I did walk by Anou this morning, and my impression is that it is not likely they have parking. Cars are not the norm here. A high-end place like Novotel or Don Chan Palace might have parking. But at $22 Anou is a very low-end place, and you'd be expecting a lot for them to have parking. They don't even have Internet!

Went back to Mekong the second night. Danced with a girl there then later adjourned to a pub.

Here is my report about laos. I spent a week in Pattaya first and from there I took the bus from the petronas garage at sukumvit road to nong kay. The bus (number 407) is only 550 bath and is very confortable and since it travel during the night you have the advantge to get to the border realy early.

At the border they try to tell you that you need a guide to get the visa (at 60 dollars instead of the 30 that is the official price) but is very easy to get one by yourself. If you do not have 3 picture for the passport you have to pay 5 dollars more plus whatever the policeman ask you on top. In my case 2 dollars. Once passed the border there are a lot of tuk tuk or taxis to vientiene starting at 250 bath (I got one for 150 but I guess if you insist more oyu can get one for less maybe 100).

Prices and general info:

Everything is very cheap here and you can easly eat very well for about 10 dollars a day. The food is mostly like thai food. There are atm everywhere now, except in luang prabang, where there is noly one in the main road. But the problem is that some of the atm in vientiane only give you money in 10. 000 kips note. That means that if you take out 1 milion (about 100 dollars) you get a massive pack of notes! Vientiane is a very safe city and there is a lot of police around. There is not to much to see in vientiane but is a very relaxed town and it's nice to spend few days without trafic and surrounded by nice peoples.

Hotels guest friendly:

I stayed in the anoun hotel. They have a site on the internet with rooms at 25 dollars a day (I try to book a room via internet but the emails all came back undelivered and the booking form on the net doesn't seems to work) but once there they charge me 22 dollars for a double room very big a confortable, with cable and a big confortable bed. In the room they state that guests are not allowed but I had no problem with that. Is true that there is the law that forbid to have sex with laos girls but like many things in asia is only an excuse to get a bribe. There are a lot of farangs with girls around and the police do not seems to care. If you do not like the anoun hotels there is the mekong hotel also guest friendly and I thing the lane xane is also a possibility.

Girls:

First option is to go to a night club, the first night I went to lane xane night club, the club is very dark and it's quite difficolt to see the girls as soon as you enter the mamasan ask you if you want a girl or two, I said yes of course and soon I was presented with li (29) nice slim body and smal breasts. But a bit too shy. I was quoted 1000 bath st. In the room she was as expected very shy and meccanical and I did not enjoy it very much and in the light she did look all her 29 years of age. Cost 1000 for the girl and 45000 kip for the drinks (a couple of cokes).

Next was the cabaret at anou hotel. The light is much better there and you can see the girls very well. The girls there are much more beautifull and young and even the mamasan is not too bath. It's the same story there as in lane xane the mamasan ask you if you want a girl and it brings you one or more for you to choose. I had. Onn. 24 years of age and quite big breast for a lao girl. Long legs and a nice ass. She ask for 40 dollars or 1000 bath (that mens that if you pay in bath it's a bit cheaper since 40 dollars are about 1400 bath). The problem is the price of the drinks in the cabaret since for 2 cokes the bill was 110000 kip still very cheap by western standars but quite a lot compare with other places. In the room she was quite open to everything but she did not want to do blow jobs. During sex she was very active and she enjoyed different positions. The problem is that like in lane xane she was very meccanical and not like the thai girls. She also wanted to rush a bit too much for my liking. I was down on her testing her pussy and she already had a condom in her hand for me.

There is also another night club at the mekong river. Same story there. There are alos a number of caraoke bar and disco but I did not check them.

Street gilrs:

From the anun hotel go towords the mekong river and on your left you will see the sangha college there you will see some lady boys around 9 p. M. You can see that are lady boys a mile away so no problem there. If you continue along that road towards the fontain there are quite few girls. The girls are quite nice and very cheap. One girl ask me for only 10 dollars or 100000 kip plus 5 dollars for the room as they would not go to my hotel. The problem with this girls is they not even wear shose and they appear to want to rush and be done with it as fast as possible so even if is that cheap I prefer not ot try them. Also I found some girls along the mekong river but only on Sunday.

Other places that I checked are the disco at don chan (it's along the mekong rever past the lao arc the trionf. It's a big white building and you cannot miss it). There seems to be a lot of freebies there as the lao girls are very friendluy and even on the street you can easly stop a girl and start talking to her but you need to speak at least a bit of thai as they do not speak english or very limited.

Tuk tuk girls:

If you do not want to go hunting just ask a tuk tuk guy or wait that they ask you they will charge the same as the girls in the night club (about 1000 bath) plus 50 or 60 thousand kip for their services

. From vientieane I went luang prapang. The place is realybeautifull and there is a lot to see as for the girls there are not any grils around to be had or night clubs like in vientiene. There is a disco about 15 minutes out of town where it seems possible to have some freelance but I did not check personally so I do not know if is true or not. If you want a girl for the night or just for a quick fuck all you need to do is have a walk on the main street after 9 pm. The tuk tuk driver will ask you if you want a massage or just a lady lao. I was quoted 30 dollars for the masage and fuck and 60 thousand for the driver to drive me there and back. So I went. The place we first went was about 10 minutes out of town towards the airport. In a house there were just two girls both a 5 if you have drank half a bottle of lao wisky! So we went to another place were there are about 10 woden hoses toghether and a lot of young laos looking for a fuck. The same story here the girls are far from the beauty you see in town and also they seems to be shy and the least interested in having sex with you or anyother. There were a coulple of good looking girls (nothing to write your mum, . Maybe a 7)but I did not feel confortable with the situation. The fact is that they expect you to fuck in a room were they live with only a curtain for door and all the other people in the "living room" waching tv! It did not help that I was the only farang there and if they wanted to have me they could have done it with no problems.

All in all a very good experience but next time I go back to Pattaya!

Massage for 1 hour only cost USD3. Sauna is USD1

impressed with experience from previous trip to laos, despite of many complaints from fellow mongers about not being a good place for mongering; i have different view so i went back for more excursion in vientiane over the weekend.

arriving from udon and check into my hotel, i wander out to fill my stomach around the fountain circle. several western restaurants there and i picked one with moderate customers dininig - namphu bar & restaurant (?) for set course meal for 80,000 kip plus 15,000 kip for beer total cost of around 10 usd. not bad at all and it refilled me with energy for the night.

at corner of the popular kobjai der restaurant, there is cue of tuk-tuks waiting for customers.
i took one and asked to take me to don chan hotel as sugested by other mongers in isg to give it a try; after negotiation the ride cost is 15,000 kip.

arriving at don chan around 10 pm and it was quiet as hell, no customer, only some tuk-tuks parking and virtually no customers at all.
tuk-tuk driver said it's too early, you have to come after other clubs in town close around 12:00 or so. i am not going to wait for that long so asked the driver what he has to recommend.

"sir, you want club with lady?"

"yeah, where?"

"2 types, one where girls come to look for customer like futures near novotel; and the other one is where you go look for girl at laongdao hotel"

the latter one is said to be popular among thais and it's my first time hearing about this place and got me interested.
so, i asked him to take me there for a look.

the laongdao (read : la-ong-dao) hotel meaning stardust is somewhere northeast of don chan if my sense of direction is not wrong. it's a small low rise hotel look like shophouse from outside and once you get behind the building it's a parking lot with several other buildings (bungalows too) surrounding the parking area.

the driver talked to one of the guy there who seemed to be the agent for girls and each has his own group of girls under control.
i was told to wait while girls come. during the waiting, a group of guys (not sure thai or lao) arriaved and they spoke to other middleman and the girls start to come one by one.
but the middleman my driver spoke to came quite late and he brough only one girl to show me; but it was among the best of all.

finally it came down to 3,000 baht lt and i yielded to it (on demand of my little brother beneath my trousers) wanting to try a fresh young girl. so, we went back to my hotel and on the way got caught by a policeman for extorting tea money from the tuk-tuk driver. he was asking for some sort of document which the driver does not have and thus put in some money with the other document wrapping around and hand over to the police whom peeked into our tuk-tuk trying to see who this foreigner and a young girl is going around at this late night.

later in i asked the driver how much he gave to the police and was told 20,000 kip (around 2 usd). a price to pay for late night job like this.

back at my hotel, this girl (noon) is great to look at & admire but quite childish. asking if she can have my snacks and like to watch cartoon on tv. but for the important thing like sex, it was just as what i was suspecting; not experienced and thus almost giving no service at all. she seems to have limited number of sexual encounter and was very tight thus it seemed painful at the beginning to get into her.

There are many good mongering spots in Vientiane but a fool proof option is the disco at the Don Chian Palace, it gets busy after 11. 30pm. I had an absolute stunner from there last night. She was 18 years old and tiny at 32KGS! Yes, 32 kilo's! Fantastic, at 1, 000 baht for short time that is about 30 baht a kilo. She was a pretty good performer too.
