It is not easy to pick up girls from the beach during the day. There are a lot of families out enjoying themselves and working girls are few and far between. Even if you happen to come into 10 during the day, none of them may be to your liking. There are a couple of fuck houses in Boca Chica, but in my opinion they are overpriced and even if I did decide to get someone from them, then I would still negotiate (probably offereing half of the price that I am given). At night, they close off the main drag and the restaurants and some bars bring tables out to the street. That is when you will see a few chicks parading up and down. When I was there last month on a Monday night, you could count this type of chick on one hand. After 1am, the disco named El Batey should have a few girls in it.
To me, 5 days is a long time to be in Boca Chica. I prefer to stay in Santo Domingo and only visit Boca Chica for a couple or few hours a time or 2. Of course I always rent a car so the transportation aspect does not impose a problem for me.
There are a few money changers on the main drag and also a couple of banks if you want to use an ATM.
As far as dating apps, there are plenty. Dominican or Latin American Cupid costs for sure. There are free options on Tinder, Tagged, and Badoo. I always use the "Meet Me" function on Tagged and when there is a mutal like with someone then I send them a message. You will have much better results and much bigger options if you speak Spanish AND are in Santo Domingo. On my very first trip to DR I learned that Boca Chica is not a good place to be if you plan on meeting chicks from the internet. There are only a handful of chicks in Boca Chica on the apps. I can only think of 2 or 3 that I have met in 13 years.
When you meet a chick and she is in Santo Domingo she will say Boca Chica is too far to come. She will not have money to get there. If she has a job, then she has to work during the day and I have never met ANYONE (okay maybe one chick did on my first or second trip, but she did not stay long) willing to travel to Boca Chica in the evening. If you do decide to use one of the dating sites then I do not recommend starting your search more than 1 week before arrival. Some chicks are looking for relationships and some are looking for money. Use discretion to figure out which is which, because many times they will not say right off or are hookers in church girls' clothing.
Good Luck.

Hope you are well? When I saw your post above you became very concerned. So I started googling everything on this and I did come across a Boca Chica in Texas that has been having these sort of problems recently and there is an advisory warning not to go in the ocean. I couldn't find anything on Juan Dolio or Boca Chica having any problems. SD just had a major cleanup of debris on the ocean off the malecon recently.
Hopefully you can elaborate more. Thanks.

I'm new here. Me and two of my buddies are heading to Boca chica in late October. Staying at walabocacica resort. Old don Juan. OK everything is all ready booked so please don't tell me would I should have done instead.
How is the resort I'm staying In? Girl friendly?
Easy to pick girls on the beach during the day? Any other good place to pick during the day?
Strip clubs or massage places around?
Stay for 5 days and will also head to Santo.
Money exchanger anywhere?
What about dating apps for a quick hit?

Yes Boca Chica Beach is crowded with Dominican families in the day on Saturday and Sunday, but as soon as nightfall hits they are gone, leaving the place almost like a ghost town. If you are lucky, there may be a few to pick over in El Batey Disco later on in the night.

Posts: 5611Looked at videos of Boca Chica on youtube, pretty crowded during what must be the weekend with tons of people in the water, looks pretty clean to me and must be with so many people wading and swimming. If I don't go to Boca Chica I certainly won't be going anywhere else in the DR. Pattaya's too far and am certain BC's water is cleaner.

I'm sure others will agree will my experiences, and I will say this plainly, that anyone who says the chick scene is dead hasn't been there. That's right. Hasn't been there. There are numerous reasons not to go to BC, but they are also among the numerous reasons not to even go to the DR in the first place. It was a fun visit, but low on my list of places to return to. That's why I'm returning to Colombia, not the DR next weekend. But, if I ever land at SDQ again, I expect catching a ride to BC will be the first thing I do.
