My friend, amigo what's wrong with my post? I guess this is a forum about sex and prostitution. You want to censor information about sting operations in the US and how men in the US clients of sex workers and prostitutes are treated as second-class citizens? This kind of sting operation should be illegal in the US. This is why we all visit Tijuana because prostitution is illegal in the US.

I agree it is good to make people beware that USA has these stings.

Spineless lazy cops trap prostitutes and their clients in USA which has laws written by pretend puritans.

In USA you can go to a bar and pickup a random girl, buy her food & drinks and then F her. But you can't pay to have sex. Pure bullshit.

For people who use Uber in Tijuana, I'm curious where exactly you call for an Uber at the border. Do you wait right in front of the cab stands immediately after entering, cross the street and wait at Farmacia Roma, or somewhere else? I caught a video on YouTube where somebody said he walks half a block away down ferrocarril to a paid parking lot to call, which seemed a bit much to me. PedWest had a standard carshare area but I'm never quite sure where the right place for carshare is at PedEast.

Just past the pharmacy is a parking lot surrounded by wire fencing. People usually wait in front there. There is a lull before the taxi line starts mounting up. You will see other people waiting.

Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County Fla arrested over 100 people in a sting, mostly for soliciting prostitution, this time a retied judge from Illinois, sometimes teachers, clergymen, even active LEs. He napped a few stupid pedophile ass holes who bit the baits for sex with underaged. There are a lot of baits with big hooks out there. A felony or even misdemeanor conviction will ruin your life in may ways.

If you are a USA citizen and have your DL or some valid ID coming back to the USA Will not be much of a problem. Worse case scenario you will get a dickhead agent and he will send you to secondary which only means it will cost you a little extra time.

As far as entering Mexico on foot they have just been glancing at your passport and asking you your destination. If they should notice it is expired, just explain you have reservations and blah blah blah and most cases a $ 20 will work for them to overlook the expired passport.

If for some very rare reason they deny you entry there are other options. For one when you drive in they do not check for a passport. There are always guys selling rides into Mexico in the area of the jack in the box corner. They may charge anywhere from 30 to 50 dollars. If you already have your plane and hotel reservations I would go many have done Tijuana with no passport.

Okay great. I'm not so much worried about getting into Mexico. If they turn me away I'll spend the weekend in San Diego. I just wanted to make sure I can get back into the states once I'm in. Getting trapped in Mexico would not be good.

I try not to bring many things including a wallet to Tijuana. I have slim fanny pack for all my IDs, Sentri, passport, extra money etc. I also have a money belt.

If I travel overnight somewhere with suitcase I at least lock my wallet I it. If suitcase gets stolen or slashed by a room attendant very obvious. Hotel room safes can be cracked. I bought an exoskeleton soft safe and wrap it under the sink also to deter.

I went to Tijuana last month with a friend from Texas whose passport was 6 months expired. Going into Mexico they told him that he had an expired passport and he told them that it is taking longer to get it renewed due to covid. They said no problem and allowed him entry, even without a bribe.

Or he could just pay one of those guys hanging around the tracks near the Jack in the Crack and get driven in.

I've run into a problem and I'm hoping one of the more seasoned vets can give me some information. I have a flight to San Diego tonight and a reservation at a hotel on Revolucion Ave through the weekend. As I was getting ready for the trip, I noticed my passport expired last month (big mistake).

I've done all the research I can and from what I can tell, there will be no way for me to cross in Mexico and then back into the US. I don't have a valid (non expired) passport or passport card, my drivers license is not a "enhanced ID", I do have a military ID but it is not accompanied by orders to Mexico.

My question for you all is do they really stick to these guidelines? Have any of you found a different way in and if so, will I be able to get back into the US? Thanks for any help.

For any Americans without a passport they can simply pay the 20 bucks to walk into Mexico. Some people can't be bothered to do the passport. They can still go to Mexico. If it was me, which it was a year ago, I would go to the Otay crossing. That crossing has only 1 line. I would just walk in like everyone does not showing nothing to nobody. Especially if I was Latino. In the off chance anyone stops you, you just say I was walking to the counter where I can buy the 20 dollar day pass. Of course its no legal pass and you don't get a actual pass, they just let you go into Mexico. Is it a bribe? What do they do with that 20 bucks? I don't know so that's why I don't call it a bribe. The Mexican border patrol is a polite fairly easy going group. They aren't gonna surround you, yelling, for walking in without a passport. They are much more chill than USA border patrol.
