Primary goal is having nice appartment, chill time on balcony with nice view.

Last time I had my lesson about how greedy Colombianas are so this time focus is on good appartment, nice food and cheap weed)).

Glad to hear you had a mostly good time. The first time I came to Colombia I actually knew nothing about the mongering scene. I came with a friend to meet up with a Colombian friend we knew from back home but had moved back to Colombia. He took us out all over Bogota and we had the time of our lives. I even had a Colombian girlfriend for a while. The locals know of more discreet and lesser known casas all over the city. They're really big into the online scene as well.

As for SF, I can second that even normal Colombian guys tread carefully. The first time I mentioned it to my Colombian friend his eyes lit up and portrayed a clear sense of extreme apprehension. He warned of its dangers, not being there late at night alone, etc. The place is dangerous and there are only so many things one can do to mitigate risk. Because of my background, the way I look, and my youth, I feel relatively comfortable moving around there. But it should be noted that only makes me LESS of a target. I, and everyone else there, is still a target of opportunity. By employing some common sense principles like staying where there's a lot of people, not pulling out huge wads of cash, keeping your phone in your pocket (if you bring it at all), dressing like a Colombian to the best of your ability, leaving the jewelry at home, walking like you belong, making sure the waiter opens your beer in front of you, and having some situational awareness will go a way in avoiding trouble. And for the love of all that is holy, if you're going to go to SF, stick to the main areas where the most people are located. Woodman does a good job explaining it on his tour and there are areas you most certainly would want to avoid.

Smart move taking woodman's tour to start the trip and get a lay of the land.

That being said, your mistake was getting an hour session with an SF girl inside an SF club without first getting the standard 15-20 minute test ride. As a general rule of thumb, don't expect anything close to GFE. If you want that you either have to discuss it beforehand or go to a venue where that is more common (like casas in Chapinero).

A habit that has typically worked for me in the past is to become friendly with a specific waiter in each club. I tip them well (they make pennies on the peso) and occasionally will get them a beer. If I'm getting good vibes from them I'll ask their opinion about specific girls who work there. Time and time again it has paid off.

I went out partying with some Colombian hombres last night. Non-working girls here are super friendly and really know how to grind on you while dancing.

Connected with this girl but she was playing super hard to get. Would leave pretending to be angry and then come back. Repeat over and over again.

Santa Fe is a one of a kind experience that is probably best in small doses of 3 days. Land on a Thursday, and exit on a Sunday and you should be fine. Longer stay mongers could create a balanced sex diet in Bogota by rotating between Santa Fe, Chapinero casas, upscale Chico area clubs, SA and Tinder. Since I'm not a huge fan of any of the latter options, I'm coming to the conclusion that I am not a huge fan of Bogota generally. The best luck here seems to be had by mongers willing to do the hard work of establishing SA connections- but even that seems hit and miss from what I can gather. Basic Spanish is a must.

I'm not sure I will return anytime soon- but hopefully these two trip reports have been somewhat illuminating to those of you sitting on the fence. It's always fun doing this kind of research, looking forward to more field work this summer in SEA.

Phenomenal summary. I agree with you on pretty much all fronts, especially the Brazil parts. I have a tough time comparing the two because there's a lot of overlap in terms of quality, price, etc. It just depends on what kind of scene you're going for I guess. I wrote a "All Inclusive Newbie's Guide to Rio" last summer and one of my big takeaways is that it is hard to beat the beaches of Ipanema combined with the termas. And nothing in this world compares to Scandallo in Sao Paulo.

Your point about for stays of a week or more rings true to me. I like to spend most of my time in SF because of the sheer volume of options, but it starts to eat away at you after a few days. Mixing things up with Chapinero casas, Mezzanine, etc. All make for a more diverse experience, but also requires more work, time in a taxi, etc. And like another member said, there are tons of fun things to do in the city as well outside of the hobby, if it suits your interests.

In all, I'm glad you had a great experience and were willing to share with the rest of us. I'll be on ground later this weekend and since it has been a little over a year for me, I'm curious to see how things have changed!

Your reviews were a good read; balanced and informative. Bogotá itself it actually a really cool city when venturing out for the night with the civvies. I'd say give it another go with a different target to what you set out for this time. But you can't go wrong with with 1. 5 hours with an 18 year old BBFS and CIM. Just great value and I cannot wait to sample for myself in May.

This is the concluding chapter in my two part post detailing my week in Santa Fe.

To restate, the main goal here was to determine the viability of Santa Fe for uncovered options specifically and as a location worth considering generally.

During week (s) long sex benders many things become a blur but I will try to retrieve some more relevant details from the fog of war. First I should state I've been somewhat sidetracked in my investigations (as often occurs) by the 18 yr old spinner Vennie who I've been seeing daily in addition to my other field work. It turns out she lives with her family (mother and younger brothers) literally a block away from me and so the convenience and established standard of service has been hard to refuse. At this point we've established a 1. 5 hour session with BBFS and CIM (finally) for 150 mil pesos. I get the feeling the mother sends her over when they need grocery money.

An unfortunate rato in one of the south end hotels ended after five minutes once I determined the girl had a terrible attitude- something I should've sensed on the street but was too eager to get my wad out. The deal was for 40 mil + 40 mil uncovered BJ. I offered her a kill fee of 40 which she refused saying it was my fault, not hers, as she was willing to continue, threatening to involve the police if she was not paid in full. It's hard to say exactly what's fair in a situation like this but I ended up giving her 70 mil and got out of there.

Bad experiences like this are often useful because they temper your decision making in the heat of the moment. Santa Fe may be full of a variety of tempting ladies, but you should keep in mind that not all of them are going to be positive experiences no matter how they look, and sometimes the best thing to do is refrain from pulling the trigger. I feel like if nothing else, it's fun to just circle the block a few times and soak it all in. Be very aware of the vibes the girl is giving off- but ultimately it's only in the room where you will really know what she will be like. As another poster has stated, start small with 15-20 minute transactions in order to mitigate this risk. Sometimes the most enthusiastic girl is a dud who just wanted to get paid, and the quiet shy ones are total freaks- there's really no way to know until you try.

A consensus seems to be building here that the best two clubs are Troya and Fiebre- these are also the two cubs most often full inside, and without annoying touts trying to herd you in- surely there is a correlation. Of the remaining, Atunes and Paisa are sometimes passable, Venus and California are pathetic. I'm sure there are a couple I'm forgetting. One of the primary differences I've noticed is that where you can find vernal spinners and flaca Vennies quite easily on the streets, the club girls are generally much thicker with fake body parts. If you like this sort of thing, that should be a draw- personally this is not my jam. Another distinction is uncovered service and pricing. Club girls seem less likely to agree to anything uncovered, and seem to have a higher standard rato of 60 mil or 70 mil to start. To summarize, if you like big fake tits and don't mind covered sex- you will love the clubs- the quality is easily what you would find at Gustos in Medellin at a mere fraction of the price and none of the terrible attitude.

Given this, my club experiences were not fantastic and not terribly memorable. One girl at Troya offered me a 40 mil rato plus 40 mil for uncovered service and actually gave a quite enthusiastic performance but I realized in the room that she was just too thick for me to get excited. I really admire you guys that can get rock hard every time the wind blows- as I get older I get pickier and more fussy and everything needs to be perfectly aligned. She had fantastic tits, however, and it was great sucking on those and making out with her.

Another stacked Paisa beauty at Fiebre (best looking girls are at this club IMO), offered a 60 mil rato plus 60 mil uncovered BJ, COF. So what are my thoughts after a week in SF? I think there are a few categories to consider.

Cost:

This has hands down been the cheapest sex vacation I've ever had, getting CIM for approx $25, and BBFS for $50 is hard to do outside of Asia. If you're looking for an inexpensive location- I think it's hard to beat SF in the Western Hemisphere. Centro in Medellin might be comparable, but I think SF has it bested by a narrow margin.

Service:

Unlike previous trips, I successfully cracked the "uncovered" service code and was able to find what I needed. Mostly this just involved more extensive canvasing of the area, which after you lose the timidity and initial fear becomes easier. That being said- these short impersonal ratos are not always the best time. The 15-20 minute window feels so rushed, and it's hard to get excited about being guy number 5 out of 10 for the night. Once the initial thrill of the first few days, it becomes a bit dreary. If you are regular dude, and not a priapic pornstar with a 4 girl a day pro forma appetite, it can be hard to stay excited by this scene. Mongers familiar with Brazilian levels of service will ultimately be disappointed. Club girls are a notch higher than street girls in terms of service, but if you are looking for GFE, good luck. Not happening in SF. I will however repeat- SF clubs are amazing if you like cheap, quick covered sex with sometimes pretty girls with big fake tits, but really not great for mongers with other tastes or needs.

Ambiance:

The place is a shit-hole. After a week of slinking around on the potholed, chaotic and filthy streets, I have little desire to return knowing that beautiful locations like Copacabana exist. Add to that Bogota is cold and wet and there isn't really much else to do- the overall ambience is lacking. As previously mentioned, one of the main hazards of the area are the unemployed and shiftless Venezuelan boys and young men who mill around SF making trouble. Staying in an Airbnb close by was convenient in a sense, but I needed to walk a bit to Downtown or Carrera 7 before anything resembled civilization.

So I am not sure if it is poor form to quote your own report. But I try to write for guys newer at this and provide a slightly different voice. I promise not to post a single report for every encounter I have, but I thought this was worth updating on.

I went back around 7:10 pm today and took a right when I went up the stairs instead of going straight. There was only one door that was lighted up and it was the last one. I walked in and there was another beautiful woman. Petite, short, braces, and quite the ass. Mid, maybe late 20's. Coming from the states, Santa Fe area feels pretty rough at night, especially with all the horror stories of mugging and pickpocketing. Glad I did the tour. Woodman is a chill guy and he looks out for you.

We took a walk around the streets. A couple of gems out there, but I enjoyed the clubs much more. Less hectic, you can sit, chill, drink and admire the view almost like a Miami strip club.

First time poster here. I've got a trip booked to Bogota from all of April to all of May. I've been to Medellin before but that was to go see one girl and be with her so I didn't see anyone else in that time.
