But whenever I pull out my card, it confuses the staff, then they have to go make a photocopy of the card, and it's a bother. The nicest benefit is the extra time when going arriba. Pay for 30 minutes, get an additional 15 free. Pay for 60min, get 30min free.

But the attitudes of the meseros just really get on my last nerve, and I think I've been scowling at them when they interrupt me. Last night when I decided to buy a private from Vanessa before taking her upstairs, the mesero told her I was cheap, and the knock came after about 2 minutes, before the song was over.

Vanessa explained to me on Saturday that the meseros work 12 to 14 hours a day and they only earn tips, plus all that extra crap they are trying to sell is because of a quota. Each day, they have to sell a photo, an appetizer, and a private dance, or they have to pay the full management the full price of the items they didn't sell. And I had some sympathy for them when I first got there, but now I'm just done with them.

I think there are 2 strategies for dealing with meseros. Do what I've been doing and put up with the BS is one. But I think I may try a different strategy today. I think I may find 1 singular mesero after I arrive. One that doesn't look like a pain in the ass. I'll give him 10bucks immediately and tell him that he is now my mesero and that I will not do business with anyone else. He can check on me, but not constantly, and if I want something I will ask for it. And when I am done I will find him and give him another 10. That may be money well spent.

Maybe a mesero can be an ally instead of an enemy. We'll see.

I've had mine for almost 2 months now. Well worth it in my opinion. I don't go up to bone chicks so I can't tell you about the hotel time but. You get a free drink every time ($4 savings) , half off your first lap dance ($10 savings) , and they give you 5 bucks to take a taxi back to the border. The only ***** about it is that the $25 drink coupon they give you, has to be used on that day you purchase your VIP card and it has to be used all at once. So you basically have to buy a bucket full of beers or order up 6 shots all at once. I don't drink while I'm down there so I got a bucket full of waters. The maseros and some chicas laughed but fuck it, didn't bother me one bit. So it will pretty much pay for itself after 2 or 3 visits for the most part.
