Things to do in Santo Domingo

Here are some of my proven and tried spots to visit in Santo Domingo. If you are scared to leave the hotel maybe this info is not for you. It's for the adventurous guys who aren't scared to venture out and soak up the culture.

El Conde is a great starting point to hangout and people watch. The cigar shop by the park (parque Colon) is great to scope the honeys or order some food from the restaurants nearby. Pacos, Onos, and petras are nice spots. Even walking around Zona colonial you will discover some of the mom and pop spots.

Clubs: Onos, Venezuela, Spartas, Mixer etc.

Parks: Colon park is the best to hangout at the end of conde.

Cervantes near Napolitano is great for the local culture.

Espana is also great place to have lunch.

Casas: Oasis, Foxys, flash dancer and about 5 others I can't name. Oh, GBP.

For music, drinks and some nice working girls try the Jaragua. There was a discussion here a while ago about the girls entry fee to the hotel rooms at Jaragua. My understanding is that a tourist and his wife were returning to the hotel and security stopped her and gave her a hard time. Well the woman was a Marriot executive and she raised hell. After her issue they relaxed the policy but please don't run up in there with 2 or 3 raggedy street tricks and have an incident. The girls working the casino and the bar are your best bet as they won't get harassed by security.

Skoka and a few new Venezuelan casas round out the lineup.

There is a nice cigar shop at Santiago and Pasture that I highly recommend. On Mercedes it's a new heath food spot run by Rastas that doesn't open till 7 pm wed-Sunday.

Get indriver app on your phone, fuck Uber. Uber drivers change the price too much for me. Catch indriver to Agora mall for 150-200 pesos and have yourself a wrap from green bowl and checkout the ladies. A Greenbowl is also in Sambil. Go to Mega central for the hood rats. Go to Blue mall for the stuck up girls. Ride the subway, and feel the culture.

    Ignore the critics

There have always been the individuals that are quick to be critical. As a fellow man in the arena, I simply suggest that you ignore them. Remember, credit belongs to the actual man in the arena.

Many visitors here simply do not understand the nuances of the culture in the Dominican Republic. And no amount of explaining is going to change this. Remember most posting here are giving their opinions. There is very little real actionable intelligence to be had. I read about a lot of stuff that I never see or experience while I am here. That is why my post count stays low.

The real value of ISG to me has been exchanges via private messages that I have led to fruitful relationship where mutual respect is the foundation.

    Cultural ways

Momma is funny to me because something's she just won't change for. We used to argue about keeping chicken or eggs out at night and not put them in the frig. I would put them in the frig and she would take them out so I gave up and let her have it her way, but I don't eat chicken that has been set out.

I brought a can opener that you turn and she looked confused. She is used to grabbing a big knife and stabbing the can. I showed her how to use the can opener but she won't use it.

Just yesterday she came to my new spot for the first time. I've been keeping my spot in Zona colonial and this spot till my lease expired in Zona. The first month here I was running two new friends. A Venezuelan Uber driver and my Agora mall side pieces were frequent visitors. Momma just knew about the Zona spot. Anyway momma was doing my laundry and sitting in front of the stackable washer and dryer with clothes in her hand. I asked what she was doing and she said she was waiting for a door to open. She thought it would magically open LOL. She has one of those cheap washers and no dryer. I showed her how to open the lid on the bottom washer and tried to explain the settings. I walk away and come back ten minutes later and she is washing clothes in the laundry sink by hand LOL. I started to laughing but she wasn't.

I am tired of trying to justify how I classify the girls. And justifying how I give them money. Gogo will tell me they are all hookers and Mr E will tell me I have paid too much. I just see things differently. You guys should do what you want, and stop trying to help me see THE TRUTH.

So let's give this topic a rest.
I appreciate your point of view and apologize to you for not giving the topic a rest as I think your post deserves responding to. I maintain that if I go out on a date with a woman and she asks me for money at the end of the date she is a pro. There are different types of pros, there are street walkers, brothel workers, escorts and those who do none of the aforementioned but meet guys socially and ask for money. If, as you have done, you offer her dinero even though she does not ask for money and she accepts, it would be unfair to regard her as a pro as she never asked for the cash. Some girls would actually refuse it and be offended by it. Yes, she may be so poor as to be unable to refuse, but I maintain that if she does not ask then chances are she is a non-pro. If I date a non-pro in the US after spending money on buying her a meal and other what nots she will not get a gift from me. I think I'll be treating a Dominican chica very well if in addition to treating her on a date I give her a gift.

Ok. I'm getting prices of 1500-4500 usd for regular residency. I definitely will hit you on the back channel in a few days. Thanks much.

Now I'm good to make my moves but I'm going to probably do the fast track pension residency. You just need proof of a pension for more than 1500 usd a month and it supposedly can get don in 6-8 weeks.

That would be teps, not tips. And how is the money you give after the service is rendered ensuring you get good service? You don't give the tips before the service. Unless you are doing like Grown Man and beforehand promising a specific tip if certain conditions are met.

I am not criticizing people about how they pay chicks; I am just pointing out some of the nonsense reasoning behind it. Put your life savings next to a tree in their backyard for them to pinch off of when they want for all I care. But don't say you give them money because they have less than you when if they did not fuck you you would not have given them money at all no matter how poor they were.

Do you ever get tired of criticizing everyone about how they pay their chicas?

There is no big deal. I just choose not to patronize people like that. Whether someone is dirt poor or filthy rich, I treat all people the same. I don't have a superiority complex if I have more than a person and I do not take kind to a person that would patronize me if they have more than me.

My best friend who I have known for over 30 years is a millionaire. When I go to one of the restaurants that he owns, I pay full price and give his staff a tip that is more than the bill. I don't say hey man you are doing better than me and we go way back, please take pity and give me some free food.

There are millions of poor people. Are the only ones you are concerned about the ones that are opening their legs to you? Or are you also slipping money into the purse of someone that is not opening their legs to you? If you are only doing it for the former and not the latter, then you slipping money into their clothing has nothing to do with their financial status, and everything to do with you fucking them.

    Banking and buying

I went to Banco poplar, Bank reserves and BHD and all three turned me down to open a bank account. You need a 3 month bank statement, bank approval letter,500 usd, and a few other things. I was rejected because I'm over my 30 day tourist visa so I'm illegal.

I also went to the Honda dealership here in SD to buy the new Honda CR-V all cash, but I'm fucked until this other shit is resolved. They will sell me the vehicle and insurance but if I file a claim maybe the insurance won't pay because I'm illegal because of the visa. What to do.

So I caught the ferry from SD to Puerto Rico for an overnight ride to reset my visa. Nice ride, 120 usd each way. I could have done a 90 day visa extension but I had a friend I wanted to see in San Juan.

Now I'm good to make my moves but I'm going to probably do the fast track pension residency. You just need proof of a pension for more than 1500 usd a month and it supposedly can get don in 6-8 weeks.

Also you have a choice of US dollar or / and pesos account.

When you encounter a chick that has more than you, should she just slip the money into your wallet? I am all for paying people that are supposed to be paid and that are expecting to be paid, but slipping money to chicks because after having sex with them I feel guilty for them having less than me?

Tips stands for: to ensure proper service. I don't do street walkers really. I meet them in different places and we kick it. I Know she needs that $20 way more than I do! I'm not a trick- bringing cell phones and being a Western Union novio. I just appreciate a good, clean girl who washes her ass, sucks a good dick, doesn't beg, doesn't steal and leaves when I want her to leave without begging me to let her stay. Especially one that can help me out with stuff. One girl is helping me to open a bank account in DR since I need a contact number and address. A bullshit ***** won't and can't help you with that! Not to mention, they hook me up with their better friends / family. Its just short money meng,. We're all going to die, right? LOL. And I just booked a trip to Ghana as I wrote this.

I don't think I said they are all tricks. Let me clear up your misconceptions about me and give you my truth. I'm at an age where I don't want a wife or love. All I need is an understanding and we both know our roles in this agreement. I have been with my lady for ten years and currently it's the best relationship of my life.

She gives me space, cooks for me, cleans for me, is there whenever I call or need her. She has stated that if I fuck around to use a condom and not have sex in our bed. But I don't violate this rule here, I just go out of town to play occasionally. Her son is my son. The little money I give is nothing compared to what she does for me. I can be difficult at times but she knows I'm a good guy. She has an apartment and I have mine.

I'm guessing you are judging me by my " free pussy " post. It just bothers me when guys want to throw out the free pussy convo when they can't even speak Spanish or know the culture (I wasn't even directing my quote at you, I was offering my viewpoint to Turgid). BTW the only real truth is your truth. Listen to the whispers but filter through what you need and believe, and develop your own truth bro.

Me and Mr E hardly ever agree but we get along great.
