InDriver is a ride sharing service. And works just as well as Uber but you need to know your prices. InDriver has less overall availability. The entire city has always been open. Except lately for "toca de queda. " Taxis have always been available. Ever since the first time I visited here. And Uber was not big when I first moved here. I will admit, that had it been I might not have bought a car. Nah, that is not true. I do not agree with Mr. E much. But the idea of personal transportation that you control. Well that is priceless!

I no longer stay in hotels when in the DR. Uber and Airbnb are game changers I use to stay close to El Conde because it was safe easy to fine. With Uber and Airbnb the whole city is inplay. You get way more for your money and no hassle.

Reminds me of this interview:
"This is an extract of an National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster and US Army Lieutenant General Reinwald about sponsoring a Boy Scout Troop on his military installation. Interviewer: "So, LTG Reinwald, what are you going to do with these young boys on their adventure holiday?" LTG Reinwald: "We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting. " Interviewer: "Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?" LTG Reinwald: "I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the range." Interviewer: "Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?" LTG Reinwald: "I don't see how, we will be teaching them proper range discipline before they even touch a firearm." Interviewer: "But you're equipping them to become violent killers." LTG Reinwald: "Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?" End of the interview."

Now the interview is fake. But the comeback from the fake general is funny as hell!

The last six months I've been on a DR island hop with no time to really post. I've visited Sousa, Puerto Plata, Nagua, Boca Chica, San Pedro, San Cristobal, Bani and my new favorite spot Barahona. Santo Domingo is still the spot especially where I live in Zona colonial. Good seeing all the guys from this board, Mr E, Triple darkness, Sam and the rest just passing through La Capital. For the adventurous few who aren't scared of traveling off the beaten path, I recommend Barahona. Beautiful water and waterfalls. They party at night till the curfew at the gas station / Colmado / restaurant, bars with pretty ladies everywhere. If you are there at night a wingman might be needed.
Cartagena appears to be the new Sousa but I'm watching Baranquilla for the summer.

In my experience no quality difference paying 5 k at a casa vs 1. 5 k-3 k at my hotel during days off. I forget the name of the 2nd or 3rd-floor apartment with Venezuelana or Colombiana rubios off of Presidente billini? Did that a few times it was just ok. I walked to places nearby or around the corner hotel Napolitano for chicas. I did Casa Conde balcony view, for easy walking access to nightlife, massage girls, and Pacos. Did not realize the the parades on el conde start when I am desperate to sleep. I did hotel Mystik for five days of debauchery with bar girls next door for point-and-click action or street hoes up the corner and a few Haitians. All those bars are closed now. I plan to use my Whatsapp roster, GPB girls, pacos, referrals from chicas, dominicancupid stay at Jaguar for two-plus weeks 2021 after Semana Santa is over, using points, converting miles to points, and paying for only a couple of days or Airbnb if great internet.
I hope Jaguar still girl-friendly. A shoutout to Mr. E, oldkool, subcmdr, gogo, triple darkness, oakiefor sharing advice on the board.

On the occasions that I have used hotels in Santo Domingo / Santo Domingo este I have not had a problem the "girl friendly" either. The front desk usually makes a note, takes a copy of the ID of the girl I am with and we are on our way. I have not had any issues with charges. Furthermore the girls know the routine and have their idea and do not trip on the process. Now in Sousa (during the one trip I made there) they required the girl to actually leave their idea with the front desk. In Boca Chica it was the same routine. The girl just showing idea and the front desk making a note of it.
I prefer cabanas and only save hotels for regulars visiting overnight from out of town.

Lots of nice places (Torre Armonia, Torre Downtown Santo Domingo to name two) to stay where you never have to worry if a spot is chica-friendly.

I met a semi pro on Tinder from Venezuela. We chat daily and she seems very down to earth and we have a good chemistry. I'll spend my first few days with her in a swank airbnb.
My last few days I will stay on my own in a hotel, and will try to pick up girls at bars. Like you, I do not prefer casas or street girls. I enjoy chatting different girls up in a bar and enjoying the conversation and laughs before going up for the festivities.
When I was here in 1995, I stayed at the Jaragua, but this time I was thinking to stay at the Embassy Suites or Intercontinental.
Thanks again.

Posts: 3103If girl is registered no problem
Jaraqua has aggressive security. They question anyone who they suspect of not being a quest. My last time there they asked me if the chica I was with was registered. On this occasion she was. Also when checking in the desk clerk asked if the chica checking in with me was my wife. It is possible that rules have changed traditionally Jaraqua was not chica friendly. The one you check in with only. This was a few years ago and made the place a no go for me.
