    Tijuana this weekend?

I would be happy to show you the bars and street scenes in Tijuana, potentially pick up any intels you have about Korea and Japan for post-CoVid travel. But also Tijuana's La Zona Norte is small and very visitors friendly with mostly self-service offers. You can easily do it yourself and have a safe, good time any day of the week.

Read the forum to get familiar with the rules and geography. Stay around the bar block for girls, bars, food and safety, may be a short walk to the trinket alley next to hotel nelson and tourist traps on Ave Revolucion. For noobs, other places should be accessed by UBER. Don't walk around by yourself at night or you may risk being robbed.

From San Diego Just take the Green Line trolley South to the end of San Ysidro Blvd and follow the crowd walking South to enter Mexico via PedEast. You don't have to pay for a visa to Mexico. Insist on a free temporary permit.

Follow the crowd South to the taxi stand, tell them Hong Kong club and pay $5 max, or call UBER.

After getting dropped off in front of HK / Cascada hotel, walk in Cascada door and climb up to reception on second floor. There is an elevator that takes you to 7th floor where you can party with HK girls and take them to the room. Security guys will direct you..
    Solo,

Unfortunately I don't have access to PMs so and when I tried to signup for access I could get a bitcoin transaction completed for a few days at least that's what I was told by coinbase as suggested by the admins. If you are thinking about taking a trip let me know and maybe we can find another way to link up for those tacos and beers. I hate that the mods / admins on this forum wait for so long to approve messages so there is no telling when you or any of the other bros will be able to see and or read this post. Anyway hope to hear from some of the bros soon and maybe get a trip knocked out.

    1st Trip to Tijuana

As I posted before I am considering making my 1st trip to Tijuana this weekend because I am in the area from a whole different part of the country so I figured I should take advantage if I could while I am here. I am looking for a bro who might be interested in showing a relative noob around the areas of interest and I am also looking for a bit of advice on how much funds I should either have on hand or available at my disposal if I am able to make the trip. Any advice or assistance any of the bros on the forum can provide would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance all.

That us border patrol desk wasn't there today, Friday. No questions asked on way in. Revolucion is making progress on reopening. Some bars are even open but not the bars we go to. But some defiantly open. I think coronavirus is on the decrease and progress is being made. Many many street girls. Like a 150 easily. Yeah 80% are overweight but they could be good in the room and there's a lot cute girls and almost no gringos. Come support them before they leave.

    Ho Lover.

    You may be right.

Whatever color that gets you down to the border.

Thanks for all the intel Solo. I would very much appreciate a tour of the areas of interest if you are up for it, might even make it worth you while with some street tacos and a few beers if you feel so inclined. Although I have been out and about in the areas such as Japan and Korea I also have some great intel on Europe that has yet to hit this forum and again would share with anyone who might be interested. I will say the following, in those other areas I was in them for a longer period of time and got really familiar before I ventured out and about so that is why I would prefer at least a guide the 1st time out and about in Tijuana. Don't hesitate to reach out I'm not in the area for long and wouldn't mind getting my feet or something else wet. LOL.

I think I look Mexican enough, LOL.
If you have the 180 Day FMM (aka $30 Visa), you can use the Mexican line but be prepared to flash your passport / passport card.

Have you heard about the new checkpoint before you walk into Mexico at San Ysidro? The new desk, which I saw Saturday so 6 days ago, had 3 staff members, I believe a turnstile like on a subway line, a desk, while they didn't question me, I walked fast. A newbie may start looking, hesitating, and then get questioned. This checkpoint is new, wasn't there 2 weeks ago or in last 5 years, and its literary on the border with Mexico so few feet before the Mexican gate that is a 1 way gate.
That is the pop up room which folds back into the wall. It isn't open all the time. They open it unexpectedly. Maybe they are using it more during Covid?

They WILL search you and have you put your hands against the wall for a Zona Norte style police search if they feel the need to. It has happened to me twice. This LEAVING the USA going INTO Mexico. They kept asking me what nationality I am and asking me if I had family in Mexico. I am not Mexican nor do I have family in Mexico. My crime was not looking white enough for them.

You are supposed to walk in on the Mexican line if have the 6 month visa pass 30 dollar thing whatever its called. I'm gonna assume, many people like me, buy it, to avoid filling up their passport book with stamps. 1 stamp every six months is better than 2 or 3 a week. Obviously a card is helpful but the passport agency is a mess now and I wouldn't mail my book in ever again until its expiring.

You can also pick up street girls in the alley behind Cascada, some used to work in HK, nice, pretty, gentle, and take them into hotel Cascada, the only hotel in La Zona with air con in this hot weather.

Alternately you can stay at hotels Pueblo Amigos, Tiquan, or Caesar ect and order escorts from agencies. Hotel Pueblo Amigos and Caliente Casino are only about half a mile South of Ped East.

Will PM you if I go this weekend.

If you don't fear coronavirus definitely go. I would not go just cause police are robbing people and waiters and staff are literally begging for tips for things that don't deserve a tip. In terms of the layout of the clubs honestly its not much worse than normal because its different. For people who have been going, having the different layouts is interesting. I had more privacy in Hong Kong now than the normal I had a whole room with a girl. But everyines gona give you some crap, for money. Maybe mexixo will tell you to buy 30 dollar pass. Maybe us border agents will ask you why you are going. If you can't handle that then don't go.

    A huge constitutional stretch

In the past CBP occasionally had agents with drugs-sniffing dogs screening people leaving the US and entering Mexico to catch people smuggling currencies and weapons.

With a turnstile and a permanent desk at PedEast entry into Mexico, CBP may soon implement a policy to screen, limit or arrest people for leaving. But CBP would need a policy decision by HS or State Dept. That is constitutionally legal.

It may be legal and reasonable for US government to block people from entering the US on grounds of CoVid risks, but blocking them from leaving is a huge constitutional stretch.
