Just got back from a trip to Acapulco. Tabares still has the hottest girls but also the highest prices. The girls will ask for anything from 2000-3000 but you have to hold firm to negotiate. Chicas club the girls will ask for 1500. Foxies was full of mediocre women so I didn't even ask.

I do agree with Big Bob II that Tabares is the best club with usually the the best looking girls. The best place to sit in all of Acapulco is the back bar at Tabares that is right next to the open dressing area. There are only about 5 seats there, but all the dancers end up walking within a couple feet of you with many of them either nude ot topless after showering following their dance.

For some reason, I keep finding what I call "diamonds in the rough" at TabaresII. The prices there are considerably less than Tabares, Las Chicas and Foxys.

I recently returned from a week of vacation in Acapulco. Thanks to Kobra22, I found several great clubs. For me, Tabares was still the top club. The girls here are the hottest, and the club itself is a circus atmosphere that must be seen to believe! It starts from the moment you enter, when the midget host gives you a shot of tequilla and then escorts you to your table. Dozens of male waiters in miner hats and rollerblades and female hostsdressed like schoolgirls circle around the club on rollerblades. The music is absolutely BLARING and bass thumping. The girls put on quite a show. It's almost more of a burlesque show than a strip club, although they do strip completely nude. You can take a girl to the back room but it will cost you at least 2,500 pesos!!! Tabares is located one block north of Diana Circle. Las Chicas which I assume is owned by the same club, is directly next door.

The local strip clubs mentioned below by Kobra22 are in a small red light district located exactly as he said, one block north of the Costera and one block west of Parque Papagoya. You might find one or two gems here but for the most part, the girls are all skanky and all bearing C-section scars. They charge 1,500 pesos to take to the back room.

The last place I visited was Quinta Rebecca, which is a brothel high in the hills above central Acapulco. Any taxi driver knows this place. It's a large hotel complex with a big swimming pool and patio. There were about 10 girls sitting in bikinis in little groups around the patio. As soon as I was escorted to a chair, all the girls lined up in front of me. It was quite dark and I chose the girl with the nicest body who I thought was the prettiest, but when she sat down next to me I realized her face was plastered with makeup and she was actually quite ugly up close, to be honest. After reading every report and comment on Acapulco, I find it amazing that there is not one mention of perhaps what I find to be the best place for meeting quality chicas that are available for a fair amount less than at the major clubs (Tabares, Las Chicas, Foxys and a couple others)-that being the 10 or 12 smaller strip clubs located from one to three blocks off the Costera. TabaresII, El Sombrero, El SombreroII, and Kisses are located one block off the Costera and one block west of Parque Papaguyo. Granted, there will be very few if any gringos in these, but that has never been a problem for me. I have always been made to feel very welcome and there is not near the amount of hustle one gets at the major clubs. Everything is more relaxed at these clubs. The menu is the same as at the major clubs-table dance, private room, and takeout. I have found some real beauties in these and I am extremely picky. Some of the others are Platinum2000, Pirates, Bazookas, Egyptios, Leon Rojo, and others. I do speak just enough Spanish to get by in these clubs.

I have been going to Acapulco since 1982. Back then and for the next 12-14 years, the major attractions for me were La Zona and La Huerta. La Huerta has been closed for ten years or so and La Zona is just about dead. There is still a small amount of activity that goes on there. La Zona is located about a mile from the Costera and very hard to find if you have not been there before. There is now a small area where girls work outside some sleazy local bars that is only 2 blocks off the Costera. I was there last March and had fun driving thru the area with my rental car. Also, nearly every dancer takes a shower after dancing in a shower area also for everyone to watch.

Although I am pretty much up to date on the action in Acapulco, I can always talk to my friend who lives there and get instant updates. He knows a couple cab drivers well that keep him always up to date on the monger scene.

Sorry to make this so long, but I think everyone has been missing out on some of the best action in Acapulco.
