Foot and mouth disease has existed for centuries, since before labs existed. There are outbreaks every now and then. When outbreaks happen, people understand that the disease was not created in a lab, because it has been around for centuries.

Covid-19 is a brand new disease, never encountered before. It originated right next to the only virology institute in the whole of China. Scientists have stated that it contains properties which are not naturally occuring. Furthermore, thanks to the excellent journalism of Sky News Australia, we now know that China lied (yet again) when they said there were no bats being experimented upon in the insitutute: video has been released showing bats were there.

Unlike foot and mouth, the evidence that Covid-19 was man made in the Wuhan Institute of Virology is overwhelming. Anyone who denies this can only be doing so for political reasons.

You don't know how long the coronavirus has existed. Just because it is newly discovered does not mean it has not been around. We now have the "Moscow" variant which makes 5 variants in a year. Are they all man made or is this a virus that is capable of rapid mutation. Your supposition that it is man made is just that. The evidence is extremely underwhelming. In fact there are many geneticists saying that the closest known viruses are only 96% similar. Compare this to a human vs chimp which are about 98.7% similar. Not so easy to turn a make a human out of a chimp. Though in your case turning a human into a chimp only requires reading some QANON conspiracy theories.
