller paragraphs, your report would be much easier to read, which would certainly be appreciated by your fellow Forum Members.

During a recent trip to St Thomas, I checked out all I could, for the sake of research of course, and yes Jala- jala , club 75 and another two next to Jal-jala are still going But the quality of the girls was suspect, big fat bitches for the most part, pretty scarey, but a couple of roses in the weeds. but they think that if your white your loaded and up goes the price, they don't seem to realise that you only want to rent it, not buy it, but they are all asking over $100 and $150, but I have seen better eslewhere for less. All of them have attitude, mainly from Dom Rep, but think because they are in the States they have made the big time, and can charge big bucks. There is also a place up by the big storage tanks on the west side of Charlote amalie, and the girls looked fresher and more pretty, but once again the attitude was shit.

Not on my top ten places to get laid, I assure you.

This may or may not help you, but here goes. I was in St. Thomas in sept. of 1996 (yea, i know, seven years ago!!) and while crusing the streets at nite, i ran into this "street person/homeless guy" we started talking and he said for a couple of bucks he would tell me where to find the working girls.

I figured what the heck, gave him three dollars, and he directed me up the street a couple of blocks to this "locals only" type of bar. I forget the name, but it's on the second floor in a building thats off the beaten tourist path. Turns out the three or four girls i saw in there were "on the clock" i started talking to this one petite, dark skined, latin looking girl, who led me down stairs to a kind of makeshift hotel room where i had my way with her for $50.

There was also this one strip club we went to the next night, again, don't remember name or street add. but we asked the cab driver about it and he took us right to it. He also said some of the girls in the club were working girls, but not all of them. By the way, that club was dirty and dingy, but some of the girls dancing were pretty hot. plus full nude with alcohol.

By the way, some of the streets away from the tourist area are kinda seedy and some what dangerous at nite, (pick pockets, muggers) from what we were told by locals. But i never had a problem personally. Your best bet may be to ask a cab driver where to find the girls. that's how i get alot of my info in alot of different cities.
