Just know that there are vans that goes almost anywhere in mexico. That goes for southern mexico too. Save your money and tell her to get on the bus.

Thanks for the feedback. It was a. Uh. Awkward moment at best where I sensed she wanted me to help her out a little bit on the money side (such conversation did not happen during our first encounter.). I never had to travel to rosarito (or anywhere outside Tijuana for that matter) so never paid attention to the signs, I shall start doing that in the future (or at least ask a yellow cabbie every opportunity I have)

Reason I asked is because, I took one of my regulars to a motel after her shift last night and this morning she told me she had no money to go back to rosarito, I only had 40 left in my wallet (minus the change I had to keep handy) and I gave those to her. I was just deciding if I needed to feel bad considering that I accidentally made her 'wait' outside the club for 30 mins (some things got lost in translation, anyway, no need to digress). I was really apologetic.

Anyway, if anyone cares, the sex wasn't as great as last time and I guess part of the reason is because she has developed this 'attachment' to me (or my money, whatever). But little gestures are giving off some hints. Maybe as a monger, I like more the journey than the destination.

Did you also know that you can take public transport (shared mini van) from Ave. Madero around 2nd St for very little. That is of course if you don't have any luggage.

Just after you pass through the gates you will see a taxi stand across the street from the yellow cabs. They have most destinations and prices listed on a sign. Did you also know that you can take public transport (shared mini van) from Ave. Madero around 2nd St for very little. That is of course if you don't have any luggage.

2:30 in the afternoon or morning? I thought I hit a long line at 3:00AM last time I was there but nothing like what you're talking about. I told myself I would never leave during the daytime again and now make sure I leave between 2-4am to avoid lines, but if you left in the morning maybe that isn't the case anymore.

I found a window of opportunity. Around 8:15am through 9am on weekdays. Right after the work crowd goes through and just before the none work crowd starts to come in. Rise and shine boys!

I got back to la linea at 2:30. The line extended all the way up to as far as it could go, and then doubled back for about half a block. Holy crap! But, I timed it and it was 40 minutes to inside the turnstiles, and another 20 minutes to get through the inspectors. Not fun, but I thought it would be a lot worse. Can't wait for my SENTRI.

played hooky on wednesday and drove to tijuana. hadn't been in a while, and i'd almost forgotten what pussy looked like.

saw an interesting sight. most of the way down on the 5 there was a caravan of about 20 motorcycle cops. i couldn't quite make out where they were from, the city of loma something-or-other. they were headed to sd for something. anyway, there was a stranded motorist with a flat tire on the shoulder. i think this was somewhere south of san onofre. anyway, a couple of them peeled off and made sure everything was ok. the reason i mention this is that there was a chp motorcycle officer that came tear-assing through traffic a couple of minutes later. do you think he stopped for that poor bastard? nooooo. this asshole zoomed ahead of traffic for a couple of miles, then pulled off the road and into a break in the bushes and pulled out his radar gun.

the chp has ceased to be an organization operating for the good and safety of the ca motorist. they are now simply tax collectors for the welfare state. the only time i see chp (and i see them frequently) , they are sitting on their asses with a radar gun in their hand. i feel safer just knowing about them. so, if there are any current chp officers in the membership of this august chat board, *fuck you.

made it to sy. the parking lot opposite jitb seems to have an early-bird weekday special. $5, or $8 (memory is fuzzy) for 8 hours, prepaid. i like this better than jitb because it's closer to the bridge. i never cared for the old bridge, but the new one isn't much better. goofy stairs. the risers are too short to comfortably walk up, yet a little too tall to comfortably take 2 at a time. and no stairs at the other end. wtf?

noticed a few changes. i had read some article a while back, and some gay bar promoter was saying how tijuana is such a great gay destination. well, maybe he was right. the huge upstairs joint, club 42 or whatever-the-fuck they call it, across from nelson, has been there a while. the strip joint 2 doors down from nelson used to be some sort of tranny cabaret. now it's openly gay.

walking down primero i noticed that the signage for taurino is gone and, in its place, is another giant sign proclaiming another gay bar. and la malquerida openly caters to both persuasions.

sorry, no field report on any of those bars. besides it was before noon, and things looked pretty slow.

anyway, i met a fave for a quick snack, then we checked into the felicitas for a couple of hours of steamy no-holes-barred boinking.

afterward, i noticed that the new york bar is open again. they have a sign outside. se solicitan meseras, bailarinas. you know, the usual. some local joker had written, below the line about bailarinas,"chikas tallas.". so, even the locals think there are too many gorditas in the zona.
